"The activity room is on the fifth floor?" Shimada Sho asked in surprise.
“Yes!” Kenta Takada turned around and explained, “After the school was restructured, a lot of activity rooms were vacated. The one we applied for is on the fifth floor, on the other side of the corridor. I think it’s some kind of literary observation club across the street.”
Shimada Sho's gaze swept across the end of the corridor to that familiar door a few steps away.
The door was closed; I didn't know if Yuki Ayase was inside.
He looked away and followed Kenta Takada into the activity room on the other side.
The moment the door opened, a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere rushed out.
The activity room wasn't large, but it was carefully decorated. The walls were covered with posters and photos of Chizuru Amami, including some from stage performances, magazine shoots, and a few candid shots from her concerts.
A red banner was strung in the corner, which read, "Warmly welcome Chizuru-chan to our company."
A long table was placed by the window, covered with a white tablecloth, and on it were drinks, snacks, and a large autograph board.
The center of the autograph board was empty, surrounded by signatures.
Seven or eight boys and girls stood in two rows, holding up light sticks. The moment they saw Chizuru Amami enter, they shouted in unison, "Chizuru-chan! Welcome home!"
Tenkai Chizuru was startled by the scene and paused in her tracks.
But she quickly regained her composure, smiled and waved to everyone, "Thank you everyone, I'm back."
The activity room erupted in chaos.
"Chizuru-chan! I watched your show from last week so many times!"
"Chizuru-chan, you're even prettier on TV than you are on TV!"
"Can Chizuru-chan sign my autograph?"
Surrounded by people, Chizuru Amami patiently responded to everyone's enthusiasm.
Sign autographs, take photos, answer various questions.
She handled this job with ease, always wearing a genuine smile.
Shimada Sho leaned against the wall by the door, watching her work.
The fans, both male and female, were chattering noisily, but she must have been very happy.
Occasionally, he would inadvertently look up and give Shimada Sho a smile.
"Shimada-kun".
After finishing, Kenta Takada moved closer to Sho Shimada and said with a joyful expression, "Chizuru-chan seems to be in a very good mood."
"Ah."
Do you think she might agree to be an advisor for our fan club?
"do not know."
"I wish you could agree." Kenta Takada clasped his hands together, his face full of piety.
After Tenkai Chizuru finished signing her name, it was time for the tour.
She was enthusiastically led by her fans to tour the event room, looking at the posters on the walls and the concert merchandise on the shelves.
Fans also painstakingly created a support video featuring all the members.
Although it was simple, it was very sincere.
Chizuru Amami looked at everything very carefully, examining each poster and picking up other items to look at as well. When a girl opened a support video, her eyes started to redden as she watched it.
"Thank you everyone." She put down her phone, bowed to everyone, and said, "Thank you for doing so much for me."
"Chizuru-chan, don't cry!" someone shouted.
"I didn't cry." Chizuru Amami raised her head, her eyes red, but a smile on her lips. "I'm just very happy."
The activity room was quiet for a moment, then burst into enthusiastic applause.
Every member of the fan club was very happy.
Their carefully prepared gifts were truly seen by their idol.
After this visit, becoming an advisor to the fan club was a natural progression.
"To wrap things up, please have Chizuru-chan sign some autographs for everyone!"
After the visit, some students brought out pens.
The signature board at the entrance of the activity room was filled with the names of all the members, except for the middle one, which was still empty.
This is reserved specifically for the idol himself.
But when Chizuru Amami took the pen and walked to the autograph board, she looked around but didn't write anything.
She looked up and asked, "Isn't a name missing from this autograph board?"
"What?" Kenta Takada didn't react.
Then she asked in confusion, "Isn't Shimada the student council president? Why don't I see his name?"
"Hmm?" Shimada Sho looked up at the sound.
He's always been standing at the door like a guardian, so how come he has his own affairs to attend to?
"Yes, yes, yes! Shimada-kun, you should sign one too. You're the honorary president, you can't be absent!"
The others chimed in, "President, please sign this!"
Hearing the jeers from the crowd, Shimada Sho sighed helplessly and walked over to take the pen.
He found an empty space in the lower left corner of the autograph board and signed his name—Shimada Sho.
The hasty handwriting didn't resemble a formal signature at all.
Tenkai Chizuru, however, didn't seem to care, and only nodded in satisfaction after seeing his signature.
He then bowed his head and wrote his name on the autograph board.
Shimada Sho hadn't been paying attention to it before.
