Ash, with his invincible physical body, wants to become a Pokémon Master

"Those stones are very rare."

She had mentioned the Mega Stone to Sakura after seeing Ash take it out and use it.

Although her older sister later got her a set, it cost a lot of money, and it was a Gyarados evolution stone.

Xiaoxia is terrified of Gyarados.

Only after actually collecting them did I realize that not only are Mega Stones hard to find, but not every Pokémon can Mega Evolve.

Obtaining a Mega Stone for your Pokémon is extremely difficult and cannot be achieved simply by having money.

Seeing Ash pull out a new Gengar Mega Evolution Stone from some unknown four-dimensional pouch, Misty couldn't help but ask out of curiosity.

"Ash, where did you get so many different kinds of Mega Stones?"

"Even Professor Oak wouldn't give you this much, would he?"

"That's actually the legendary Arceus A-Meng..."

"Alright, stop talking." Xiaoxia immediately interrupted, realizing that Xiaozhi was having some unspoken difficulties.

But Ash also has something to say: in the Pokémon world, anything that's not right can definitely be thrown at Arceus.

How can you say he's lying?

Without wasting any more time, Ash immediately dragged Gengar to the open space next to the shrine to try out its Mega Evolution.

Mega Evolution requires a strong bond between the trainer and the Pokémon to succeed, and Ash and Gengar's Senses are already maxed out, so their bond has long been sufficient.

He raised the Key Stone on his wrist and began to resonate with Gengar's Mega Stone, and Gengar's entire body immediately emitted an evolutionary glow.

A moment later, the light faded, and Gengar's originally chubby body became even sharper, with spikes appearing on its hands, feet, and tail.

The lower half of its body is purplish-red, and a yellow gold coin resembling a third eye has appeared on its forehead.

"Is this Mega Gengar?" Misty and Pikachu stepped forward to examine Gengar with curiosity.

The evolved Gengar was also very excited, as it could feel its power increasing.

"Alright, Gengar, familiarize yourself with your powers. Tomorrow we'll be battling Ms. Agatha!"

"Kou Jie!"

The next day, Kikuko waited early at the battlefield of the temple.

Grandma Suzukin and Shigeru helped tidy up the battlefield.

Ash and his friends arrived there soon after.

"Are you ready, Ash?"

"Of course, Ms. Kikuko, we can begin anytime!"

Hearing Ash's energetic response, Kikuko nodded in satisfaction.

“Damu’s grandson, be the referee.”

Xiao Mao had no temper at being ordered around like that, and obediently went to the center of the field.

Kikuko took out her Poké Ball and threw it onto the field, where a red light flashed.

A Pokémon appeared on the field with a dark green body, will-o'-the-wisp-like hair, red irises, and a string of red beads around its neck.

As soon as it appeared, it flew happily around Kikuko, revealing a mischievous smile.

"This Pokémon is a Misdre..."

Ash the Misdreavus has been seen quite often in the forest. To be honest, he's small and very cute, but he doesn't seem to match Agatha's imposing presence.

"Alright, since that's the case, Gengar is the one!"

With both Pokémon in position, Gary gave the signal to begin.

"Gengar uses Shadow Ball!"

"Dream Spirit Shadow Ball!"

With a deafening boom, the collision of the shadow orbs produced a massive explosion, whipping up dust that made it difficult for onlookers to open their eyes.

"Oh dear, the old man's eyes can't withstand this kind of damage."

Grandma Lingjin quickly hid behind Xiao Mao, using him as cover.

"The attacks from both sides are so strong." Xiao Mao shielded his face with his arm, intently observing the battle.

They started by exchanging Shadow Balls as a friendly gesture, and both Pokémon showed excited expressions on their faces.

Ash immediately revealed his Mega Evolution.

A flash of white light illuminated the Mega Gengar, which stood tall on the earth.

"Kou Jie!"

"So you and Gengar have already mastered Mega Evolution. That's quite a pleasant surprise."

A hint of surprise appeared on Kikuko's face.

"It seems we should send Gengar into battle. But this battle won't be boring. Misdreavus, use Trick Room."

As soon as she finished speaking, the Dream Demon immediately released a shimmering flash of light that distorted the surrounding space.

"What is this?" This was the first time Ash had encountered this kind of tactic.

"Once Ash activates this move, as long as the space is active for a certain period of time, slower Pokémon can attack first, so be careful."

Xiaoxia, the external brain, quickly reminded Xiaozhi that he shouldn't underestimate the enemy and act rashly just because he has a Mega Gengar.

"I see. That means the opponent's attacks will always be faster than mine."

It is a bit troublesome.

