Behind the Yellow-Eyebrowed Boy, a Buddha and Bodhisattva images slowly emerged from the intense and pure Buddhist light. Each of these images walked to the side of the Future Buddha, receiving blessings from Buddhist light of various colors, and various forms of wisdom and supernatural powers flowed.

The Future Buddha spoke calmly.

"If I don't go to hell, who will?!"

Behind the Future Buddha, illusory figures radiating Buddha light spoke. Lu

"If I don't go to hell, who will?!"

"If I don't go to hell, who will?!"

The small area of hell that Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva brought to Little Yama is beginning to be transformed by the Buddha's light. This is also the great vow Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva made when he descended to the underworld: "I will not become a Buddha until hell is empty."

The goal is to use boundless Buddhist teachings to liberate every inch of the underworld. This task of liberating the underworld is now being carried out by the Buddhas of Vulture Peak, led by the Future Buddha, while Ksitigarbha himself begins to consolidate the underworld's territory. Even Ksitigarbha, with his vast experience, cannot help but contemplate the impermanence of all things and phenomena. II

Blood gushed from the seven orifices of Little Yama's head as if it were free. Ever since Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva transformed a corner of the underworld for Little Yama, Little Yama had been under the most pressure of everyone. One Future Buddha was already enough to make Little Yama's scalp tingle, and now a bunch of Buddhas from Mount Ling with a reality level of over 50% had appeared.

Little Yama felt as if Lilim was sitting on him, and all the fluids in his body were gushing out. (The concubine)

This was a bit frightening, so Wenquxing couldn't help but abandon writing a proclamation for Maitreya Buddha and instead wrote a sycophantic eulogy for Little Yama. In the current environment of conflict between gods and humans, Wenquxing, who wasn't good at direct combat, could only play a supporting role.

The only problem is that Wenquxing's support abilities don't seem to be enough; this inscription only slowed down the bleeding of Little Yama, as Ksitigarbha, who was supporting Little Yama from behind, sighed.

"Esteemed benefactors, the rest is up to you now."

Ksitigarbha clasped his hands together, and the Buddha light on his body shattered. The shattered Buddha light inch by inch blessed this area of the underworld, and the Yin energy immediately became noisy and chaotic. The strong Yin wind suppressed the Buddha's voice on the side of the Future Buddha opposite him.

But this is Ksitigarbha's last gamble. At most, he will die after five breaths due to the shattering of his Dharma body and the exhaustion of his Buddha-light.

The extremely weak Little Yama patted Zhou Yan's head listlessly.

"Xiao Yan, fight with all your might! If you don't fight with all your might, you won't even have the right to fight!"

Without saying a word, Zhou Yan sprinted towards the blond boy at top speed, using the giant claws as his foot.

Zhou Yan tested the Eye of the Future Buddha with his Extreme Eye, but the Eye of the Future Buddha could only last for 0.002 seconds, which was considered useless. However, the yellow-haired boy behind Maitreya Buddha was not so powerful. Zhou Yan's Eye of the Future Buddha could last for half a minute on him.

Coincidentally, the urn containing the fragments of the Medicine Buddha's body was in the hands of this blond-haired boy.

Chapter Twenty-Six: Disappointment

"Amitabha……"

The future Buddha, who was suppressed by the Little Yama King with his power as the second-in-command of the underworld, turned his head slightly, and his pair of Buddha eyes, which saw through the vicissitudes of the world and reached the essence of Buddhahood, fixed on Zhou Yan.

Maitreya Buddha had met Bai Ze in the past and knew that Bai Ze was not subject to any illusions or dreams. However, what Maitreya Buddha gave Zhou Yan was not some dream or illusion, but the real and true Dharma of Buddhism. Moreover, he directly pointed out the Buddha-nature and asked Zhou Yan to comprehend it.

However, this method can only be used once. Zhou Yan had already been captivated by this Buddhist teaching once before, and he was well prepared for the second time. The young man ignored the numerous top-level Buddhist teachings that directly pointed to his heart that appeared in his mind, and only ran towards the blond-haired disciple behind Maitreya Buddha.

The blond-haired disciple smiled faintly and tilted his head to ask.

"Do you think that once you're on my side, you've already won?"

The blond-haired disciple grinned.

"I am, after all, a legitimate Bodhisattva..."

