"Manager..."

“Just call me Manager, adding ‘adult’ sounds awkward.” Murphy interrupted him, then urged, “Alright, speak your mind. Don’t worry about the bar. I recently reinforced the space; unless it’s a Captain-level Impreza or higher, no one can budge this place!”

Murphy couldn't wait to get to the juicy gossip.

He remembered a little bit of the Naruto plot, but not much. Besides, there was no such scene in the original work.

Gintoki, who had originally planned to go back, quietly sat back down.

He also enjoys watching the drama unfold!

Not only that, he also noticed that the quiet, reserved guest at the next table, who always just ordered a pot of wine and sat there quietly, also stayed behind.

The two looked into each other's eyes and felt as if they had found kindred spirits.

Meanwhile, the events of ten years ago were recounted by the third generation.

Perhaps because they were now at a bar, the third generation was speaking more openly and didn't deliberately hide the fourth generation's identity.

"...In the end, the Fourth Hokage had no choice but to seal the Nine-Tailed Fox inside his newborn child. And that child was you, Naruto Uzumaki."

"I am the Nine-Tailed Fox, the child of the Fourth Hokage?"

Naruto was stunned.

He was only ten years old when he suddenly heard something so shocking, and his already slow-witted mind froze even more.

No wonder the one-eyed senior brother just said that his parents were actually heroes.

So, he wasn't some hated monster, but rather the descendant of a hero? His father was the fourth generation who saved the village chief, whom he admired most?

Naruto was actually quite perceptive. Even though the adults were avoiding him due to the Third Hokage's prohibition, he vaguely sensed that everyone treated him like a monster.

But he was even more confused. If that were the case, wouldn't he have saved the village? Why were people so hostile towards him?

Naruto, unable to understand, felt wronged, and his eyes were red.

"Don't blame them. They were just too scared." The Third Hokage gently pressed Naruto's shoulder and sighed.

"They couldn't understand the difference between a fox spirit and a jinchūriki. So they projected all the pain and fear they themselves had onto you."

Naruto still didn't understand.

He didn't really want to hate or blame anyone. But if everyone hadn't done anything wrong, then hadn't he done nothing wrong either?

"Naruto, Fourth Hokage, your teacher sealed the Nine-Tails inside you in the hope that you could become a hero of the village." Kakashi was also trying his best to comfort Naruto.

However, he didn't seem very confident when he said that.

The Fourth Hokage's thoughts weren't hard to guess. In fact, he probably knew exactly how Naruto would be treated, since he had witnessed Kushina's fate firsthand. Yet, for the sake of the village, he still made this decision.

As the third generation said, perhaps no one is at fault, but why should innocent children bear the brunt of malice?

"Why, why won't you tell me who my mom and dad are?" Naruto's voice became hoarse without him realizing it.

"This is for your own good."

In this respect, the third generation truly has a clear conscience.

"Your father, the Fourth Hokage, was incredibly powerful during the Fourth Shinobi World War thanks to his Flying Thunder God Technique. Other ninja villages even issued orders that if they encountered Minato on a mission, they should abandon him without a second thought. But because of this, he made many enemies. After Minato's death, if those enemies knew of your existence, they would definitely not let you go. They would be afraid that you would inherit your father's talent and become the second Yellow Flash. Therefore, I had no choice but to conceal your true identity."

Naruto was a little angry, but also a little proud.

Before he could even wipe away his tears, he asked the third generation, "Did I inherit my father's talent?"

The Third Hokage and Kakashi smiled politely, though with a hint of awkwardness. As for Naruto now, let alone inheriting Minato and Kushina's talent, they couldn't even guarantee he'd graduate and become a genin.

Naruto, however, was oblivious to this.

Although he was very angry, perhaps because he hadn't encountered Mizuki like in the original story, or perhaps because his experiences at the bar had warmed his heart, he wasn't planning on going berserk.

Most importantly, according to the third generation grandfather, his real enemy was actually the mastermind behind the Nine-Tails and the Nine-Tails itself.

The thought that he lost his parents because of them made Naruto want to drag them out and beat them up immediately.

Kurama sneered repeatedly from within the seal inside Naruto's body.

