After figuring it out, Kitagawa Ryo sent a message to Chairman Sakayanagi to inquire about the situation. Sure enough, he received a reply shortly afterward. It was just a normal fluctuation in the patient's condition. However, as a father, he was a little worried and insisted on taking Arisu out for another full-body physical examination. If all goes well, she might be able to return to school this afternoon.

Now that things were clear, Kitagawa Ryo saw no need to go to the thirteenth floor. Feeling much more relaxed, he asked Amasawa Ichika with interest:

"Where's Tianze? Doesn't he go to the student cafeteria during lunch break?"

"Because I forgot to take the bento I made last night."

Tianze Yixia tossed her pigtails; she seemed to really like this hairstyle.

"Senior Ryo probably hasn't eaten either, how about we eat lunch together later?"

"can."

Kitagawa Ryo was indeed holding a bento box. Ever since he solidified his golden talent of "God of Cookery", he had never looked at the food in the student cafeteria. Even the most expensive deluxe set meal was just made with higher-grade ingredients.

"Then please wait for me on the first floor for a moment, senior."

After taking the elevator back to the first floor, Kitagawa Ryo quickly met Amasawa Ichika, who had brought her lunchbox again. He had come into contact with three experimental subjects from the White Room so far. Compared to Ayanokoji Kiyotaka and Yagami Takuya, Kitagawa Ryo felt that Amasawa Ichika was somewhat different. Her personality was so unconventional that it was hard to believe she was raised there.

And perhaps because he's a year younger, this child seems to believe in fairy tales more easily than Sakayanagi Arisu.

"Ok?"

Seemingly noticing Kitagawa Ryo's gaze, Amazu Ichika turned around with some confusion, her red ponytail brushing against Kitagawa Ryo's nose, causing a slight tickling sensation.

Kitagawa Ryo's round, yellowish-brown eyes, almost identical in color to his younger sister's, made him momentarily dazed.

"It's nothing, I just remembered that although Tianze joined the drama club, he doesn't seem to have participated in many club activities."

"Isn't your drama club just a club that's basically for slacking off and going off-campus?"

That makes so much sense, I can't even argue with it.

Just as Kitagawa Ryo was thinking of what topic to use to brush it off, he suddenly heard some noise ahead. He narrowed his eyes, activated the [Eagle Eye] talent effect, and vaguely saw several familiar figures, especially the big, muscular guy.

"Yamada?"

Frowning, Kitagawa Ryo quickened his pace and said:

"It seems like something happened to one of our classmates over there."

"Eh?"

Tianze Yixia, who had already found a bench and was about to open her lunchbox, paused for a moment, then quickly put the lid back on:

"Then let's go take a look."

"Ah."

Kitagawa Ryo and Amasawa Ichika jogged towards a corner of the woods. To Kitagawa Ryo's slight surprise, Amasawa Ichika was able to keep up with his speed the whole way. In terms of physical fitness alone, she was one of the best among girls, even Rinne might not be able to match her.

After turning another corner, the view suddenly opened up. In a clearing hidden in the woods, two groups were facing off with a tense atmosphere. One of them was Yamada Albert, whom Kitagawa Ryo had just glimpsed. Standing next to him was another boy, Miyake Akito, whom Sudo Ken had mentioned to him that morning.

Compared to the mere two students from Class D, the group confronting them consisted of seven or eight boys, but they seemed to be holding back something, and their momentum wasn't as strong.

Kitagawa Ryo glanced at the current situation and was somewhat surprised to find that the composition of these seven or eight boys was quite complicated. There were about two or three students from Class C, two or three students from Class D, and two unfamiliar faces.

"The last person to cause violence had already dropped out of school half a month ago."

"what happened?"

Upon seeing that the person who had suddenly arrived was Kitagawa Ryo, Yamada Albert visibly breathed a sigh of relief and quickly pulled Miyake Akito behind him. This action caused Miyake Akito to look at Kitagawa Ryo with some confusion.

After all, in terms of sheer size, Kitagawa Ryo doesn't seem nearly as intimidating as Yamada.

Sure enough, right after Kitagawa Ryo spoke, an unfamiliar face on the other side frowned and said in an annoyed tone:

"Who are you?"

"It's Kitagawa Ryo from our class."

A boy from Class D next to him quickly whispered, "Kitagawa Ryo vaguely remembers his name is something like Hondo something, and he used to be quite close to Yamauchi and the others."

"Does he have some kind of background?"

"She's very close to Horikita in our class; she's a member of the student council."

Hondou hesitated for a moment before introducing it this way, and Amasawa Ichika, who was following Kitagawa Ryo, seemed to chuckle to himself.

"Never mind him!"

The unfamiliar face simply waved his hand, then, with an air of self-righteousness, questioned:

"This is a matter between the two of us. It doesn't matter if you know a member of the student council or even if you are one yourself."

"Second grade? Or third grade?"

Upon hearing Kitagawa Ryo's question, the other party retorted sarcastically:

"Since you know he's an upperclassman, why treat him like this?"

"They're from Class 2-C, all seniors from the archery club."

Miyake Akito quickly explained, recounting the whole story:

"In my archery club, there's a student in Class C named Yoshimoto. He seems to be pursuing a second-year female student, and then today he suddenly asked me out for no reason, saying that I stole his girlfriend. It sounds complicated, but that's how it is from my perspective."

"Yamada came with me voluntarily; he was a little worried that violence might occur."

"Yimoto?"

Kitagawa Ryo did have a vague recollection of this name. When he was leading Class C, he knew that this guy had indeed successfully started dating a second-year female student in the archery club, and seemed to be completely infatuated with her, constantly proclaiming that he wanted to get married. As a result, he seemed to have neglected his archery training, which indirectly led to Class C's embarrassing situation of having no one to participate in the archery event at the sports festival.

While it's true that Yoshimoto, or most of the boys in Class C, might be capable of leading a group to block the door, Miyake Akito's personality doesn't seem like the type to steal someone else's girlfriend.

The crowd on the other side, seeing Kitagawa Ryo and his group whispering amongst themselves, couldn't help but speak loudly again:

"It's because of this guy that Yoshimoto couldn't think straight."

Startled by the other person's "unthinkable" statement, Kitagawa Ryo hadn't even had a chance to ask before the other person, panting heavily, added:

"He would only be mentally unstable and in extremely poor condition during training and assessments. He failed to pass the official team test and couldn't participate in the Summer Tournament. This guy has ruined Yoshimoto's life!"

This is too much of a landslide.

Miyake Akito couldn't hold back either and immediately went out for a confrontation. Unexpectedly, the usually taciturn man was quite eloquent when he started cursing.

Seeing that the potential violence was turning into a bickering session about trivial emotional issues, Kitagawa Ryo speechlessly opened his lunchbox and started eating on the spot. His lunch break was about to end, so he had to hurry.

Although the other party included students from Class C, Class D, and upperclassmen, Kitagawa Ryo didn't really believe this was Ryuen Sho's arrangement. Given Ryuen's personality, the normal script would have been a more direct frame-up.

Moreover, there is absolutely no need to target Class D now.

The class's grades remained stubbornly zero, and six students dropped out within two months; the class looked like a bunch of ragtag bunches.

Since Ryuen Sho doesn't have the necessary purpose that Ayanokoji Kiyotaka has been given, framing Class D is really a thankless task.

Of course, it cannot be ruled out that Kiyotaka Ayanokoji approached Sho Ryuen to request a collaboration.

Chew and chew.

After finishing his meal, Kitagawa Ryo casually called out:

"Class is about to start, stop making noise."

Not being able to return to class on time is equivalent to being late, which means losing points in the class, which means losing points in the individual, which means a decline in living standards.

So, after Miyake Akito took a sip of water, the seven or eight mixed-gender people on the other side scattered like birds and beasts. Before leaving, they made a few harsh words as usual, leaving only two students from Class D standing there at a loss.

"And what's going on between you two?"

"A thousand people's points... well, just to make a show of it."

The monk, somewhat trembling, extended one finger:

"How about I transfer you three hundred, no, five hundred?"

"Actually, I didn't intend to do anything, I just wanted to scare Miyake, and there are surveillance cameras right next to us."

After stammering and trying to explain himself, Bentang tentatively took two steps with another boy in tow:

"If you don't want it, then we'll be going now?"

Watching the two run off in a flash, Kitagawa Ryo patted Miyake Akito on the shoulder:

"Let's go, everything should be alright now."

"Thank you... Um, are you really okay?"

"There's no need to be so nervous. This is still a school after all."

"It's too tiring to think about everything from the perspective of scheming and intrigue. It was just a case of being jealous for no reason."

Kitagawa Ryo checked the surrounding surveillance cameras and found that they were indeed working properly. This was not one of the unmonitored areas he had surveyed. Moreover, if he really wanted to take action against Miyake Akito, there was no need to bring two students from Class D.

"Go back to class."

"The first period this afternoon is Mr. Mashima's English class; if you're late, you'll be punished by standing."

"Mr. Mashima's class?"

Miyake Akito and Yamada's expressions changed drastically, and then, under Kitagawa Ryo's shocked gaze, they took off running.

"Hey, hey, don't run away! If you're going to be punished, you'll be punished together..."

"Tianze, Tianze, why are you running so fast too!"

"Damn it! I just ate!"

-------------------------------------

"It seems we're going to be late again."

Sakayanagi Arisu opened the car window and glanced down at the time displayed on her phone screen.

"Actually, if you're not feeling well, you can skip class this afternoon."

The father, sitting in the driver's seat, said that one of the reasons he enrolled Sakayanagi Arisu in school was to make it easier to take care of his daughter.

"Sure, let's go to the teaching building. Maybe we can make it in time."

Sakayanagi Arisu shook her head. The car quickly stopped in front of the teaching building, and she carefully got out of the car.

"Dong dong dong."

I heard a loud noise, like someone struggling to climb the stairs.

Sakayanagi Arisu looked up with some curiosity and caught a glimpse of two figures flashing by in the stairwell ahead.

It looks like Miyake and Yamada from the class? Albert Yamada's size is quite easy to recognize.

I glanced at my phone again. There was less than a minute left before class started, but judging from their speed, they should be able to make it.

Sakayanagi Arisu took the cane from her father's hand, and over the years she had long since grown accustomed to its help.

"Then I won't see you up. Take your time, no need to rush. Your teacher will understand."

Her father also had his own job, and Sakayanagi Arisu obediently nodded in agreement:

"it does not matter."

So Sakayanagi Arisu, using her cane, began to walk up the steps one by one.

As soon as I walked between the first and second floors, I heard a chorus of "reports" coming from upstairs!

Looks like we made it in time.

With a slight smile, Sakayanagi Arisu continued walking slowly uphill at her own pace.

Suddenly, I heard hurried footsteps behind me.

"Alice! How are you feeling?"

A familiar voice. Sakayanagi Arisu turned around in the middle of the corridor. It was Kitagawa Ryo.

"no problem."

She shook her head and said, somewhat curious why Kitagawa Ryo hadn't gone to class so late today, feeling that he was probably going to be late.

"That's good."

Kitagawa Ryo took two steps forward, deliberately falling behind by one step to lessen the height difference between them, and reached out to support Sakayanagi Arisu's slender arm:

"But it's best to be careful since I just came back from the hospital."

"...It's still the same as before."

The two walked to the fourth floor where the classroom was located, one after the other, and unsurprisingly, they were both late.