The yellow-haired disciple is a direct disciple of the future Buddha. In terms of cultivation and magical power alone, he is quite remarkable in Mount Ling and is definitely not someone who can be easily defeated.

Zhou Yan stared at the blond-haired disciple for a while and realized that his chances of winning against this disciple were less than 5%, while his chances of escaping were 100%. However, in the current environment, the option of escaping was practically grayed out and could not be chosen.

So, the previously disappeared Guanyin Bodhisattva emerged from a corner where no one was paying attention. This great Bodhisattva was also a ruthless character who didn't speak. She simply looked at the disciple of the future Buddha, the Yellow-Eyebrowed Boy, who also had the cultivation of a Bodhisattva, with her pair of bright, clear eyes.

Yellow-Eyebrowed Boy was stunned.

This disciple of the future Nine Buddhas swore that he had never seen such beautiful eyes as Guanyin Bodhisattva. These three eyes were full of affection, shyness and teasing, ambiguity and temptation. Huangmei Boy had already cultivated his Buddhist practice to the point of emptiness of the four elements, but when he saw Guanyin's eyes, he couldn't help but have many scenes of love between men and women and the ultimate bliss of human relationships.

Guanyin was once a person who, in order to save mortals, was willing to walk in the world in the form of an extremely beautiful woman, delivering firecrackers every day, and then her beauty turned into withered bones.

In terms of bewitching arts alone, Guanyin, who has thoroughly understood that form is emptiness, is probably much stronger than the Heavenly Demoness.

This young boy's spiritual cultivation was ultimately insufficient. Upon being looked at by Guanyin, he immediately succumbed to lustful fantasies and could not extricate himself.

Zhou Yan had already reached within a meter of the yellow-haired boy. The yellow-haired boy's face shifted between joy, ecstasy, weeping, and sorrow. His eyes were empty, completely absorbed in his dream, his magical powers and abilities gone.

However, the fact that the Yellow-Haired Boy possesses magical powers does not mean that he is powerless to resist.

The clothes in the blond-haired boy's arms trembled a few times, and then a golden cymbal flew out from his arms.

It was the very same magical treasure of Maitreya Buddha that could subdue Sun Wukong, summon the Twenty-Eight Constellations, and was impervious to all kinds of gods and immortals—the Hunjin Jinnao.

The fact that the Yellow-Eyebrowed Boy could possess the last fragment of the Medicine Buddha's body naturally indicates that he had a powerful background. Whether it was the Human Seed Bag or the Golden Bell, both were super artifacts capable of subduing all kinds of gods, and even someone as strong as Sun Wukong had to suffer a defeat at their hands.

In addition, given the Yellow-Eyebrowed Boy's own cultivation level, even Maitreya Buddha himself would have to expend considerable effort to subdue his disciple.

Seeing the Hunjin Golden Bell flying towards him, Wenquxing took a deep breath and said.

"Young sir, I'll take my leave now!"

Zhong Wenquxing decided to self-destruct his Dharma body to see if he could stop the Hunjin Jinnao from coming. He didn't even need to make the Hunjin Jinnao retreat; as long as he could make the Hunjin Jinnao hesitate for even a second, Zhou Yan would have time to retrieve the Medicine Buddha's urn from Huangmei Tongzi's hands.

Zhou Yan responded instead.

:"Need not."

Zhou Yan tore open his little world and took out the green lamp in front of the Buddha.

Any trump card or secret weapon will lose 80% of its effectiveness if revealed prematurely. Therefore, no matter how many desperate situations Zhou Yan encountered, he always held back his trump cards as long as he was not in a situation where there was no way out or retreat.

And now, this is the final moment of this battle.

Lu Zhouyan revealed his true intentions.

The single flame on the green lamp in front of the Buddha, which Zhou Yan had pulled out, trembled slightly, and the Buddha inside the flame, with his hands clasped together, softly chanted.

"Amitabha……"

Qi flew towards Zhou Yan, and was sure to capture that white-haired scoundrel Zhou Yan and give him a good beating.

The Buddha's current power of Dharma has suppressed this golden cymbal. In terms of status and position, the green lamp before the Buddha is much stronger than the golden cymbal.

Zhou Yan was only one meter away from Huang Mei Tong Zi, close enough that he could touch the urn with a mere stretch of his claws.

