Because the book "Mencius" is different from "The Analects".

"The Analects of Confucius" is just a collection of quotations compiled by Confucius' disciples and his disciples to record the words and deeds of Confucius and his disciples.

But "Mencius" was written by Mencius and his disciples Wan Zhang and Gongsun Chou.

Although in terms of the status of Confucianism, "The Analects of Confucius" is even better, and it is the foundation of Confucianism.

However, Chen Qi felt that in the system's evaluation, "Mencius" would be higher, and it would bring him more gains.

The reason is very simple, one book was sorted out by Confucius' unknown disciples and re-transferred unknown disciples.

One was compiled by Mencius himself and his disciples Wan Zhang, Gongsun Chou and others.

The editors of the former didn’t even have names, and they said they compiled it based on the words and deeds of Confucius and his disciples. Who knows if they really understood the true meaning of the sages’ thoughts.

The latter was written by Mencius himself. If you say that Mencius didn't know his own thoughts, then there is a ghost.

Therefore, Chen Qi felt that it was very possible for him to obtain additional rewards other than experience points from the book "Mencius".

""Mencius" Dedicated Chapters and Sentences No. 30 Section [-]:

Mencius said: From Yao and Shun to Tang, there are more than five hundred years old. If you are like Yu and Gao Tao, you will know it by seeing it;

If it is soup, you will know it by smelling it.From Tang to King Wen, they were more than five hundred years old. If Yi Yin and Lai Zhu saw it, they would know it;

If you are King Wen, you will know it when you hear it.From King Wen to Confucius, more than five hundred years old, if the Taigong Wang, San Yisheng, you will know it by seeing;

Like Confucius, you will know it by hearing it.From Confucius to the present, more than a hundred years old, to the world of sages, if this is not far away;

If it is so close to the residence of a saint, if there is nothing like it, then there is nothing like it. "

After reading No. 30 and eight chapters of "Mencius" with all his heart, Chen Qi seemed to have some insights, and he couldn't help but close his eyes.

The latter one is upright and upright, the grand spiritual power condenses from him, and finally explodes, piercing through the sky, covering half of Chang'an City, which shocked many people.

"Haha, I didn't expect our Confucianism to produce another great Confucian, it should be a big one!"

In the Hongwen Museum of the Tang Dynasty, an old man with a refined appearance and wearing a blue Confucian shirt couldn't help laughing after feeling the great spiritual power above Chang'an City.

Accompanied by his loud laughter, a spiritual force that seemed to have the same origin erupted, like a mountain, pressing across the sky above Chang'an City. Those who originally wanted to explore the source of spiritual power had to put away their little thoughts.

After all, even a land god would not be willing to provoke a Confucian of the first rank, in the city of Chang'an where dragon spirit is suppressed.

With such a great Confucian sitting in the town, he dared to plot against a newly promoted Confucian after he had the heart of a bear and the courage of a leopard.

Of course, Chen Qi didn't know what was happening in the outside world, and he didn't know that because of himself, he attracted a Confucian powerhouse of the first rank.

After an unknown period of time, the great spiritual power in his body slowly dissipated, and the whole person returned to normal again.

"Majestic righteousness, Mencius' three swords!"

Although he already had a hunch that he would gain something from the book "Mencius", Chen Qi never expected that his gain would be so great.

A basic magical power of Confucianism, a set of supreme swordsmanship of Confucianism, plus [-] experience points.

This kind of harvest can be compared with Zhou Wenwang's "Book of Changes".

The practice of Confucianism is not the same as that of martial arts and immortality. They are no different from ordinary people before they understand the awe-inspiring righteousness.

Once they accumulate enough and realize the awe-inspiring righteousness, they will be able to ascend to the sky in one step, and their cultivation base will reach the third rank.

Of course, such a one-step climb to the sky also has a huge flaw, that is, only the spiritual will reaches the upper third rank, and the spiritual will condensed by the awe-inspiring righteousness can use the power of the righteousness of the heavens and the earth.

His physique is still the same, not to mention compared with warriors of the same realm, even compared with monks, it is far inferior.

But it is undeniable that a Confucian powerhouse of the third rank is absolutely invincible when dealing with evil spirits, and is the nemesis of evil spirits.

It's just that the great Confucian who understands the great righteousness belongs to the upper third rank of spiritual practice, and only cultivates the gods of the three treasures of essence, energy and spirit, so there is a deficiency.

