"Don't just pounce on people randomly!"
"I don't just pounce on anyone, I only pounce on Cheng Fei!"
"That's enough!"
The two of them, pulling and tugging at each other, took a taxi to a familiar, quiet neighborhood.
As Nagasaki Asuna nestled on the boy's shoulder, two delicate hair ties adorned with red glass beads were presented to her.
"I almost forgot, I just bought it for you on the spur of the moment," Cheng Fei said casually.
……
178. Be wary of jewelry counters in supermarkets.
"Huh?" Nagasaki Asuna took the item with delight and blinked. "When did Cheng Fei buy this?"
"The jewelry display case next to the cashier."
"Won't it be very expensive?" The girl covered her mouth in surprise.
"I was in a rush and didn't notice. How expensive could it be if we paid together? Do you think I'd give it to you for free if it was expensive? Don't be naive." The boy put his hands in his pockets and looked disdainful.
Nagasaki Asuna quickly took out the folded receipts that were long enough to drag on the ground from her bag and began searching carefully.
After a moment, she looked up, somewhat dazed, "A hair tie that costs five thousand yuan?"
"?"
Cheng Fei hesitated for a moment, took the receipt and looked at it. His vision went black and he almost fainted.
"A pair of red agate acacia bean hair ties... 4688 yuan"
"What the heck? I thought I bought too many snacks!" The boy looked shocked, but then decisively said, "I want a refund."
“No way.” Nagasaki Asuna quickly hid the hair tie behind her back. “This agate looks like a cherry, and I really like it.”
"Give it to me!" the boy tried to snatch.
"No way!" The girl shrank back desperately. "How could Cheng Fei do this? He already gave it to me."
"Too expensive, you wish!" The boy grabbed her tightly.
"Cheng Fei, stop pretending! You clearly bought it for me on purpose!" Nagasaki Asuna simply squatted down and curled up into a ball, hiding the hair tie in her bosom.
"Who knew it would be so expensive? I regret it, thank you." Faced with the girl crouching down, the boy hesitated to make a move.
"I'm willing to pay for it, but once it's given to me, it can't be returned!" The girl said firmly, as if she were holding some kind of treasure.
"You're being too extreme, classmate. There's nothing interesting about this."
"I want it!"
"Fine, I give up." The boy had no choice but to let her go.
"It's so pretty! I love cherries the most." Nagasaki Asuna picked up the hair tie, glanced at it, and hid it behind her back as if afraid it would be stolen, extremely vigilant.
"That much money is enough for you to eat cherries until you're sick of them," the boy shook his head and sighed.
"I can't buy my favorite cherries no matter how much money I have." The girl raised her chin.
"What cherries do you have? I can't buy them."
“Cheng Fei knows perfectly well what’s going on in his heart.” Nagasaki Asuna stared at the boy with certainty, as if she could see right through his eyes.
"I don't know." Cheng Fei turned and walked forward. "Fine, five thousand yuan it is. Consider it my money and I'll give it to you."
"Cheng Fei really loves me the most." Nagasaki Asuna pounced on him from behind and gave him a bear hug.
"Love you my foot, this was an accident." The boy irritably pushed her away, seemingly still immersed in pain.
"Tch, Cheng Fei really knows how to play dumb." Nagasaki Asuna curled her lip and took his arm.
"Think what you want, I'm tired," the boy sighed.
The two went upstairs. The heating in Nagasaki Asuna's house was as good as ever. Cheng Fei casually threw his coat on the sofa and went into her room. "Bring the computer case over. Let's finish this quickly and call it a day."
The girl followed behind, silently picked up her coat and hung it behind the coat rack, then followed him into the room with her hands behind her back.
The deep learning model on the computer was being trained. Cheng Fei entered the command to save the model state, shut down the computer, and then crawled under the table to unplug the wires one by one.
After he pulled the computer case out from under the table and turned around, Nagasaki Asuna was squatting beside him with her legs together. Meeting his gaze, the girl turned her head to the side and said, "Is it pretty?"
She tied her hair into pigtails with a hair tie, and on each side were two round and translucent red agate beads that, upon closer inspection, possessed a strange allure, much like the gentle and healing young girl herself.
"Give me the screwdriver." Cheng Fei opened the side panel of the computer case.
"Cheng Fei, really, at least look at me once more," Nagasaki Asuna complained, but obediently handed over the tools.
"I'm sorry, seeing you hurts my heart."
"You love me to this extent?" the girl asked, tilting her head and smiling.
"I worked so hard to earn five thousand yuan." The boy sighed as he tightened a screw.
"Don't be sad, Cheng Fei. Nana will make it up to you," the girl said softly, her sweet voice seeming to hint at something.
"Forget it, I just want my money back."
Why did Cheng Fei remove the graphics card?
"It's too heavy. If it's bumped around on the motherboard, it might cause problems."
"I see." Nagasaki Asuna brought over a fruit platter, picked up a banana, and peeled it.
Where the boy could see, she brushed her bangs aside with one hand, slowly lowered her head, and opened her pink lips.
The boy caught a glimpse of this scene out of the corner of his eye and couldn't help but look up.
The girl, biting into a banana, met his gaze with her clear, innocent eyes.
"Nana, if you're going to eat, just eat, don't make it so weird."
A smile played on Nagasaki Asuna's eyes as she discreetly handed the boy a half-eaten, still-intact banana, saying, "Cheng Fei, you eat first."
"It's all your saliva, it's disgusting." The boy said with a look of disgust.