But just as Zhou Yan reached out his paw to touch the urn, a chubby, white, translucent hand reached out from behind the Yellow-Eyebrowed Boy and grabbed his little paw.

A Maitreya Buddha, bathed in a halo of light, emerged.

The three sides are missing one.

In military strategy, it is believed that a desperate army will surely win. Therefore, when besieging and killing the enemy, it is essential to leave them a way out.

This yellow-browed boy was the way out that Maitreya Buddha left for Zhou Yan and the others.

What we want is for Zhou Yan and the others to frantically and recklessly approach Huangmei Tongzi, only to be subdued by Huangmei Tongzi's Human Seed Bag and Hunjin Jinnao. Even if the Human Seed Bag and Hunjin Jinnao cannot subdue them, the Future Buddha still has a final means.

That is, the Buddha's birthday is yet to come.

As the embodiment of the future, the Future Buddha can summon his future self. Although this supernatural power has great limitations, it can be used to crush the enemy's last hope when needed, just like it is now.

The strategy of surrounding three sides while leaving one open is never about leaving a way out for others, but rather about wiping out the enemy's forces more effectively and easily.

Seeing this, Guanyin, who was not far away, also took a step and, in the instant that the future Buddha summoned his future self with the Buddha's birth and grabbed Zhou Yan's claws, ran in front of Huangmei Boy. A fair and delicate hand, as if it contained all the beauty in the world, reached out and grabbed the urn containing the remains of Medicine Buddha.

Maitreya Buddha, who appeared before the Buddha's birthday, slightly turned his head and reached out his free hand to grab Guanyin's hand. Two beams of Buddha light intersected, and Guanyin's Buddha light was quickly suppressed by Maitreya Buddha. Maitreya Buddha grabbed Guanyin's hand and said compassionately.

"Esteemed benefactors, you are all deluded by worldly desires, your Buddha-nature is impure, and your Buddha-heart is burdened. This humble monk will help you..."

The little Yama King above Zhou Yan's head looked with difficulty at the newly appeared second Future Buddha in front of him.

With the power of the underworld and the sacrifice of Ksitigarbha, Little Yama was already struggling to suppress one future Buddha, and now another one has arrived.

Little Yama really didn't have the strength to suppress this newly emerged BOSS.

Wenquxing wanted to make a move, but as a true god who wasn't primarily focused on combat, he had no better way to assist at this point than secretly writing a proclamation against the traitors.

Wenquxing felt very frustrated. If he were to fight to the death now, he might not be able to cause much harm to the future Buddha. Only if he survived could he find a glimmer of hope. After thinking it over rationally, Wenquxing suddenly realized that doing nothing was probably the best thing for him right now.

Although from an emotional perspective, it is somewhat shameful and painful to do nothing because of weakness.

Zhou Yan gave a soft chuckle.

When Zhou Yan came to retrieve the body parts containing the Medicine Buddha, he had already checked the success rate. Relying solely on Guanyin and himself, the success rate was less than 5%.

Zhou Yan, who was able to simulate the future infinitely, eventually found a solution through countless trials and errors.

Zhou Yan erased all the keywords that the Great Evolution Divine Power had added to him, and then added three words: "Nine-Colored Deer," along with "Buddha's Incarnation," "Future Buddha," and "Auspicious Light of Spiritual Wisdom."

Zhou Yan's fur changed color, and his size shrank. Before Maitreya Buddha could finish speaking, Zhou Yan had transformed into the image of the silly roe deer, the Nine-Colored Deer. He didn't even radiate the auspicious light that a Nine-Colored Deer should have.

The future Buddha Maitreya, sensing something, looked at Zhou Yan. Zhou Yan opened his mouth, his voice still carrying the silly and simple-minded tone of the Nine-Colored Deer.

“The Buddha said that I would inherit His mantle.”

The lamps before the Buddha blazed brightly, and the Buddha's image within slowly emanated the aura of the nine-colored deer.

Having witnessed the vicissitudes of life, endured countless tribulations, and transformed into countless mortals, the future Buddha, who had suffered countless hardships and calamities, was suddenly stunned.

Zhou Yan went to the Western Heavenly Gate and received a personal promise from the Buddha, who said that the Nine-Colored Deer had a profound Buddhist nature and was destined to be with the Buddha. After his death, the Nine-Colored Deer would inherit the Buddha's mantle.

