"Then, as a ritual of reconciliation, shall we embrace again?" the boy smiled at her.

The girl glanced at him out of the corner of her eye, then looked away, her stubborn pink lips tightly closed, and slowly leaned down to hug him again.

"So all that was for eating tiramisu? How adorable." The boy sighed and muttered to himself.

"What did you say?" the girl asked coldly.

"It's nothing, I love you, Shen Xi." The boy hugged her tightly, pressing their bodies together.

"Sweet talk trash." The girl subconsciously took a breath, trembling violently, but managed to stay still.

"So we can go now? Nana must have been waiting for quite a while." The boy patted the back of her head.

"Even while holding me, you still only want to leave, Cheng Fei. You're really attached to that vixen now." The girl hugged him even tighter and sneered.

The boy sensed the perfect fit between the two and hesitated for a moment, "Is it possible that I don't have to leave?"

"Who are you asking?" the girl asked in a muffled voice, seemingly displeased.

"Ask the cutest princess in the multiverse?" The boy placed his palm on her lower back and tried to move it down.

"Trash, I'll barely allow it since you're at least somewhat sincere," the girl said in a low voice.

"What about Nana?" the boy thought for a moment.

"Still thinking about her?!" The girl suddenly became annoyed.

"You're wrong." The boy quickly hugged the girl tightly, making sure she didn't change her mind. He began to feel her plumpness and realized that Nagasaki Asuna was right. Apart from their chests, their sizes were actually quite similar.

Shen Xi noticed the boy's actions, took a deep breath, and remained silent, her expression completely hidden by her thick, dark hair.

"Teacher Shen, you're getting worse and worse. You told Nana not to interfere with the project, but she came here secretly to do this?" The boy finally understood what she was thinking.

"Shut up. Cheng Feiyu himself said it won't have any impact. He's just giving the vixen a taste of her own medicine." The girl sneered, with a sense of revenge in her voice.

The boy thought about it and decided it was better not to make any comments.

"Trash, so what do you want this time?" The girl raised her head and looked down at him. Her beautiful but cold face showed a hint of disgust. Only upon closer inspection could one notice that her earlobe, hidden in her hair, had been stained with blood.

"How about this?" The boy hesitated for a second, then stood up and let her sit sideways in his lap. Her long, slender, white legs were half-curled up under her short skirt, revealing some small, soft flesh encased in white socks.

My condition is similar to the last time I was at the love hotel.

"Not again, disgusting. Do you really like my legs that much?" Shen Xi frowned slightly, lost in thought, and took a deep breath.

"Little cutie, this is your problem. Please reflect on it." The boy put his arm around her shoulder and admired the beautiful little face in his arms up close.

"Nonsense." The girl obediently nestled against his shoulder, adjusted her posture, her rounded and delicate knees pressed tightly together, her brows furrowed, as if she had an urge to escape immediately.

Then, Shen Xi turned her head and buried her face in the boy's chest, so that he could not see her expression, allowing him to use her delicate and beautiful artwork.

A moment later, the girl's voice, barely audible, spoke, "Trash, do you want to see... Snow Rabbit?"

The boy paused for a second, then swallowed hard. "How could I not want to?"

"Disgusting, filthy, beyond redemption." The girl muttered a few curses under her breath, took a deep breath, and slowly placed her trembling hands on either side of her head, raising her index and middle fingers.

And so the aloof girl with her face buried in her hands swayed with the waves once more, her erect ears remaining firmly in place no matter how she moved.

925. Cheng Fei's past acquaintances

Nagasaki Asuna changed her clothes, lay back on the edge of the bed, and while waiting for the two people over there, she hummed a song while looking at the ceiling, her calves dangling off the edge of the bed.

After a while, she turned her head to look at the alarm clock on the bedside table and blinked.

"Huh, that's strange."

In the secluded manor of South Bay, Lin Xuanqi opened her eyes with fluttering eyelashes. After remaining motionless for a moment, she reached her hand under the covers, making a rustling sound. Then, she brought it to her eyes, twirling her fingertips together, and a few reflections flashed in the air.

She picked up her phone and opened WeChat.

"I'd like to have a serious talk with you. Let's set a time."

The message remained unanswered until last night, and there has still been no response from the other side.

The girl sighed softly, placed the back of her hand on her forehead, and gazed absently at the scenery outside the window.

……

The air in the rented room was unusually quiet.

The aloof girl, with her hands held upright on either side of her head, nestled against the boy's chest, burying her face in his chest and letting him hold her slender body tightly.

This situation continued for an unknown amount of time. The girl's knees, which had been tightly pressed together, twitched slightly, and she mumbled as if complaining, "Trash, how much longer is this going to happen?"

"If I could, I'd want to do this for a lifetime." The young man gently caressed her delicate, beautiful, and voluptuous works of art, holding her even tighter, as if trying to meld her into himself.