Even if one achieves first rank, in terms of longevity, he is no different from ordinary people, not even warriors.

Therefore, the practice of Confucianism can be understood as spiritual practice, and the fundamental righteousness of Confucianism is spiritual supernatural powers.

Similar to Haoran Zhengqi is Mencius' Three Swords, which is the unique skill of Mencius, the sub-sage of Confucianism, and belongs to the secret method of spiritual attack.

Mencius Three Swords!

These three swords are: the sword of the king, the sword of the people, and the sword of the country! .

Chen Qi opened his eyes, carefully comprehended the changes in himself, his heart was calm and unwavering, neither sad nor happy, only absolute reason.

At this time, his thoughts were condensed together, crystal clear, pure and flawless, without any impurities, just like a crystal diamond, square and square, giving people a sense of integrity.

Thought is the embodiment of a person's spiritual power, and it is also the composition of the three souls and seven souls of a person.

If the thoughts are strong enough, you can condense the Yin God, and once you enter the Tao, you will become a monk of the Immortal Dao.

However, human thoughts are originally invisible and intangible.

Especially for ordinary people, their soul is composed of thousands of various distracting thoughts, so they are constantly thinking about it every day, can't concentrate, and their work and study efficiency is not high.

Just like cultivating the Tao, the first step is to teach people how to enter concentration and how to get rid of distracting thoughts in their minds.

When people's distracting thoughts disappear, their thoughts will gradually become pure, and finally they will be crystal clear and clean, and they will get what Taoism calls the heart of a child.

In addition, whether it is the cultivation of Taoist visualization or the cultivation of martial arts mind, the essence is to wash away distracting thoughts like sand, leaving the nature like gold.

This is the so-called "Golden Elixir Way", rather than actually cultivating a golden elixir.

If someone really cultivated a golden elixir in his body, then what he cultivated is not necessarily a "golden elixir", but probably a gallstone.

But distracting thoughts are like weeds on the ground, even if they were all eliminated a moment ago.But the next moment, it seemed to spring up like bamboo shoots after rain, growing one after another.

Only when the thoughts are pure yang, or reach the realm of the yang god in the immortal way, can one's thoughts remain pure forever, and no distracting thoughts arise.

And the Yangshen great master of Taoism, in exchange for martial arts cultivation, that is a first-rank celestial warrior, a top master in the human world.

Now Chen Qi's thoughts are purified and condensed by the great spiritual power of Haoran Zhengqi, and they have become crystal clear, pure and flawless crystal diamonds.

Such a step up to the sky, becoming a master and strong man in the early stage of the third grade of Confucianism and Taoism.

This is the magic of Confucian practice.

It does not cultivate true energy, nor does it cultivate physique, but only cultivates spiritual thoughts.

Continuously purify and strengthen one's thoughts through reading. Once you have accumulated enough and comprehended the awe-inspiring righteousness, you can use the righteousness of heaven and earth to substantiate your own thoughts, and reach the sky in one step to become the top three grades of Confucianism and Taoism.

In Chen Qi's understanding, the so-called awe-inspiring righteousness is not only a method of moral supernatural powers, but also a method of spiritual cultivation that condenses spiritual power.

Through Haoran righteousness, Confucian monks can continuously refine their spiritual thoughts.

When the spiritual thoughts reach a certain level, you can skip the Yinshen stage, directly condense the Yangshen, and finally ascend to immortality.

Of course, Confucianism pays attention to: if you don't talk about strange powers and chaotic gods, if you don't believe in it, respect ghosts and gods and stay away.

So they don't say that they have become immortals and gods, but that they have become Confucian sages.

As for how to use awe-inspiring righteousness against the enemy?

In the words of Confucianism, it is to rely on the righteousness of heaven and earth.

In fact, it's not so mysterious at all. To put it bluntly, it is to use powerful spiritual power to control the power of heaven and earth.

It's just because the essence of Haoran Zhengqi is the gathering of masculine and upright thoughts. According to the game attribute, it is the power of yang attribute.

Therefore, when using the mighty righteous energy to mobilize the power of heaven and earth, it can only mobilize the masculine power between heaven and earth.

Combined with the upright and upright spiritual power of Confucianism, the so-called righteousness of heaven and earth is formed.

After being refined by Haoran's righteousness, Chen Qi's distracting thoughts disappeared, and he became more rational.

