His body was slowly absorbing this power. As he grew older, the most obvious change in Furukawa Osamu was that his strength increased and he was extracting more and more chakra.

The slug on my shoulder began to wiggle its antennae merrily again, its senses growing stronger each day:

Will Lady Tsunade become Hokage?

Furukawa Osamu was somewhat surprised to hear the slug's soft, sweet voice, and asked curiously in return:

"A live slug would care about these things? The Hokage title is meaningless to you, isn't it?"

"It's just a guess based on Tsunade's transformation. She told me about this dream when we were little."

The live slug's tone became lighthearted; the Contractor's dream coming true was also an interesting experience for her.

Furukawa Osamu hadn't expected this immortal to have such a hobby. Thinking of Tsunade's increasingly diligent work, he said softly:

"Tsunade-sensei has a great chance, but ultimately it depends on the village's decision."

"I just wanted to give the teacher a push. As for the result, it wasn't that important. After all, I didn't have high expectations."

“Most people don’t like sharing power. Disrupting the balance can cause turmoil, and the ‘darkness’ at the roots can continue to spread.”

The slug flicked its antennae; too lazy to think it through, it simply sighed casually:

"Human thoughts are so complex!"

...

The disappearance of the Third Kazekage has heightened tensions in the ninja world. Konoha has begun to strengthen border patrols and accelerate the stockpiling of supplies.

At Konoha Hospital, the number of wounded is increasing again, making C-rank missions more dangerous, and injuries to genin are inevitable.

In the hall, Nohara Rin solemnly used healing magic to complete the initial treatment. The girl had been busy from morning to afternoon, and her body had reached its limit. When she stood up, she swayed involuntarily.

"Lin, don't push yourself too hard! Leave the wounded to me."

Shizune helped the girl up, and Nohara Rin smiled brightly, responding softly:

"It's okay, I only need a few minutes to rest."

In the evening, when Obito Uchiha visited Rin Nohara at the medical team, he saw that the girl looked pale and immediately asked her with concern:

"Why are you so tired, Lin? Don't push yourself too hard!"

Perhaps it was the sight of the two being so affectionate that irritated the ninjas who had lost their comrades, for one of the lower-ranking ninjas, with his right arm in a sling, spoke up sarcastically:

"Can staying in the hospital and receiving subsidies be considered risking one's life?"

"It's naive brats like you who embolden the enemy; you cowards only advocate passive defense..."

Obito could tolerate others' sarcasm and ridicule, but when it came to Rin Nohara, he immediately rushed over, grabbed her collar, and shouted angrily:

"Apologize to Lin right now! Or you'll regret it!"

"Do the Uchiha clan only bully us commoner ninjas?"

"Get out, you Uchiha clan bastard!"

"..."

The Uchiha symbol aroused the wounded in the hall. Obito was unaware that as the local conflict intensified and war was imminent, many people were filled with anger and fear.

As Obito was gradually surrounded by the crowd, he tried to argue loudly, but the ninjas were not good-tempered and soon began to push and shove each other.

Just as a conflict was about to erupt, a "tsk tsk" sound suddenly appeared.

The chakra senbon, crackling with blue electricity, struck the legs of the group with pinpoint accuracy, causing them to collapse to the ground.

Obito also fell to the ground. When he looked at his legs, he saw nothing. Just as he was about to get up and continue arguing, he heard a familiar voice again:

"Conflicts are prohibited here."

Osamu Furukawa appeared in the hall wearing a medical ninja's protective suit. The Chidori Senbon he had just used had calmed everyone down, and they all bowed their heads and said in unison:

"I'm sorry, Master Xiu..."

The Chunin responsible for maintaining order at the hospital finally "stepped forward," wanting to see the Uchiha clan suffer a setback, having been watching the show from the sidelines.

The oblivious Obito Uchiha didn't notice the details; his eyes were only on Rin Nohara. He immediately went to the girl's side and asked with concern:

"Are you alright, Lin? Those guys are awful. I'll protect you."

Rin Nohara keenly noticed the recent changes at the hospital. The girl connected the dots to the war, but seeing Obito's concerned expression, she still smiled and said:

"Thanks to Obito! Don't worry about everyone's attitude; many people have lost their comrades."

Obito smiled upon receiving the praise, but after a moment, he remembered the tense atmosphere in the village and muttered to himself unconsciously:

"War?"

-

In mid-February, news of the Third Kazekage's disappearance and suspected internal strife in Sunagakure spread widely throughout the village.

While Sunagakure chose to send more ninja troops to the border, the "hardliners" in Konoha once again volunteered for war.

It's unclear when exactly, but a rumor began circulating in the village that if the war was won, the Daimyo of the Land of Wind would entrust the task to Konoha.

Although careful consideration reveals that this is impossible, many ninjas still choose to believe it, and the "hardliners" have stirred up a huge wave of voices.

Tsunade was in a bad mood, buried in her documents in the office early in the morning. War always made her think badly, and the calls for the village to fight made her feel even more disgusted.

"Tsunade-sensei also needs to balance work and rest; frowning will cause wrinkles."

Furukawa Osamu handed her a cup of hot tea. Tsunade glanced at it irritably, then sat up straight and muttered:

"What is the village trying to do? Spreading these rumors, and the old man didn't stop them."

"Teacher, the mission can't hold on any longer. It seems like war can solve this problem."

Having too many "tools" means you have to use them up, and you can also gain more benefits along the way. Tsunade understands this, but she still felt uncomfortable after hearing what Furukawa Osamu said.

"This is not something you, brat, should be thinking about! Go get me another cup of tea."

Furukawa feigned helplessness, and Tsunade finally smiled, watching her disciple's retreating figure and sighing inwardly:

"Too much talent can indeed be a problem..."