These people talk a good game, treating the Tailed Beasts like wild beasts and sealing them away without their consent. Did they even consider their feelings? The old man's prophecy from back then was definitely wrong. Humans are simply not trustworthy. Or perhaps his prophecy was actually about aliens.

Kurama genuinely felt that it was better to join the Dark Legion than to be enslaved by humans! At least the Dark Legion wouldn't discriminate against monsters.

……

As I wrote, I felt the pace was getting a bit fast. But after thinking about it carefully, given the personalities of these characters, the ending at the bar was bound to be like this. Especially Murphy, who was actually looking forward to having fun all along.

By the way, please vote for me!

Chapter 55 Spoiler Alert!

Nine Lamas was filled with longing.

Its main body is quite large, and its appearance is similar to that of a monster. Looking at it this way, it is simply a member of the Chosen Legion!

pity--

Nine Lama sighed sadly.

If only that shopkeeper had accepted His Majesty's offer of recruitment, I might have been able to ask him for a recommendation.

Unlike the Third Hokage and Kakashi, who were still doubting Murphy's stance, Kurama possessed the ability to perceive good and evil.

In his perception, Murphy's emotions were as vast as the ocean, yet as calm as a lake. When facing the Third Hokage and the others, apart from a slight sense of pleasure, he harbored not a single trace of malice.

It's a feeling of being superior, of treating all things as mere straw dogs.

The Nine Lamas had lived for a thousand years and had seen countless people. But even the old man's family from back then couldn't give him this feeling.

In his eyes, he and Naruto were both just his guests. He would never hurt Naruto for his own sake.

However, Nine Lama thought it felt pretty good.

Over the past millennium, it has endured far too much hatred, betrayal, and loathing. Days when it can be treated with such equality are truly rare.

Perhaps, this is the realm of the Demon King!

Nine Lama lay down and placed the fox head on his two front legs.

It will not give up its fight for freedom. But for now, at least, it just wants to enjoy this rare moment of peace.

In this tavern, apart from the Third Hokage and his group, no one felt any disgust or fear towards it because of its status as a Tailed Beast. It hadn't experienced such peaceful times for countless years.

Murphy was somewhat disappointed.

He thought Naruto would go berserk and turn evil after learning the truth. But he forgave the Third Hokage and the villagers so easily? Isn't that a bit too much of a saintly act?

This personality is actually suitable for being the human form of Ultraman.

Murphy was unwilling to accept this.

This is not the scene he wanted to see!

He didn't necessarily want to stir things up; it's just that a story that's too calm lacks tension.

However, Murphy's memory was far too worn down. Aside from remembering that Naruto was the protagonist of the Naruto world, he couldn't think of any other way to get them to pull off a major attack.

But it doesn't matter if he doesn't know; there are people at the drinking party who do.

"Hey, Gintoki, come here for a second!"

"What's wrong!" Gintoki was engrossed in watching the drama unfold when Murphy suddenly called out to him.

"You should know the plot of their world, right?" Murphy asked Gintoki telepathically.

"I know a little..." Gintoki's heart skipped a beat. Murphy's sudden question seemed to have ulterior motives.

As expected, is the shop manager finally going to reveal his true nature as a demon king?

The reason Gintoki never brought Shinpachi and Kagura to the bar was not because he wanted to eat alone, but because he was wary of Murphy's identity as a Mefilas alien.

Although Murphy claims he's retired and has no intention of doing anything bad anymore, he is, after all, that terrifying alien known as the Gentleman Demon King. What if one day he picks up his old ambitions again?

Although Gintoki is carefree and irresponsible, he still cares about his comrades. He considers everyone in the Yorozuya as important family, and he doesn't want them to suffer any harm. Therefore, he plans to observe Murphy for a while, thoroughly understand his character, and then decide whether to let Shinpachi and Kagura know about the tavern.

"Then hurry up and spoil the future for them! Preferably something fun!" Murphy urged, "Hurry up, hurry up!"

Gintoki blinked: "That's it?"

"What do you mean by 'that's all'?" Murphy asked, puzzled.

"Haha!" Gintoki scratched his curly hair: "I thought you were trying to sow discord and start a war to set the entire ninja world ablaze..."

