Infinite: Starting from Infiltrating Other Spaces

This—this has overturned the Hunter's Guild's understanding!

Humans became the dominant species in the region, and their status was recognized by the ancient dragons!

This has never happened before........

The observer suddenly stopped. Could his partner really be some kind of humanoid ancient dragon?

Even hunters capable of fighting ancient dragons rely on hunting skills and never engage in direct confrontation...

But... then again, what's the point of whether it's Gu Long or not?

The important thing is that your companions still recognize themselves as human and identify with the Hunter's Guild; that's enough.

"Black Charcoal, let's go quickly! This is excellent research data, oh my god, Steel Dragon!"

The observer, remembering his duty, became even more excited. This was a Steel Dragon; the Hunter's Guild only had a record of defeating it.

There has never been a record of hunting it!

.............

Li Xia struggled to pull out the spear, feeling limp all over, as if all his strength had been drained, the aftershocks of the collision, and his true qi—

This was the first time he had poured all his true qi into the spear to kill the enemy; previously, he had only poured in 10 points.

Of course, the effect was also amazing. 312 points of true qi caused more than 1,700 true injuries, exceeding the steel dragon head's tolerance limit.

However, after the true qi was completely emptied, the whole person felt like cotton, and an unprecedented sense of weakness enveloped the body.

It seems I'll need to conserve some of my true qi in the future...

After struggling to pull out the spear, he found that Night Silence was as firm as a nail.

He simply stopped trying to pull it out, and sat on the cold metal shell of the steel dragon, leaning against his long spear, took out his pipe, and lit it with his slightly trembling fingers.

Wisps of smoke rose, and health points began to slowly recover.

That collision just now took away more than 30% of its health—at least half of which was the supercompression storm that the Steel Dragon instinctively unleashed before it died.

Suddenly, a continuous roar erupted from all around. Li Xia's heart tightened, and he instinctively gripped his spear.

Then a notification from the Hall of Light popped up:

[Executioner, due to the unspoken conventions of this world's Elder Dragons, you have defeated and killed the Kushala Daora in battle.]

You have become the overlord of the Elder's Recess mountains in this world.

Teostra has acknowledged your place over Kushala Daora.

[Lunastra acknowledges your place over Kushala Daora]

Nergigante has acknowledged your place as the replacement of Kushala Daora.

Azure Rathalos...

Elder dragons will not set foot on the mountain peaks. Entering other Elder Dragon territories will be considered a provocation and will result in a territorial battle.

[Hunter Guild's Status Rise!]

The Second Research Lab will grant you access to a wider equipment list!

Li Xia stopped puffing on his pipe and stared at the prompt in astonishment.

???

What do you mean?

I've become the regional overlord of the Crystal Land of Dragons?!

Other Gu Long authors have also admitted to this?

1. Monthly pass 2. Recommendation vote

On the second day of the Lunar New Year, I was supposed to go back to my wife's parents' home... I went with her. There are so many things to do during the New Year... I quickly wrote this down and posted it during a spare moment, and I didn't get back until late at night.

I also need to take my mother-in-law to see a movie, Nezha 2...

Chapter 91 Customized Equipment! Hunter's Guild Rewards

Li Xia became interested, puffed on his pipe, and searched for clues.

However, it was discovered that the title of "regional overlord" was a status designation, essentially referring to the territory agreed upon between ancient dragons.

Furthermore, it acknowledged Li Xia's rank within the ecological niche—replacing Steel Dragon and holding the position of an eight-star Elder Dragon within the ecological niche.

In the Elder Dragon's Recess, other Elder Dragons will not easily venture to the mountains they 'own'.

Correspondingly, one cannot arbitrarily go to the locations of other Elder Dragons, as this would be seen as a provocation and a territorial dispute.

Li Xia shook his head. Hunt other ancient dragons?

He no longer had the energy to hunt, and he had less than five days left to stay. He needed to save at least half a day to wrap things up.

The injury wasn't very serious, but all of my vital energy has been depleted, and I'll need another day to recover.

Furthermore, the secrets of this world have not yet been explored, and this will take time.

I don't have the energy to hunt Elder Dragons...

Most importantly, there are very few creatures like Steel Dragon that have lived for hundreds of years but have little combat experience.

It's mainly because it's too hard, so hard that other ancient dragons don't bother fighting it.

Let's leave aside Nergigante. Teostra looks powerful, but it requires mating; you have to defeat Lunastra first...

The main habitat of the Ice Dragon is the Ice Plains, where powerful creatures gather and battles take place daily.

We can't fight them, we can't fight them at all!

A stream of light emanated from the still night and reformed into a howl beside Li Xia.

It looked down at the massive dragon corpse gleaming with metallic luster and sighed:

"This Steel Dragon... if it could fix its weaknesses, it would probably be at least one of the top beings in this world. What a pity."

When Aowu is possessed, he can vaguely perceive information from the outside world, but he can only perceive it and cannot even think about it. He can only recall what he perceived when he is released from possession.

Li Xia and Aowu discussed it and guessed that it might be due to the activation of Night Silence.

"Hmm, it's too weak."

Therefore, no matter how talented you are, you still need to study hard and practice diligently to turn your talent into strength.

Li Xia suddenly remembered something and turned to ask, "Awoo, does the strategy guide mention anything about defeating an ancient dragon to become the regional overlord?"

"No!" Awoo had already memorized the strategy guide perfectly, and shook his head.

"The guide mentions that the first Elder Dragon hunt will reward you with a material chest, but it doesn't mention anything about regional overlords."

No? Li Xia frowned. With Steel Dragon's pathetic combat intelligence, as long as you can break through its head defense and its movement is a bit more agile, killing it shouldn't be too difficult.

It's been almost a decade since the Monster Hunter spin-off world was first created by the Hall of Fame; it shouldn't be like this...

"Your Highness, the guide mentions that they hunted Elder Dragons, but it was always in small groups, and they fought Velkhana and Teostra."

Li Xia remained silent for a while. Apart from the ordinary Qilin, which was a "disgrace to the ancient dragons", the easiest ones to bully were indeed the Ice Curse Dragon and the Flame King Dragon.

These two hunter guilds have very special items: cold drinks and hot drinks, which are quite expensive but can provide temporary protection against heat and cold.

The duration is approximately five minutes. In particular, for Teostra, as long as its wife, Lunastra, is not around, drinking the cold drink can reduce the threat of Teostra by more than half.

But if this couple were together...

This would create a team-wiping technique: Nuclear Explosion!

Li Xia's mood suddenly brightened; accomplishing what no one had done before was, after all, something to be happy about.

..............

After a few seconds of sighing, Aowu flew over to Black Charcoal's side, its eyes shining, and joined Black Charcoal and the observer in the exciting collection process.

The steel dragon's hide was exceptionally tough, but after it died and lost its bodily nourishment, the hide began to loosen.

It's not as sturdy as it was when it was alive, and with the guild's specially made skinning knife, it's difficult, but not impossible.

You have obtained the Upper Scale of the Steel Dragon.

You have obtained the Steel Dragon Wings

You have obtained the Steel Dragon's Claws.

You have obtained the Steel Dragon's Horn.

........

Li Xia took out a piece of steel dragon scales from his spatial storage.

This silvery-white dragon scale is about the size of a palm. Upon closer inspection, its surface appears to flow subtly and shimmers in the sunlight.

It feels heavy in your hand, with a very good texture; you could even call it a fine work of art.

More importantly, its attributes are also quite outstanding.

【The Upper Scales of the Steel Dragon】

[Quality: Purple (Tier 2)]

[Origin: Monster Hunter World - Elder's Recess]

[Type: Rare Materials/Minerals/Active Metals]

[Comment: The scales of the Steel Dragon, a metal with a certain degree of activity, are a miracle born of life, a treasure that could never be created in a laboratory... perhaps?]

Unfortunately, no gem of the Steel Dragon was found. Li Xia put away the materials, feeling somewhat regretful.

This Steel Dragon is too weak; it's young and hasn't experienced much combat.

The precious jade is a treasure that was nurtured over time by the highly active natural energy within the ancient dragon's body.

Li Xia pondered for a while. If he obtained the Steel Dragon's gem and integrated it into his spear, he would most likely gain the ability to control the wind.

Thunder and wind... seem to go quite well together.

I put down my pipe, about to end with the thought that life isn't always perfect, when I suddenly heard a howling sound in the team chat:

“Oh, Your Highness, take a look at this material.”

Ok?

【The Steel Dragon's Sharp Horns】

[Quality: Purple (Tier 2)]

[Origin: Monster Hunter World - Elder's Recess]

[Type: Rare Materials/Minerals/Organs]

[Evaluation: The Steel Dragon has six feather-like sharp horns that are tightly attached to its head. The Steel Dragon manipulates the power of wind through the resonance of these six sharp horns. Although it cannot compare to the Jewel, it still has a certain degree of wind control effect.]

Li Xia raised his eyebrows, a thoughtful expression on his face.

No wonder... the head of the Steel Dragon is a weak point; attacking the head reduces its wind control ability.

It's likely that the steel dragon uses a special ability within its body to cause changes in the wind field, with its sharp corners amplifying and expanding the range of the wind.

The joy of accident!

After a while, the observer closed the notebook with satisfaction, having written down all the relevant information about the steel dragon.

She exudes a peculiar confidence, and Abbott has a feeling that she will become a legendary observer in the future.

Your own handbook will become an essential book for every observer!

It all started that afternoon when Alvin dragged me here in a daze.

"Hey—this is your observer!"

Aibo looked up; the sunlight was a bit dazzling, just like that afternoon when she shielded her forehead with her hand as she looked at the figure sitting on the steel dragon.

"Friend! Should we go back?"

Li Xia slowly stood up, about to speak, when she suddenly remembered something:

"No! Send a message to the guild! Briefly explain what's going on here—"
