I'm drawing an action-packed anime within a depressing one!

OH NO! ! !

Song Yaoyao looked up to the sky and howled, "My daily source of happiness is gone!!"

"Didn't we agree to watch the next episode?!"

"Why is the next episode about the Calabash Brothers?!"

"Is the next episode going to be about eunuchs?"

Song Yaoyao thought it was Tian Xiaoxi who cut it again, so she couldn't help but rant and rave for more than a dozen 60 seconds before she felt a little better about not being able to see the Black Cat Sheriff.

...

After she finished spraying, Song Yaoyao wanted to watch Black Cat Detective, but she still flipped to the next page to take a look.

"Huluwa?"

"A hot-blooded anime about seven flowers on one vine, a gourd turning into seven children, and finally a mountain that defeats the monster?"

She couldn't help but smile when she saw He Zhou's conversation with his classmate.

But deep down, I still don't have a good feeling about this story.

"It sounds like a somewhat old-fashioned monster-catching story."

"There are too many stories about catching demons on the market."

Song Yaoyao couldn't help but mutter, "Never mind, I'll take a look first, and then I'll call Tian Xiaoxi later and ask her to continue having He Zhou draw Black Cat Detective."

soon.

A cover illustrated by He Zhou appeared before everyone's eyes.

...

In the picture.

The seven Calabash Brothers stood together, with a Scorpion Demon and a Snake Demon beside them.

The words "Huluwa" are written in large characters in the middle.

The drawing style remains sloppy.

But this time, it was actually colorful.

He used the twelve-color crayons with the fervor of twenty-four colors not being enough, crowding seven children, two monsters, and several green mountains onto a single sheet of paper.

The lines are crooked and twisted.

The color was applied in patches of dark and light.

But for some reason, in the gloomy and rainy style of "Monster City", this childish and almost clumsy color cover is surprisingly bright.

Song Yaoyao was actually a little touched.

Who knows?!

The art style of this NPC will continue to improve!

It seems to be a "raising a child" type of relationship!

Chapter 13 What?! I'm actually inferior to this NPC! (Please read on!)

When Song Yaoyao saw the first chapter and saw that he had actually given her a proper name, she almost spat out the water in her mouth.

[Episode 1 Title: A Miraculous Encounter at the Divine Peak!]

"This NPC is quite funny!"

She muttered to herself as she looked down.

It was drawn on such a crude A4 paper, but this time the lines were obviously not as sloppy as last time; they were more careful.

The content of the first episode is very simple.

An old man gathering herbs on a mountain fell off a cliff while trying to save a bird. He ended up in a magical cave and rescued a pangolin.

The pangolin then told the old man that there was a snake spirit and a scorpion spirit in this place, who had been imprisoned under Calabash Mountain for 9,999 years.

In just one more year, they will turn to ashes.

But he accidentally drilled a hole in the mountain.

Now those two monsters have run away too.

...

Song Yaoyao was speechless when she saw this.

"You know there are two monsters suppressed here, why did you still wander in?"

"Wouldn't it be better to finish the project a year later?"

She continued looking down.

This plot is riddled with bugs!

That familiar art style!

This made her burst out laughing.

The old man went through great lengths to bring back the gourd seeds, but instead of planting them in the soil, he threw them into the rocks.

Fortunately, it was a seed from a magical gourd, and it stubbornly broke through the soil, growing into a long vine in just one second.

Seven gourds grew on the long vine!

The gourd can even move!

It will call out, "Grandpa! Grandpa!"

The seven gourds told Grandpa not to come out of the house, as they had a way to deal with the monster. When Grandpa saw the monster trying to set fire to the vine, he tried to come out to protect the gourd vine, but he was captured by the monster!

Despite her initial complaints, Song Yaoyao couldn't help but worry when she saw this: "I told you not to come out, but you insisted! Now look what happened! You've been arrested!"

The seven gourds that were originally on the vine finally became anxious because their grandfather had been arrested.

He was so anxious that his face was covered in memes.

"grandfather!"

"grandfather!"

"puff……"

Song Yaoyao was drinking water, but when she saw the meme on Hulu's face, she almost spat it out.

Although it's still a simple three-act plot, at least this NPC has started to design character relationships!

This is a huge step forward for the plot!

A nurturing/developmental story!

This is definitely a nurturing/raising system!

...

"Huluwa!!"

"Since it's a child, it has to be cute, endearing, and beautifully drawn! It should be a little fairy child full of spirit, like a crane!"

In reality, when Tian Xiaoxi saw the cover of Calabash Brothers, she almost fainted.

The cover is extremely sloppy!

The art style remains abstract!

The most outrageous thing is those kids! They're clearly children transformed from the divine gourd! Yet they're wearing such ugly, colorful capri pants!!

She forced herself to remain calm, took a sip of iced cola, took a deep breath, and looked on with anticipation.

"The cover is the cover!"

"The main text is the main text!"

"The cover can be rough! The text must be meticulously edited! This NPC borrowed crayons so carefully; he must have wanted to design it seriously!"

Just as she mustered the courage to read the first chapter, a reader sent a message in the group chat.

[Tian Xiaoxi, your art style has changed quite a bit lately, hasn't it?]

Tian Xiaoxi had a bad feeling.

Then I turned the page and looked at the last scene.

It happened to be the scene of Hongwa's birth.

My heart, which had been hanging in suspense, finally died.

...

The child in front of me was wearing a tattered red vest, his head was a simple, square-shaped drawing, and his pants were still those same three-quarter length pants that were the envy of both heaven and man and had absolutely nothing to do with any ethereal beauty!

What angers both heaven and man is this!

There's even a green leaf edge on top!

She was wearing a vest that clearly had no design!

Forget about proportions!

The feet are drawn like duck webbed feet!

Isn't the character supposed to be a fairy child?

The fairy child must be adorable! The modeling must be top-notch! They must exude the aura of an immortal at first glance!

She sighed deeply, and with the air of a skilled comic artist, she earnestly began to redraw a version of the Red Calabash Brothers based on He Zhou's original work.

She muttered to herself as she drew.

"Fairy Child! Of course, you should wear a colorful robe with red accents!"

"His whole body should be surrounded by light, and when he stands there, he should be like a crane!"

"He can go barefoot! But he must have an innocent and adorable smile on his face, like that of a fairy..."

The more she painted, the more satisfied she became.

Rich in color!

The proportions are correct!

The only thing she was unhappy about was that the face was a bit square, and the overall design didn't quite suit her aesthetic.

It's arguably the worst of all her works.

But... well, since this is the first time this NPC has been designed, we should still retain some of the characteristics he designed.

...

Tian Xiaoxi happily posted her drawing in the comic group.

Although there are only about twenty people in the group now, they are mostly readers who follow the comics, and there are also a few struggling fellow comic readers among them.

[Tian Xiaoxi: I'm going to do some serious retouching of Calabash Brothers!]

[Tian Xiaoxi: Giving you the best visual feast!]

The people below were extremely curious, including Song Yaoyao.

[Xiao Liu: What kind of visual feast?]

[Song Yaoyao: Send it to me?]