Ash believed that with Gengar's power after Mega Evolution, as long as he survived the first round, his own move would hit once and he could defeat Misdreavus.

"Gengar uses Shadow Ball!"

"Dream Demon, Dark Pulse!"

Due to the effect of Trick Room, Misdreavus, which was originally much slower than Gengar, launched its attack first.

The opponent's Dark Pulse was extremely powerful, instantly repelling Gengar and almost dissipating the Shadow Ball that had been condensing in its mouth.

"What incredible power!"

"Pickup!"

Misty and Pikachu, who were watching the battle from behind Ash, exclaimed in surprise.

The Misdreavus was so fast that it was impossible to see clearly, but the power of the Dark Pulse attack still left a deep scratch on the field.

This Misdreavus is a very high-level Pokémon, a genuine Elite Four-level Pokémon, not just cannon fodder randomly sent out by Agatha Christie.

However, Gengar, being Ash's Pokémon, has the advantage of being trained by his family and is "naturally" stronger than its kind.

Furthermore, after Mega Evolution, Gengar's Special Attack is greatly enhanced, and its Speed is also increased.

He quickly recovered and transformed into a black shadow, swiftly moving behind the Dream Demon.

"Well done, Gengar! Now, use Shadow Ball!"

A black energy ball condensed in its mouth and was fired at the Dream Demon.

This Shadow Ball was extremely swift and powerful, hitting the Dream Demon directly, and a painful expression immediately appeared on its face.

"it is good!"

Ghost-type is super effective against Ghost-type, and Misdreavus is inherently weak in terms of HP.

It was hit by a Shadow Ball from Mega Gengar and suffered massive damage.

"Very impressive power. Gengar has improved a lot compared to a week ago."

Gary carefully observed the battle, wanting to better understand Ash's strength as a formidable rival.

"But you think you can defeat my Dream Demon just like that? Not enough!"

As expected, after the smoke and dust from the Shadow Ball explosion dissipated, Ms. Kikuko's Misdreavus withstood the attack and did not fall.

“It’s an Evolution Stone.” Gary immediately recognized the item that Misdreavus was carrying.

"If a Pokémon that can still evolve is holding an Evolution Stone, its Defense and Special Defense will both increase by 50%."

It is thanks to this that the Dream Demon can continue fighting.

"Your knowledge is solid; at least you have some strengths." Kikuko rarely praised Shigeru, but then immediately gave an order to Misdreavus.

"Dream Demon uses Pain Relief!"

"What."

If this move hits, the stamina of both parties will be added together and divided equally.

In the Trick Room, slow-moving Dream Demons will always attack first, and their skill release speed is ridiculously fast.

Gengar was surrounded by the flashes of light emitted by Misdreavus before it even had a chance to dodge. Gengar was covered in the same scars as Misdreavus within the flashes.

Neither of the Pokémon are particularly strong; Misdreavus was already on the verge of losing its ability to battle.

With their stamina evenly split, both sides were left with very low health.

"Then we'll have to see what the next strike will decide!"

Ash and Kiku spoke at the same time.

"Gengar uses Spirit Spell!"

"Dream Demon, use Shadow Ball!"

The opponent's Shadow Ball hit first, and the massive energy ball exploded, kicking up a lot of dust.

"ended."

"No, not yet, Gengar, stand up!"

Just as Kikuko was about to turn and leave, the Evolution Stone on Misdream suddenly moved and attacked it.

"what!"

It's Roar of Rejuvenation; Ash used Roar of Rejuvenation.

Although Ash seemed a little overwhelmed as it was his first time facing Trick Room, Gengar persevered and slowly rose from the shadow on the ground with a smile on its face.

"Kou Jie!"

The Spirit Slash skill was successfully activated.

Dark energy manipulates the evolution stones on the Misdreavus to relentlessly attack its master.

The dream demon, quickly becoming dizzy from being hit by the stones, finally collapsed.

"Dreammonia is unable to battle, Ash wins!"

"Great, Gengar!"

After the battle, Gengar's Mega Evolution was deactivated, and Ash rushed over to hug the little black chubby guy in celebration.

Kikuko also withdrew the fallen dream demon.

"Thank you for your hard work, you did a great job, Dream Fairy."

She only shows gentleness when she's with her Pokémon.

After putting away the Poké Ball, he looked up at Ash again. Although his expression was as stern as ever, his words were not cold.

"You win. It seems that Da Mu's judgment was correct."

After saying that, Kikuko left the Enchanted Forest without looking back.

She's such a decisive person; Xiaozhi hasn't even properly thanked her for taking care of him all this time.

Xiao Mao followed closely behind, leaving together one after the other.

After witnessing Ash defeat Agatha's Pokémon, his sense of crisis intensified.
