I'm drawing an action-packed anime within a depressing one!

Author: Huo Huo Yao Xiang Huo Huo

Summary:

He Zhou transmigrated into a depressing manga series, becoming an insignificant passerby whom no one cared about.

The overall style of the comic is very depressing.

It's an episodic drama that tells the tragic, bad ending (BE) aesthetic story of four female protagonists who are actually monsters living in a monster city, all revolving around the male protagonist.

He Zhou originally thought that once he arrived in the comic book world, he would just go with the flow.

But unexpectedly.

The author lacks martial ethics; I'm planning to abandon this story!

If a comic book author abandons a project and no one reads it anymore, the comic book world will face its end!

No!

I have to save myself!

One after another, action-packed anime series began to be drawn by He Zhou.

Nezha, Havoc in Heaven, Journey to the West, Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Dragon Ball, One Piece, Bleach, Naruto, etc...

Comic readers were astonished to discover that although the comic itself was terrible, the comics drawn by the character He Zhou were actually quite good!

...

My name is Tian Xiaoxi.

He's a failed comic book artist.

My life suddenly changed one day.

Just when I was thinking of giving up the ending, the cannon fodder character in the comic came to life!

Not only are the published comic plots altered, but the cannon fodder characters in the comics seem to be communicating with her through the plot!

"You dare to leave it unfinished?"

"..."

Tian Xiaoxi originally thought she had gone crazy.

But He Zhou, the cannon fodder character in her comics, actually draws his own comics!

Main text

Chapter 1 is finished! I've transmigrated into the comic book by the author "Old Eunuch"!

Kirishima No. 8 Middle School.

When the new transfer student, Jiang Dai, stood on the podium introducing herself, carrying her schoolbag and wearing a faded school uniform…

Having been here for some time, He Zhou suddenly saw unfamiliar characters in front of him.

So, is this yet another urban fantasy romance anime disguised as a shonen anime, filled with demons and the supernatural?

[Isn't the synopsis a story about a female monster who turns out to be a cow-and-cat, and Lu An, one of the main characters, joining the group of other protagonists to fight against demons?]

[It's probably another clichéd romance with a tragic ending, filled with melodramatic tropes and nonsensical plot points. It feels like it's finished. The author's group chat mentioned the ending is a tragic ending for demons and humans.]

[Boring! Why didn't you just say it was a bad ending? You're crazy! Which shonen anime has a bad ending? You tricked me into watching by listing it as an action anime, I'm not watching.]

Comics?

Cow...cat?

He Zhou stared blankly at the words in front of him, then subconsciously glanced at Jiang Dai, the female protagonist on the podium.

She was wearing a black school uniform, which was very conservative and had a loose fit.

At this moment, she was looking down, and one could only catch a glimpse of her slender, white nape revealed by the collar of her school uniform, as well as her shapely figure.

"Jiang Dai transferred from outside the island, and this is her first time visiting our school."

"From now on, we'll be classmates."

"..."

The others glanced at him, some remaining silent, others leaning back and sighing, "Another person who came with a secret."

"Ha, just as I thought, the sky over Kirishima has never been clear."

...

A manga series with such artistic dialogue?

No wonder the world has felt eerie these days; everyone's conversations are so stilted and pretentious, they don't sound like normal people at all.

There were no evening self-study sessions; classes ended at four or five o'clock every day, and everyone looked lifeless.

Did I somehow end up inside a manga series?

Then, He Zhou suddenly thought of something, and goosebumps rose on his skin, his eyes gradually becoming blank.

and many more.

Could she be a female comic book artist?

Depend on!

The most terrifying thing about female authors' 'shonen' anime is that the fighting power depends entirely on the intensity of their emotions! Whether a character dies or not depends entirely on the author's mood!

Monster city? monster! !

It seems that a student disappeared last week, but... the school said it was because they transferred schools.

He Zhou shuddered when he remembered that the ending was a tragic one for demons and humans.

This is really dangerous!

Where's Lao Tzu's ding?

You go and ding me!

...

Since no one spoke, the teacher adjusted her glasses, glanced around, and her gaze landed on the empty seat next to Lu An: "How about this, Jiang Dai, you can sit here..."

"Sit down next to me!"

He Zhou raised his hand and stood up almost without hesitation, putting on his friendliest smile.

"Teacher, I'd like to sit next to Jiang Dai!"

Is this the female lead?

This is a cat summon!

Although there are special classes for students with special abilities at school, the class I'm in is a regular class!

Just from the comments on the screen, He Zhou had already roughly guessed the direction of the story and his own identity.

In the comic world of an unknown author, he is a glorious NPC who uses his own body!

I don't know how they did it.

After transmigrating, she took over the identity of an NPC who shared the same name and looked exactly like her.

Anyway…

NPCs are not particularly noticeable to begin with.

...

The atmosphere in the classroom fell silent.

moment.

Even the teacher was stumped, but seeing the subtle change in He Zhou's expectant gaze, he seemed to let out a sigh.

"Then please sit down."

"The expectations of young people are truly irresistible."

"..."

A fragrant breeze wafted over from the side, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw that the new student was keeping his head down and not saying a word.

A notification tone suddenly sounded.

[Character popularity increased by 0.0001]

[Character panel is now available.]

Ding!

Before He Zhou could even understand it, he immediately noticed the number 0.0001.

And the following comment: [I still prefer watching action-packed anime. The plot is a bit boring. This NPC is drawn quite cool, but I'm dropping it.]

0.0001.

He remained silent for a few seconds, speechless.

"Does this comic only have one reader? And then it left..."

"Why don't you try changing the plot yourself first?"

He'd read plenty of novels like "I'm the Villain! How Did I Become the Male Lead?!" and "The Heroine of the Comic Book Fell in Love with Me!"

Get it right!

...

Information about myself surfaced.

[Character: He Zhou]

[Identity: NPC]

Item: None

[Ability: None]

[Light trough status: Not lit]

Night Patrolman Level: None

[Character Popularity: 0.0001]

There's also an online store downstairs.

Open the store.

He Zhou was astonished to find a glittering golden item at the very top: [Anywhere Door to Any Real World].

His heart pounded the moment he saw it.

Bang bang bang.

Does this mean that as long as he accumulates enough popularity points, he can freely travel between the comic book world and the real world?

That would be so awesome!

...

You can look down.

His smile froze instantly.

The countless zeros in popularity, combined with the current 0.0001 increase in popularity at a time, will essentially never be enough to reach the required total.

There's even a prerequisite for redemption below.

[Exchange Requirements: You must reach the status of a protagonist in the game to be eligible to exchange.]

"..."

He Zhou wasn't from this world, but he instantly grasped the significance of the character's popularity.