This matter of inheriting the mantle originally belonged to the future Buddha, and it was Maitreya's natural duty to do so.

But now, all of this is attributed to the Nine-Colored Deer.

A more vivid way to put it is that Maitreya Buddha (the prince) was deposed by the reigning emperor (the present Buddha), and the reigning emperor appointed another prince (the nine-colored deer).

Not long after this incident, when Zhou Yan spoke up, Maitreya Buddha realized that his master had given up on him.

Zhou Yan shouted loudly at Maitreya Buddha using the skin of the nine-colored deer.

"You are no longer the future Buddha!"

"I am!"

Guanyin, whose fair wrist was being held by Maitreya Buddha, clearly felt that the pressure on His hand had decreased significantly.

Even the Buddha, whose Buddha-nature is as steadfast as the future Buddha, was shaken by Zhou Yan's few words.

Of course, this is the best outcome. Guanyin broke free from Maitreya's chubby, white, fat hand and, with lightning speed, grabbed the urn containing the fragments of Medicine Buddha's body and ashes from the yellow-haired boy's hand.

Zhou Yan gave Guanyin a look, and the two of them stepped back at the same time.

After a brief moment of distraction, the Maitreya Buddha opposite him returned to normal. Instead of hysterically roaring "This is impossible" or shouting "I don't admit it, you're lying to me," he clasped his hands together with a sorrowful expression.

"That's how it should be, that's how it should be..."

"Maitreya disappointed Amitabha."

Facing the soliloquy of Maitreya Buddha, a magnificent Buddha light soared into the sky from afar, illuminating the entire Lingshan Mountain and turning the land, now entirely occupied by the Hou Sheng Temple, into a dazzling array of colors, indescribably sacred.

Sugi followed with a roar filled with anger and trembling.

"Maitreya!"

Holding medicine utensils in his left hand and forming the Three Realms Mudra with his right, the Medicine Buddha, dressed in a kasaya, emerged from the soaring Buddha light.

His appearance was solemn and dignified, but his face showed anger.

Chapter Twenty-Seven: Never Mind It

Let's rewind five seconds.

After Zhou Yan, Xiao Yanjun, Wenquxing, and Guanyin left the Housheng Temple where Maitreya Buddha was, Guanyin broke the urn containing ashes in her arms and gave Zhou Yan the last leg of the Medicine Buddha inside.

When Zhou Yan took it, Guanyin couldn't help but say something.

"The most powerful weapon in the world is none other than your mouth, Benefactor Bai."

The Buddha's nature and Buddha-heart are so steadfast that even if Guanyin stared until her eyes bled and her lips blistered from spewing the delusions of the five desires, Maitreya Buddha would not be affected in the slightest. Yet, Zhou Yan uttered a few words without any magical power or supernatural abilities, and Maitreya Buddha broke through his defenses.

Guanyin knew that Bai Ze in the Heavenly Court had a foul mouth that had caused countless fairies and goddesses to cry. Now, seeing this, Guanyin realized that she had been too conservative in listening to him back then.

Zhou Yan's mouth is black, ruthless, and poisonous.

Zhou Yan took out the corpse of the Medicine Buddha, whose leg was still unattached, from his own little world, and muttered curses under his breath.

"I, Bai Ze, have made a living with my mouth all my life."

This wasn't the first time Zhou Yan had managed to break someone's defenses with his words, which weren't imbued with any supernatural powers or magic. The Fox King of Qingqiu was so enraged when he read his love letter that he almost died. After he stirred up the anger of the four Celestial Masters, they chased Zhou Yan for three thousand miles. If it weren't for the fact that Zhou Yan had his own little world to escape to, he felt that these four Celestial Masters would have chased him from Earth all the way to outside the solar system.

Although Zhou Yan felt that being so proud was a bit inappropriate, the thought that he could make gods and immortals break down their defenses with just a few words was quite amusing.

Zhou Yan reattached the last leg of the Medicine Buddha. The moment he did, the Medicine Buddha trembled, and his eyelids, which had been trembling violently, opened.

Guanshi Wu, standing to the side, said with his palms together.

"Greetings, Bhaisajyaguru Buddha, Avalokiteshvara."

The Medicine Buddha easily broke free from Zhou Yan's grasp and sighed.