But after she finished signing, she noticed that her classmates' expressions had become somewhat strange.
Their eyes kept shifting between the autographed copy and themselves.
Puzzled, he looked at the autographed book, and his eyes widened in surprise.
On the autograph board, in the corner where he had signed, there was another name, "Tenkai Chizuru".
This wouldn't have been a problem, but he hadn't noticed it when he signed his name earlier, and only now did he see that there was a decorative pink heart symbol where his signature was.
His name was written before the symbol.
Then, as luck would have it, Chizuru Amami signed her name at the back.
So it became the style of "Shimada Sho & Tenkai Chizuru".
It suddenly seemed very ambiguous.
The two names are separated by a small pink heart, making them look like a couple's set.
Shimada Sho was really annoyed.
That girl did it on purpose.
To do this so openly in front of so many classmates.
"Amami-kun," Shimada Sho said, wanting her to wipe it off.
But Chizuru Amami looked up innocently, "What's wrong, Shimada-san? Did I sign in the wrong place? But I saw Shimada-san sign here, so I signed here too..."
She pouted slightly as she spoke, appearing somewhat aggrieved.
This sight immediately broke the hearts of fans.
"That's right, that's right, sign here!"
Kenta Takada was the first to speak.
The other students echoed this sentiment.
"Yes! We can add some decorations in the middle."
"Chizuru-chan, don't blame yourself."
"It looks good this way too!"
Shimada Sho: "..."
He finally saw what a fanatical fan looks like.
It's unconditional support; I can't stand seeing my idol even a little bit unhappy.
I didn't even think that she might be doing it on purpose.
Look at this girl, she looks so innocent, but she's actually incredibly brave.
How could I have ever thought that she was a timid and innocent little girl?
After signing, the visit officially came to an end.
Chizuru Amami walked out of the event room surrounded by her fans.
Shimada Sho walked at the very back, and as soon as he stepped out the door, his gaze unconsciously swept across the corridor.
"That's all for now. I need to go back to the classroom later. Thank you all for your hard work."
Tenkai Chizuru stopped at the entrance and said goodbye to everyone.
The students, of course, showed no disrespect, and all said they welcomed Chizuru-chan to come to the fan club often, before saying goodbye and leaving in twos and threes.
But just as Kenta Takada and Yosuke Murakami, who were the last two remaining, were about to leave, the door opposite the fan club opened.
An unexpected figure emerged one after the other, following closely behind Yuki Ayase.
She stopped when she saw the person standing at the door.
Her flowing silver hair swayed slightly from the inertia of her stop.
It was the young lady I had just said goodbye to not long ago.
She spotted Shimada Sho walking behind her, her amber eyes fixed on him.
Yuki Ayase also saw him, crossed her arms, and a faint smile appeared on her lips.
The three people's eyes met across the corridor.
“What a coincidence, Shimada-san,” Yuki Ayase said first, her tone light and cheerful.
Yukine Kamishiro didn't speak, but glanced at Sho Shimada, then at Chizuru Amami beside him, before looking away.
"Didn't Shimada-san say she wasn't interested in idols?" she asked calmly.
Before Shimada Sho could answer, Takada Kenta, who was about to leave, interrupted, "Shimada-kun is the honorary president of our Chizuru-chan fan club. He's very interested in Chizuru-chan!"
Chapter 179 Are you interested?
Kenta Takada's words were like a pebble thrown into a calm lake.
This caused ripples to spread through the surrounding air.
At this moment, Kenta Takada realized that the atmosphere in the corridor was somewhat subtle.
Upon noticing the young lady's cold gaze, he shrank back and fled with Murakami Yosuke.
Shimada Sho was left standing there, unsure of what to say for a long time.
He had just told the young lady that he wasn't interested in idols and didn't know who Amami Chizuru was.
As a result, he was caught red-handed on the spot, and his fan club came to help him escape.
It seems like he's being insincere no matter how you look at it.
Shimada Sho clearly felt two pairs of eyes fall on him at the same time.
A voice came from the young lady, her amber eyes carrying a hint of something indescribable.
Another person, from Tenkai Chizuru, was looking at him, her lips slightly pursed, as if trying to understand the meaning of the young lady's words.
As luck would have it, Ayase Yuki walked over at that moment. "Honorary President, I didn't expect Sho-kun to have this kind of hobby."
A faint smile played on her lips as she walked up to Shimada Sho before taking a step.