He felt the changes in his body and spirit, and for a moment he didn't know whether it was good or bad for him to gain awe-inspiring righteousness.

Because the awe-inspiring righteousness had too much influence on him, especially this kind of awe-inspiring righteousness was not realized by himself, but was forcibly instilled and cultivated by the system.

Under the influence of Haoran's righteousness, his distracting thoughts disappeared, as if he had become a real scholar, with the excellent and high moral character of a scholar.

However, there are gains and losses.

It is impossible for a scholar with high moral character to never forget Miss Changlefang.

It is also impossible to have some bad or bad thoughts about the goblins in Qianyao Pavilion.

Because, such thoughts are distracting thoughts, and such behaviors are immoral.

If Chen Qi really did that, then he thought about it.

The distracting thoughts in his heart will gradually increase, and the power of righteousness will gradually dissipate.

However, he, Chen Qi, was just a common man, and he never thought of being a gentleman in the past.

If he changes himself because of the awe-inspiring righteousness instilled by the system, making himself a moral person with the appearance of a gentleman, is he still him?

Having distracting thoughts is not conducive to practice.

But if a person has no distracting thoughts, is he still a person?

It should be known that happiness, anger, worry, thought, sadness, fear, shock, love, hatred, sorrow, desire, greed, jealousy, etc. are all distracting thoughts!

Without these distracting thoughts, there are no emotions and desires, and it is different from wood carving and clay sculpture.

When Chen Qi thought of this, he couldn't help but think of the gods in the sky, the Buddha in Lingshan, and those sages on earth who see through the world and have no desires or desires.

I don't know how long it took before he let out a heavy breath and said leisurely:

"So, compared to Confucianism's awe-inspiring righteousness, and compared to the gods and Buddhas who cut through the world of mortals, I think warriors are more suitable for me!"

"System, consume [-] experience points, and upgrade the first level of the basic body training technique of the human race to a great success!".

Chapter 35 What should I do if my boss is too enthusiastic when I join the Hanlin Academy? (ask for collection, ask for flowers)

In the Tang Dynasty, Chang'an City was divided into inner and outer cities. The inner city had 11 streets in the north and south, and 14 streets in the east and west, which criss-crossed and divided Chang'an Guocheng into 110 squares.

Furong Garden is a royal forbidden garden, occupying two squares, actually 108 squares.

Taking the central Zhuque Street as the central axis, the whole city divides Guocheng into east and west parts.

There are 55 squares in the east, except for the two squares occupied by Furong Garden, the actual number is 53 squares, and there are 55 squares in the west.

The east and west sides are symmetrical, equal to each other, and the left and right sides are the same.

Although the Hanlin Academy is a place where the imperial court enshrines strange people and collects folk books, it is not valued by the imperial court. It is located on the west side of the imperial palace, in the Xiuzhen workshop in the northwest corner of Chang'an City, separated from the outer city by only one wall.

This day was the day Chen Qi reported to the Imperial Academy, so he came to the Yamen of the Imperial Academy early.

The head of the Hanlin Academy is called Song Yi, who is an official of the eighth grade. He is responsible for the affairs of the Imperial Academy, such as the recruitment and training of folk strange people, the collection, preservation and revision of folk classics, and so on.

The school clerk Chen Qi works for belongs to the proofreading and revision work of folk classics, and is one of the lowest-ranking officials in the Hanlin Academy, and below that are petty officials without rank.

The person in charge of receiving and entertaining Chen Qi was an editor named Zhou Xi, who was also his immediate superior.

Editing is an official position of the ninth rank in the imperial court, and above that is the editing and writing of the eighth rank.

Editing is responsible for the proofreading and revision of all books of the Hanlin Academy, which is already the biggest official position under the Academy.

At the same level as compiling, there are officials responsible for recruiting strange people and scholars, ancient books responsible for collecting folk classics, and doctors who are responsible for cultivating strange people and scholars.

"From today onwards, you are the school secretary of our Imperial Academy."

"We don't have so many rules in Xiuwen Hall, as long as you can finish proofreading the books that need proofreading within the specified time."

In the Xiuwen Hall of the Imperial Academy, Xiu Zhuan Zhou Xi checked the appointment documents, and after confirming that they were correct, he led Chen Qi to his place of work.

On the way, Zhou Xi did not forget to introduce the basic situation of the Imperial Academy to him.