"How could you be so wicked!" Murphy stared wide-eyed at Gintoki in disbelief. "Just for a little fun, you're going to kill so many people. I really need to report you to the Space Garrison so they can arrest you!"

"No, no!"

Gintoki shook his head vigorously, like a rattle-drum, and hurriedly tried to explain.

What a joke! Ah Yin isn't strong enough to require Ultraman to take care of him!

"I just misunderstood," Gintoki said embarrassedly. "After all, you're known as the Gentleman Demon King, sir..."

"I've already turned over a new leaf!" Murphy was too embarrassed to say that the first time he seriously planned to invade was when he encountered the first one, and then he retired because he regained his humanity.

"Okay, let me think, what spoilers could I give away..."

Gintoki rubbed his temples, deep in thought.

Although he seems capable of breaking the fourth wall, his understanding of other worlds primarily comes from their world's Weekly Shonen Jump. And in their world, Naruto is still being serialized, so he doesn't know everything. More importantly, he's read so many manga that he's forgotten a lot of the plot, and suddenly having to recall the funny parts is quite a challenge for him.

The third generation and the others were also a little curious when they saw Murphy suddenly call Gintoki over.

"Have it!"

After racking his brains for a long time, Gintoki finally came up with one: "Naruto's first kiss was Sasuke's!"

"puff!"

The Third Hokage, who was drinking, spat out his drink, and Kakashi, sitting opposite him, helplessly picked up a towel to wipe his mask.

“Da de ba yo!”

Naruto jumped up immediately: "What nonsense are you spouting, you old man!"

Gintoki picked his nose and calmly replied, "I didn't make this up, it's from a manga!"

"Manga?" The Third Hokage frowned. There were manga in the ninja world, but they weren't very popular.

“Yes, the story of your world has been drawn into manga in our world.” Gintoki was extremely calm. He could even accept that he was a manga character himself, so he was even less concerned about other people’s affairs.

"Really?" Kakashi instinctively didn't want to believe it; after all, no one wants their life to be just a story written by someone else. But he could cross dimensions to come to the Monster Tavern in another universe, so it didn't seem entirely impossible.

"This kind of thing happens all the time!" Murphy waved his hand. "Our universe's story is often made into TV series by other universes."

Even Murphy said so, so the Third Hokage and Kakashi could only accept it with some skepticism.

"I'm saving my first kiss for Sakura. Damn it, that arrogant Sasuke, I'll never forgive him!" Naruto initially didn't believe it, but now he's fast forward to the point where he wants to go back and beat Sasuke up.

The Third Hokage and Kakashi had completely given up on Naruto's intelligence. However, they had more important questions to ask now than about Naruto's education.

"Excuse me, could you show us that comic you mentioned?"

The Third Generation pleaded with Gintoki: "I'll pay. If ordinary currency won't do, anything else will do! Name any price I can afford!"

No one can resist the temptation of knowing the future, and the Third Hokage was no exception. As for whether saying this would seem too hasty and cause Gintoki to make an exorbitant demand... the Third Hokage felt that compared to controlling the future, any price was acceptable.

……

The durian I bought earlier seems to have gone bad; I got a bit of an upset stomach from eating it. That's why the update is late.

Chapter Fifty-Six: The Poor Nine-Tailed Fox

"Oh?"

Gintoki was immediately tempted. He was extremely poor, so how could he not be interested in a chance to make money?

However, this is Murphy's territory. Whether it can be done or not depends on Murphy's decision.

Ah Yin wasn't someone who didn't know how to repay kindness. He could eat his fill of sweets every day just by slacking off here, so now that he had a chance to make money, he would never keep it all to himself!

"Manager, could you please be our witness? We're willing to pay you for it!"

The third generation wasn't particularly politically astute, but as the village's leader, he still possessed basic manners. Gintoki only glanced at him before realizing that they couldn't afford to overlook Murphy in this deal.

Regardless, they only got this opportunity to know the future because of Murphy's bar, so they should show some appreciation out of both courtesy and reason.

Not only that, the third generation also harbored a thought in his mind.

It's obvious that Murphy and Gintoki just said something, which is why Gintoki came to spoil the plot. Perhaps, the so-called manga is just a pretext. This white-haired samurai in front of us is actually Murphy's double agent.