"Isn't my saliva sweet?" Nagasaki Asuna laughed nonchalantly.
"That's a bit too narcissistic."
"Otherwise, why would Cheng Fei always..."
"Shut up, you idiot!" the boy interrupted rudely.
"Cheng Fei's way of speaking to me is so violent."
"Any objections?"
"No, I feel like I've gotten along even better with Cheng Fei." The girl smiled smugly.
"Your thinking is wrong."
Cheng Fei finished packing his things, clapped his hands, and stood up. Nagasaki Asuna couldn't wait to pounce on him.
"Cheng Fei." The girl buried her face in his chest, only her eyes peeking out as she looked up at him, her tone slightly uneasy, "Nana's lips, want to try them once?"
"What strange things are you saying?"
“Sitting on Nana’s bed, grabbing Nana’s twin tails, it’s okay to be a little rough…” Nagasaki Asuna’s voice was very soft.
"That's enough." The boy's eyelids twitched.
“Cheng Fei bought Nana such a pretty hair tie, so of course Nana has to obediently tie her hair up for Cheng Fei to use…” The girl’s submissive gaze was filled with gentle, limpid eyes.
"I regret buying it for you, thank you."
“Cheng Fei, look, ah~” Nagasaki Asuna tilted her head back, like a patient being examined by a doctor.
"Hmm, the tongue is pale red, with a thin, even white coating. It's round and moves flexibly. The inside of the mouth is pale pink, smooth, and without ulcers. The tonsils are of moderate size. However, there's excessive saliva production, which may indicate a vitamin deficiency." The boy finished speaking seriously and closed the girl's chin.
"Nana doesn't lack vitamins, Nana lacks Cheng Fei." Nagasaki Asuna clung to him relentlessly, "Doesn't Cheng Fei want to be inside...?"
"Give up, it's impossible." The boy said coldly, pushing her away.
"Why?" Nagasaki Asuna stared at him, her eyes filled with confusion.
"Not interested."
"Don't you understand, Cheng Fei? The more you treat me like this, the more I can't live without you," the girl said softly in a muffled voice.
"You're too rebellious."
"Nana is very rebellious," the girl said with a resentful look.
……
179. A Spoiled Girl
"Alright, pack your things, we're leaving soon." Cheng Fei carried the boxed hardware to the living room.
“But it’s still very early.” Nagasaki Asuna bit her lip and followed behind.
"I'll head back now, I'll take a nap." The boy couldn't find his coat on the sofa, and looked at the girl behind him, "Where are my clothes?"
"I've hidden it." Nagasaki Asuna turned her face away in a huff, puffing out one cheek with her hands behind her back.
"Where did you hide it?" the boy asked, staring at her.
"Nana doesn't know!" the girl answered loudly.
"Nana, how childish are you?" Cheng Fei glanced at the coat rack in the corner and saw his own coat behind it.
"Cheng Fei, you can't leave. You're already here." Nagasaki Asuna stood with her arms outstretched, blocking him and the coat rack before he could take a step, her face showing a resolute expression.
"I'll tell you again, I would never do such a thing, understand?" The boy was amused by her actions and pinched her fair cheek.
Nagasaki Asuna squinted her eyes and took the initiative to rub her hand against the boy's palm. Her pretty face, which was always adorned with a bright smile, had the pure and healing quality of a girl next door. Every frown and smile was gentle and lovely, like an angel fallen to earth, beautiful and touching.
“Cheng Fei clearly wants to do it. No one in this world wouldn’t want to do that kind of thing to Nana,” the girl said, clinging to him and tilting her head back.
"Nana, you're having a bit of a paranoia."
"Why don't you do it, Cheng Fei? Nana is right in front of you. No matter how you bully her, she won't fight back." The girl's stubborn murmur was tempting and seductive.
"It's not something you can just do because you want to. The ability to use far-sighted rationality to overcome short-sighted instinct is, in my opinion, the shining point of human wisdom," the boy said earnestly.
"I don't understand." Nagasaki Asuna buried her face in his chest and shook her head.
"Alright, I'm going back." Cheng Fei tried to push her away.
"You're not allowed to leave, that's for sure." The girl clung to the boy and wouldn't let go, showing no restraint whatsoever in front of others. "If Cheng Fei wants to take a nap, he can sleep in Nana's bed."
"What about my luggage? Please tell me." The boy looked down at her speechless face.
"Let's have Miriam's butler come here first, then we'll go to Cheng Fei's house. Anyway, Cheng Fei is all packed up now," Nagasaki Asuna said immediately.
"And then you got caught, right?"
"What do you mean by 'catching packets'? I don't understand. Cheng Fei came here to help me move the computer." The girl reacted quickly.
"That's not OK."
"Why should I? Cheng Fei is being unreasonable."
"You're the one who's being unreasonable."
"Nana isn't being unreasonable. Nana is clearly very obedient. She's gotten along well with Shen Xi and even helped Ye Shuang get closer to her. What's Nana's reward?" Nagasaki Asuna complained in a spoiled tone.
"The reward is in your hair, five thousand dollars."
“That’s not enough. Nana’s performance yesterday was so disgusting, she was practically dying. She’s been hoping Cheng Fei would comfort her. If Cheng Fei doesn’t take care of her, Nana will become depressed, and she might even commit suicide next time,” Nagasaki Asuna said with certainty.
"So you're resorting to threats now, aren't you?"
"There is no threat at all. This is the truth. If Cheng Fei wants to become a murderer, then he can just abandon Nana."