"Nonsense. Stop when you're satisfied. Keep going like this... Yukito is having a hard time. My arms are sore, my legs are weak, and I feel nauseous." The girl's tone was filled with undisguised disgust, but her small hands, which were held up on either side of her head, remained motionless, as if she would keep going until the boy announced the end, giving off a sense of self-compulsion.

"I understand, Your Highness, you've worked hard. Let's stop here." The young man smiled and leaned closer, kissing her forehead through her slightly messy bangs.

The girl's hands immediately fell limply to her sides, her flat chest heaving slightly, as if simply leaning against the boy in this position was already a huge drain on her energy.

After finally catching her breath, the girl carefully left the boy's embrace to clean up the mess.

Through her dark hair, the boy could see that her delicate face remained as cold as ice. She squinted as she cleaned, her brows slightly furrowed, her expression serious.

Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed the boy staring at her. She tilted her head and glared at him, but her expression was soft and lacked any of her usual fierceness. She turned back, her eyes flickered, and then she lowered her gaze to continue what she was doing.

When the bright sunlight streamed in through the window, you could see her thick eyelashes and the dust in the air reflecting a faint glow.

After washing her hands with the tap turned up to the maximum in the bathroom, Shen Xi breathed a sigh of relief, her heavy brows relaxing as if a great weight had been lifted from her shoulders.

The boy next to her, hands in his pockets, watched her with great interest.

"I can't understand Cheng Feiyu's thought process. Does he expect me to be watched no matter what I do?" The girl gritted her teeth and glared at him.

"If anyone's to blame, it's Teacher Shen. She's just so adorable no matter what she does," the boy nodded to himself.

"Shut up and hurry up." The girl's small feet in slippers kicked him without any politeness.

The two of them took what they needed and left the rented house.

On the way to the other side of the road, Cheng Fei still held Shen Xi's little hand, observing her beautiful yet cold face.

The girl glanced at him, raised her chin, and looked straight ahead. "What are you going to say now?"

"Nothing, it's just that I feel Teacher Shen is becoming more and more proficient in everything, which is also very cute." The boy looked her up and down.

On the surface, the cool and aloof girl with long, dark hair looked no different from usual, making it hard to imagine what her long, white legs under her skirt had just done.

"You're slandering me again. Let me make it clear that I'm just trying to satisfy you because of the current situation. Nobody here is skilled at doing those kinds of dirty things. If you really like me, then straighten out your attitude and treat our relationship with sincerity in the future." The girl subtly turned her face away, leaving him with a cool, soft cheek.

"As expected of Teacher Shen, he never forgets to give me a good talking-to. Don't worry, I won't let you down in the future." The boy smiled and nodded.

"Cheng Feiyu, who is always cunning and deceitful, should be constantly reminded of his ways." The girl responded briefly, then shut her mouth and remained silent.

Soon, the two opened the door to the thirty-sixth floor.

Asuna Nagasaki was already standing in the entryway with her hands behind her back. This time, instead of greeting them with a smile as usual, she frowned and stared at the two of them with a look of apprehension.

"Sorry to keep you waiting. Teacher Shen just said she wanted to eat tiramisu, so I also bought you a matcha roll." Cheng Fei held up the bag in his hand and shook it.

In reality, the boy had Shen Xi wait by the roadside while he used his teleportation speed to the bakery at the intersection to buy the food.

Shen Xi responded with a cold laugh, calling it a typical case of someone who, feeling guilty, offers unsolicited favors and confesses without being asked.

Asuna Nagasaki glanced at the boy, showing no sign of relaxing, her eyes fixed on Shen Xi, her small nostrils twitching slightly. "Thank you, Master, but the cat has already smelled it."

"What do you smell?" The boy subconsciously glanced at the legs of the aloof girl beside him.

Shen Xi changed her shoes without a word, her face expressionless.

"The smell of a lie." Nagasaki Asuna said with certainty.

"Nana, how about we try turning off the phased array radar occasionally?" the boy coughed.

"Shen Xi is so cunning, she actually made me come back so I could go and have my own affair." She turned to the aloof girl, her expression resentful.

"Stop talking nonsense, you vixen, get online now." Shen Xi scoffed, ignored her, and went straight back to her room.

"Cheng Fei, look at her!" Nagasaki Asuna's eyes widened slightly, as if she couldn't accept it.

"Idiot, are you having another episode?" The boy pinched her soft cheek.

"But only the cat ever steals food, how could she do this?" The girl felt wronged, and tears welled up in her clear, bright eyes.

"Tsk, landmine girl, tone it down, I'll deal with you tonight." The boy grabbed her cheek and shook her.

"Ugh...!" The girl wanted to say something, but the boy leaned in and silenced her. Her eyes widened suddenly, and her tearful eyes slowly closed. She melted like ice cream in the sunlight.