A New Year's Letter to Book Lovers

Today happens to be the Little New Year in northern China, and my new book has reached 10 words. I wish all my readers a happy new year in advance!

The intention was to review the past year, but upon reflection, it seems I already summarized it when my last book ended.

Having written two sports novels, I certainly can't call myself a newbie anymore. If I had to sum up my thoughts, I'd probably only have one:

"Don't fight the market QAQ"

Not long ago, I showed this book to a good friend who loves the NBA, hoping he could find some flaws. After reading the first few chapters, he immediately started criticizing it:

"Iverson like this? Forget about him..."

Looking at it again later, I complained again:

"Jordan lost his three-peat? How did Kobe and Duncan become clowns? You're writing nonsense!"

I barely made it to the end, and the complaints got even worse:

"It's one thing for LeBron James, but why can't Kobe and the others win a few times? This protagonist has no sportsmanship."

"..."

After hearing everyone's thoughts, I checked the rankings again and finally came to the stark reality: it was all thanks to the support of my longtime readers that I wrote such niche content...

-

Let's talk about the new book. This is my favorite theme. As a long-time anime and manga fan, writing fanfiction of popular manga was my dream back then.

While writing this book, I actually browsed through all the bestseller lists. After reading them, I was completely stunned because I couldn't write anything with that kind of wild imagination...

When I submitted my work to the expert Qilin, I thought I'd just withdraw it if it wasn't approved, but it actually was! =.=

Now that the manuscript has been accepted, it has to be completed, and a complete story has to be written!

Readers today will easily notice that the book's settings are basically derived from the manga and official guidebooks, and the power system largely follows the original work.

I could have skipped the White Fang storyline, but I wrote it in the end to show the general logic of the book.

Those who accept this will continue reading, while those who don't can stop reading in time.

The purpose of free chapters is to inform readers how the book should be written, so as to avoid any discrepancies after it is officially released.

After all, readers are paying money, so authors have to provide good service. (﹃?)

The main reason why the protagonist lacks presence in the early stages is due to the timeline. Readers familiar with Naruto should know that there are age restrictions for Jonin or Anbu captains in the manga.

Kakashi's promotion to Jonin at the age of 12 was an exceptional achievement, while in the Itachi Shinden novel, the minimum age for an Anbu squad leader was 13.

Since the main character isn't old enough, there won't be many conflicts before the Third Shinobi World War. I don't want to force myself into situations where there aren't any...

The worldview in the book will also expand on the manga and official fan fiction, just like the "tool theory" in the book, which is mentioned in the Land of Waves arc of the manga.

There's no need to worry about combat strength, because Naruto manga is inherently a wish-fulfillment story!

Obito, Naruto, and Sasuke are the most typical examples; they were ridiculously strong at a young age...

Since the original characters are "strong", the protagonists of the same age will only be "stronger".

-

=。= I feel like this book is written for a niche audience, but since the outline has been approved, I don't plan to change it.

Regarding the feedback from readers about ninjutsu, I probably won't describe it much later, since a phrase like "Chidori Sharp Spear" or "Rasenshuriken" is enough for everyone to automatically imagine it.

The only ninjutsu that will be explored in more detail is the protagonist's Sage Mode and chakra application, which are not present in the original work and will definitely require more development.

I couldn't sleep at night, so I wrote this. Please continue reading! QAQ

It seems that Qidian has launched four new rounds of PK, but I don't know the specific effects. I'm currently in the first round, so I can only focus on writing.

Thank you to my longtime readers for your support, and thank you to those who have collected and continued reading this book!

Happy Little New Year everyone!

Chapter 48 Even Ninjas Fear Death... (Please Read On)

At the end of March in Konoha Year 47, the annual graduation season arrived as scheduled. Unlike previous years, there were fewer students graduating early.

The war broke out faster than many people expected. As soon as the weather warmed up, conflicts broke out repeatedly on Konoha's border.

Despite the high-level preparations, the situation of being attacked from all sides was more severe than planned.

Especially Sunagakure, which resolutely launched an attack despite internal strife; this "madman" approach drew curses from many Konoha ninja...

The Konoha ninjas didn't think they had done anything wrong; they believed that bidding low prices for commissions was a "market behavior" and that the Sand Village shouldn't have interfered!

The students of the Ninja Academy naturally heard news of the war, and fortunately, the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, stepped forward at this critical moment and made a promise at the graduation ceremony:

"Konoha was founded to prevent children from experiencing war too early, and the village will not send genin to the battlefield."

"The Will of Fire inherited from the First Hokage must be passed down to the younger generation..."

"..."

The Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, spoke with a smile about the Will of Fire. The graduating youths were deeply moved by the Hokage's promise, and many even felt their blood boil and shouted excitedly:

"Lord Hokage, we are willing to give everything for the village!"

"Kill those invaders!"

"Make those people pay the price!"

The passionate calls for help made some of the Chunin teachers show signs of reluctance. The comfortable life in the school had worn down the edges of most teachers, and they did not want to see the teenagers sacrifice themselves too early.

In this atmosphere, the group of students, around 11 years old, officially graduated. Some of the eager-to-make-a-merit teenagers continued to discuss the war after the graduation ceremony, while others remained silent.

The Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, was quite satisfied with his speech. Back in his office at the academy, seeing several Chunin who seemed hesitant to speak, he chuckled and said:

"Ryosuke, are you worried that the children will be on the battlefield too early? The village hasn't reached that point yet."

"The Jonin team took action last month. With Jiraiya and Orochimaru among them, the conflict will end soon."

Ryosuke Kimura turned to look at his colleague, hesitated for a moment, and finally lowered his head to ask in a deep voice:
