Reading poems from Teyvat

"Speaking of which, Lord Yuhengxing, don't you think that person is a little strange?"
"Why are you..."
Keqing originally wanted to ask him why he started calling her Lord Yuhengxing again, but she was not a fool and soon realized that he was just playing along and did not want to expose her identity as Yuhengxing, or rather, did not want to reveal this identity directly in front of that person. So she carefully recalled what she had seen and heard before, and she could not help but react and asked Shen Zhigui:
"Then tell me your true purpose?"
"what is the relationship?"
Shen Zhigui just said it casually.
"So you guys are really going to the Wind Dragon Ruins?"
The young man in green was still there, and he unscrupulously intervened in their conversation.
Shen Zhigui nodded.
"why?"
Shen Zhigui wanted to continue to perfunctorily answer him, but the green-clothed boy's eyes were full of dazzling light. Shen Zhigui thought for a moment and said, "Why should I tell you? You need a reason to know our secret. Or, you should also tell a secret of your own, right?"
"Then if I say that I am Barbatos, is this secret enough for exchange?"
Testimonials
Actually, there is not much point in writing down this kind of remarks, but since I have the opportunity, I will still say some random things about this book:
The title of this book was decided at the beginning to be "The Index of Forbidden Martial Arts Books of Teyvat". I got the inspiration as early as last year, and even wrote an introduction of more than ten chapters at that time. However, the story I wrote at that time was quite boring in hindsight, so I deleted it. Later, I read Tagore's poetry collection and Wang Xiaobo's "Hong Fu's Night Escape" and "Wanshou Temple", and then I thought about rewriting this story. Although the current story cannot be said to be very interesting, I have tried my best to make it interesting——
As for whether some readers can accept this kind of fun, it is not within my consideration.
It's not that I haven't read the book review section at all, but some book reviews have been repeating the same rhetoric. Let's not talk about which organ they use in which plot to see whether the protagonist is arrogant or not, and I have never portrayed the protagonist as having extra emotions because of the poems he copied. As for the words "I haven't picked it up, how can I put it down?", I guess it's just because I've read too much "Legend of Sword and Fairy" - but I actually recommend Huineng's "Bodhi is not a tree, and the mirror is not a stand; there is nothing originally, where can dust be raised" - those who say that the protagonist says one thing and does another, isn't it just like that? At the beginning, I directly wrote that the protagonist is the kind of person who will turn around and give "Peerless Beauty" to Ningguang to get the system wool again.
As for those who say that the protagonist's mood does not match the copied poems, it is actually even more strange. Not to mention that there was actually a poet in history like Yuan Zhen who wrote "Once you have seen the sea, all other waters are but puddles; except for the Wushan Mountains, all other hills are but mounds" and then turned around and fell in love with his new love, the poems that the protagonist actively used to trigger the system reward, "Peerless Beauty" and "Green Jade Case Yuan Xi" are positioned as pure love poems in this book, while Tagore's poem talks about transcendence at the moment of death. What's more interesting is that someone said earlier that the protagonist's mood was like a passerby, but then said that the protagonist's state of mind was problematic.
Also, those who say that we cannot copy ancient poems because some of them have appeared in the game, I have actually written this in the original text a long time ago, and I can explain it in more depth here: the first sentence of "The Knight-Errant" is "The Zhao guests wear Hu tassels, and the Wu hooks are bright in frost and snow." If you want this poem to be established in the world view of Teyvat, there must have been three forces of "Zhao", "Wu" and "Hu" in the historical setting, and there must have been historical events like King Wuling of Zhao's reform of wearing Hu clothes and riding and shooting in order for the imagery of these two lines of poetry to be established; the line in Zhongli Daiji's dialogue "I want to buy osmanthus flowers and carry wine together" was originally from "Tang Duoling" written by Liu Guo, but this line contains "The Yellow Crane is on the broken reef," but is there a place called Yellow Crane Tower in Liyue?
As for ancient poetry and modern poetry, it was not a mistake on my part, but purely my personal idea. In fact, the fact that I did not use the term modern poetry is very telling.
Although it must be said that in the history of Chinese literature, classical prose and modern prose have always been the two poles of a spiral of constant struggle. Chen Ziang opposed the gaudy and delicate palace-style poetry since the Qi and Liang dynasties, and pioneered a new generation with "Song of Climbing the Tower in Youzhou"; Han Yu opposed the parallel prose and launched the classical prose movement, which was praised by Su Shi as "the rise of literature after eight generations of decline"; in the Song Dynasty, the prevalence of the Western Kun style was also opposed by Ouyang Xiu, so he re-advocated the classical prose movement; in the Ming and Qing dynasties, the imperial examinations used eight-part essays, and there were also writers such as Gui Youguang and Yao Nai who advocated classical prose; in modern times...
It’s better not to talk about this. Those who understand will understand, and those who don’t understand, I also wonder how I developed this hobby of reading novels.
All in all, I have said what I need to say. If you don’t like it, you can just click the cross in the upper right corner, although I am too lazy to delete the book review.
Regarding the issue of updates on the shelves, basically there are two chapters a day, 4K words, if the first order exceeds 1k, an additional chapter will be added, and if the blades exceed 100, an additional chapter will be added. The reward can be converted into the same value as the blades.
That's about it.
Chapter 67: Only the fishing season should be redone (Part 2)
"Barbatos?"
Keqing immediately looked suspicious.
"Hey," the green-clothed boy immediately pretended to be stupid, then stretched out his hand to Shen Zhigui, "You can also call me Wendy."
"Shen Zhigui."
Keqing had already decided that this was a silly prank, but she still introduced herself, and then turned to discuss the issue of the winter woman with Shen Zhigui:
"You want to go fishing?"
"It can only be called a test."
Shen Zhigui said.
Although Shen Zhigui couldn't figure out why the Fatui wanted to deal with them.
Could it be that they think Keqing’s visit will ruin their plans?
But hasn’t the primary goal of the Fatui’s plan always been to seize the Heart of God?
However, the bard in front of them had been lying in bed for a long time, so even if he blatantly said that he was Barbatos, few people would really connect him with the god represented by the huge statue of the god of wind standing in Mondstadt. Even Keqing thought it was just a prank, so the Fatui probably hadn't discovered the truth yet, and their goal should only be to annex Mondstadt and seize the ruling hearts of other countries.
If they want to annex Mondstadt, they must find an excuse to attack the Knights of Favonius, who are currently severely undermanned. So, what if at this time, Yuheng, one of the Seven Stars of Liyue, dies in Mondstadt, thus becoming embroiled in a diplomatic dispute?
Before Zhongli went to seek cooperation with the Fatui, he killed one of the Seven Stars of Liyue and a fairy disciple in Mondstadt, which seemed to be a way to provoke civil unrest in Liyue!
"what is this?"
Is this the butterfly effect of time travelers?
Shen Zhigui said in his heart.
He had simply wanted to help Tevarin deal with Durin's poisonous blood before he turned into a wind dragon, so that he would not be cursed by the Abyss Cult and come out to harm Mondstadt. Of course, it would be even better if he could gain the recognition of someone with the Eye of God in the Knights of Favonius in the process. However, he did not have much hope for the latter. After all, as he mentioned in the question he asked Keqing, heroes who stand up in times of crisis will always receive more gratitude than those who take precautions.
But at least I can get Qin's recognition, right?
But the current situation is really beyond his understanding:
Do the Fatui really want to take action against Keqing and Shenhe?
He suddenly became confused:
If that's the case, then what's the strength of the lady? If I really want to go fishing in the Wind Dragon Ruins, what if I catch a big fish that I can't handle now? Even if I hire this Wind God to go with me, it seems that he is not trustworthy, right? In the game, he was shamefully pinned to the ground and stomped on!
He looked at the cuckolded bard suspiciously.
"Young Master Shen?"
Wendy still used this name that is very Liyue-specific.
Shen Zhigui thought for a moment and said, "I heard that the best bards can use the sound of their flutes to convey their messages and emotions, across thousands of mountains and rivers, and use the element of wind to send them to other people's ears?"
“It’s a little difficult, but it’s not impossible.”
Wendy said, playing with the "Eye of God" in her hand with a grin.
"Could you please deliver a message for me?"
"To whom?"
"A certain Yaksha who should be near Ogihua Island now."
Wendy immediately looked at Shen Zhigui seriously, then glanced at Keqing and Shen He who remained silent, and finally said gently: "What news?"
"Tell him to get to Mondstadt as soon as possible."
“That guardian Yaksha won’t leave Liyue so easily, right?”
Wendy said.
"He owes me a favor, so I'd better not use it."
Shen Zhigui just said.
"So what's my reward for delivering the message for you?"
"How about I help Tevarin, the Guardian of the East Wind of Mondstadt, cleanse the poisonous blood of Durin that still remains in his body today?"
"You can do it?"
Shen Zhigui nodded: "The reason why that Yaksha owes me a favor is because I cleared most of his karma. You will know it when the time comes."
Wendy looked at the boy with a look that was suddenly very strange:
Did he send Xiao to Mondstadt because he wanted to treat Tevarin, or did he want Xiao to come to Mondstadt to treat Tevarin?
But he seemed to have already decided to go to the Wind Dragon Ruins...
However, Wendy was a man who lived for the moment. He was too lazy to think about things he couldn't figure out. Since someone said he could cure his friend and could provide a witness, he certainly wouldn't refuse. So he finished the dandelion wine in his hand, stood up, patted the Eye of God that was hung back on his waist, and said, "Let's go."
Shen Zhigui stood up, thought for a moment, patted the jade box hanging on his waist, handed a square piece of white jade to Shen He, and said, "You'd better not leave the city in the near future."
"What on earth do you want to do?"
Although Keqing had begun to get used to his sudden and inexplicable behavior, his current behavior was a little too inexplicable: when he met a young man who claimed to be the best bard in Mondstadt, he asked the other party to convey messages through the sound of the flute. Since he wanted that Yaksha to come to Mondstadt, why didn't he notify the other party when he passed by Wangshu Inn?
Could it be that this girl is actually...
Thinking of the appearance of the Yaksha, and the fact that he and the androgynous-looking bard in front of him could become so close with just a few words, Keqing couldn't help but doubt the boy's sexual orientation.
Could it be that the people who suit his taste are not Ningguang or Shenhe, but these beautiful boys with slender appearance?
Keqing's face became increasingly gloomy.
“It’s just insurance.”
Shen Zhigui just said.
Anyway, no matter whether Venti intended to hand over his Heart of God or not, he chose to let it go, not caring at all about his face being trampled on by the lady. He also didn't want to risk his safety on such unrealistic speculation, not to mention that Keqing and Shenhe were involved entirely because of him, so no matter what, he couldn't let them fall into crisis. The favor that Xiao owed him should not be wasted. Since the Fatui have become so bold, it is reasonable to give them a taste of their own medicine.
Anyway, among the people he knows now, the only one who can definitely defeat him and can be controlled by him is Xiao.
Although it is a bit frustrating to have to ask others for help at the moment.
"How can we refine Qi and transform it into spirit?"
Shen Zhigui pondered secretly in his heart, but still followed Wendy and went with him to a musical instrument stall to buy a flute.
Thinking of the "wear and tear" problem that Zhongli mentioned, Shen Zhigui also bought one under Wendy's guidance.

Chapter 69: Whose Jade Flute Is Playing in the Dark (Part 2)
"Cheers to Captain Qin!"
The drinker next to him immediately raised his glass and shouted.
Everyone responded loudly.
Some people even openly went crazy:
"Captain Qin, my Captain Qin, I really want to be your dog..."
Amid the chaotic noise, the drunken Wendy simply said, "Choosing to live too soberly is a kind of freedom, and choosing to live a life of drunkenness and dreams is also a kind of freedom. It is indeed as you said, the price of freedom often requires the efforts of another part of the people to pay, but standing up to protect the freedom of others is also a kind of freedom, isn't it? That Captain Qin must have chosen to join the Knights of Favonius because he could see the smiles of these people, right?"
"how about you?"
"I choose to be half drunk and half awake."
Wendy said with a smile, raising her glass and taking another sip.
"Cheers to the half-drunk and half-awake Yu!"
The drinkers shouted again.
Shen Zhigui shook the cup in his hand, stared at the liquid flowing in it, and was silent for a moment, but then said: "But the most difficult thing for a creature like human is to be sober when it is time to be sober, and confused when it is time to be confused. Most of the time, we are neither sober enough nor confused enough, so we can never recognize the external reality and the inner self, so we always lose our way, and end up falling into a swamp that is difficult to escape from."
"Even in free Mond?"
"In fact, it's more difficult in Mondstadt."
"why?"
Wendy asked curiously.
"Because being in Mondstadt makes it harder to perceive the boundaries of freedom."
“Cheers to free borders!”
The drunkards sitting next to them had completely lost their minds, so they just shouted casually when they heard the boy's words, and the others responded one after another. Only a few who were still slightly sober looked at the person who shouted at the beginning, and then realized that he was just parroting. The two handsome boys who could say "the limit of freedom" at this time must be the two handsome boys who were communicating.
Wendy thought of the old nobles who enslaved the people in Mondstadt after he ascended to the throne and transformed it into a country with spring all year round, and then fell into a deep sleep. For a moment, he could only smile bitterly:
"But isn't it time for you to be sober when you should be confused?"
"So I am not suitable to be a Mond."
Shen Zhigui said.
Wendy examined him quietly for a moment, and finally shook his head, took out the newly bought flute, and played a few tunes. It was as if a cool night breeze rushed into the tavern, blowing away the original frenzy and calming the surging waves. After hearing the prelude, these people couldn't help but stop their noisy voices and listened carefully. Shen Zhigui, who was sitting opposite him, couldn't help but recall the boring world in the past without true energy and elemental power in such music, and those memories were so long ago that they seemed like things from the last life -
Although he did miss it a bit.
But he wasn't the type to get stuck in memories.