……

After that, as per Shen Xi's request, the Corridor Research Department went online as usual.

"Shen Xi, you're going too far! I'm not taking any of your orders today!"

"Miss Nagasaki, what's wrong?"

"Shen Xi did something very hurtful to me..."

"Poor Nagasaki-san, I knew she wasn't a good person!"

"You vixen, if you dare to put on that act again, don't blame me for being impolite!"

Even though we are in such a chaotic situation.

As before, following the operational plan of the major guilds, the Corridor Research Department joined a mixed team composed of multiple guilds and arrived at the depths of the third underground level.

Facing the deep underground world, a tall male player holding a sword and shield, with a serious expression, stood in front of everyone and spoke in a strong voice, "Let me emphasize again, I am in command of this operation. Everyone must follow the arrangements. I do not like unnecessary casualties."

"Wow, he's so serious. By the way, there's a cross drawn on his shield. Is he a paladin?" Zhou Han exclaimed in a monotone tone.

Miriam stood beside him excitedly, "Miss Zhou Han, it's said that he's the most powerful tank player in the entire Corridor. That shield is incredibly strong; when it's deployed, it becomes a large-area light shield, and it's currently the only one of its kind in the entire server."

Shen Xi glanced at the player giving the pre-battle speech, then lowered her eyes, losing interest. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed the boy beside her, half a step behind, seemingly hiding behind her. Her delicate brows furrowed slightly. "Trash, do you have to be so sneaky?"

"Teacher Shen, I didn't want to either. Have you forgotten that some of the people who chased us down last time were from their guild? I definitely need to keep a low profile so they don't come after me again." Cheng Fei slightly opened the hood of his cloak, then quickly pulled it down again.

"You reap what you sow." Shen Xi turned her face away with disgust, not wanting to talk to him anymore.

"Cheng Fei, Cheng Fei, is their guild really that powerful? Why are you so afraid?" Zhou Han asked curiously, her round eyes darting around.

"More than powerful, the Starry Sky Guild is one of the strongest guilds in the entire server, filled with game addicts." The boy's tone was serious.

If it's somewhat understandable that the foundation's staff spend all their time playing games, then those who simply enjoy playing games are the kind of people that a realist teenager would despise the most.

"Oh, I see. But don't be afraid. If someone really tries to get revenge on you, we'll protect you." Zhou Han nodded to show she understood, then tiptoed and gently patted the boy's head, her smiling face giving off the feeling of a young mother comforting a child who had been bullied at school.

Then, the next second, the petite girl noticed something and her expression changed. Her eyes darted around behind the boy, "Oh no, that paladin seems to be coming towards you."

Ruan Jingyi looked at her best friend, opened her mouth, but remained silent.

Meanwhile, the player who gave the pre-battle speech finished explaining the precautions and led the team toward the objective of this operation, while he himself walked toward the Corridor Research Department.

His character is an adult man with thick eyebrows and big eyes, wearing heavy equipment, with a straight back and a serious demeanor.

The other person approached the cloaked youth, stared at him, and frowned. "2887, or Cheng Fei, long time no see."

"It's true that I've recently started using my real name online, but could you please not call me by my name, Big Whale?" The boy smirked and subtly reached for his black longsword.

Players can freely engage in PvP in the wild. If it weren't for the agreement in the war council not to mess around during the cooperative phase of conquering the large portal, Cheng Fei would never have dared to bring the Corridor Research Department to participate in the operation.

The tall man known as the Great Whale noticed his actions and a faint smile appeared on his lips. "Don't worry, I wouldn't break the rules I set for myself. Besides, so much time has passed, I have no interest in keeping up the score."

As one of the strongest guilds in the Corridor, the Starry Sky Guild is also the organizer of the battle council.

"Really? Actually, I believe you too. Out of so many people back then, you were the most honest." The boy nodded seriously and temporarily lowered his weapon.

The giant whale remained noncommittal, then turned to glance at the boy's companion. "You've actually formed a guild too. Are you planning to openly participate in the war this time?"

The young man sighed and nodded. "I was too naive before. Now I don't want to do things that make people hate me. To be honest, you've always been my role model. You manage the guild so well, and you always lead from the front in battle. Everyone trusts you, and I admire you a lot."

"It's great that you have this kind of awareness. Keep it up. I hope I won't hear about your team wiping out anytime soon. Also, I heard your guild's healer is really good. Go ahead and do your best later." The big whale's expression remained unchanged.

"Don't worry," the boy said seriously.

Seeing this, the tall male player nodded, said nothing more, and turned to leave.

Watching the other person's retreating figure, Shen Xi spoke coldly and expressionlessly, "Vixen, was what that scoundrel said true or false?"

"I don't know." Nagasaki Asuna puffed out her cheek, gave a soft snort, and turned her face away.
