"What?! Amane actually proposed to Shiina-senpai with fireworks in Shiroi Koibito Park! My God..."
Nanase's mouth dropped open in shock. Looking at Nanase's exaggerated expression, which looked like it could fit an egg, Tianze thought to himself that Nanase was a country bumpkin with no knowledge.
But when Tianze saw the photos of the fireworks in the sky where Amane was kneeling and "proposing" to Shiina, she was so jealous that she picked up a tomato from the table and started eating it, as if only in this way could she relieve her jealousy.
"It wasn't a marriage proposal, it was just a confession of love..."
Shiina explained shyly to the two of them, then sat down behind Amane like a virtuous wife, clinging to her like a little bird.
Seeing this, Horikita glanced mischievously at Arisu, who was busy cooking with Ichinose.
Arisu, perhaps having overheard what was said earlier, glanced into the room and then let out a soft hum.
Although she was indeed the one who facilitated this.
But now she's starting to regret it. If she hadn't been so determined to bring Shiina together, that almost-proposal confession would have been hers!
Although Amane gave her White Lover chocolates after she returned, how could that compare to the scene of proposing to her in front of so many people?
Arisu secretly decided that if she were to marry Amane, she would make Amane create a grand spectacle, preferably one that would attract the attention of the entire capital. Proposals should be high-profile, after all...
hateful!!
Arisu admitted that she was a little jealous. Ichinose, who was standing next to her, noticed Arisu's jealousy and couldn't help but laugh out loud, only to be met with a speechless glare from Arisu.
It's not like you were once so eager to get yourself on the Ferris wheel anymore.
When Megumi, Horikita, and Ichinose heard about this, Horikita immediately pulled Amane aside and gave her a lecture on love. Megumi sat there pouting, feeling utterly devastated. It wasn't until Amane fed her several boxes of chocolates that Megumi calmed down. Ichinose's expression at the time was as if he wanted to devour Shiina. The fact that even the usually gentle and tolerant Ichinose could break down and confess his feelings shows just how shocking the scene was.
"Tianyin, I have something I want to talk to you about... Can you come out for a bit?"
Hui suddenly stood up and asked Tianyin a question.
It's easy to tell from the bag Hui is holding that she wants to give Tianyin a gift, but what kind of gift is it that she wants to give separately?
Just as everyone was wondering what was in Megumi's bag, Nanase suddenly stood up.
"Senior Hui, you can't sneak a bite! We're all having dinner together later, and there's a raffle at Tianyin tonight, sob sob sob..."
"Sorry, this idiot is talking nonsense again. You guys continue."
Tenze skillfully covered Nanase's mouth and dragged her to a corner, giving her a stern scolding.
Nanase was so startled that her Santa hat fell off, revealing a head of beautiful long blonde hair...
cough.
Hui coughed lightly, drawing Tianyin's attention back to her.
"No problem, then Hui and I will go out for a bit and we'll be back in a little while."
When Hui saw that Tianyin had agreed, a look of joy appeared on her face.
"Then it's settled. I'll go outside and wait for you. And also, I won't steal any food!!"
"That's hard to say."
Horikita rolled her eyes at Megumi; when it came to stealing food from her, Megumi had done it quite a few times.
According to Amane's own testimony, she would have the urge to push Hui down if she stared at Hui's face for ten seconds.
Hui was happy to see this happen, so the two of them often went to important occasions to talk about life.
"I'm not that kind of person! It was Honami who stole the most food! *sigh*"
After saying that, Hui ran out in a flash. Ichinose, who was cooking, heard this and chased after her with the cleaver she was chopping vegetables. When she saw that Hui had already disappeared, she was so angry that her cheeks puffed up.
"Hui is spreading rumors! Everyone knows she likes to be out with Tianyin..."
"Ahem, I'm going to find Hui now, I'll be back in a bit."
Hearing that Ichinose was about to expose her past again, Amane quickly changed her shoes and chased after Megumi out of the room.
As Hui left the dormitory lobby, she stood on a bench not far away and waved to Tianyin.
It was Christmas time, and the entire road was decorated with lights and various festive decorations.
Amane walked through the path filled with Christmas decorations and came to Megumi's side.
"Why are you making such a fuss about it?"
"This is my Christmas present for you... I'm a little embarrassed to give it to you in front of everyone because it's a bit ugly."
Upon hearing that it was a Christmas gift, Tianyin eagerly took the bag from Hui's hand.
"It's okay, I'm still wearing the scarf you gave me..."
"This time it's a scarf too."
"Ahem... The scarf... The scarf is great too! I love the scarf you knitted for me the most, Hui. This little dog is quite cute..."
"That's a bear."
Hui's expression, as if she was about to cry, made Tianyin start to panic. It wasn't that Tianyin was deliberately trying to make Hui cry; it was just that she genuinely didn't recognize that thing as a bear. It looked exactly like a puppy, so she really couldn't be blamed.
"I like everything, but of course, my favorite is you, Hui."
In a moment of quick thinking, Tianyin hugged Hui tightly, and while doing so, put on the slightly rough bear scarf, gazing at Hui with tender affection.
"Really? I've heard you have many favorite people."
"At least right now, you're my favorite person."
"Tsk! Smooth talker! I actually have another gift..."
As Hui spoke, her face turned bright red. After hesitating for a while, she finally mustered up the courage to take off her coat.
Amane couldn't help but widen her eyes when she saw the reindeer-print 30-style underwear that Hui was wearing inside.
"benefit……"
"I can do it... There aren't many people passing by here... If I'm careful..."
……
Lying in Tianyin's arms, Hui recalled the words she had spoken before leaving, and her face turned extremely red with embarrassment. If she went back now and said that she hadn't stolen any food, she would be lying through her teeth.
She started to regret being so proactive; she should have waited until after dinner when everyone had left...
Should I find somewhere to hide?
Seeing that Hui was only now thinking about how to meet everyone later, Tenon patted Hui's head helplessly.
"Well, since things have come to this, let's just go back."
"Arisu and the others will definitely talk about me..."
"That's true. Then I'll trouble you, Hui, to take the blame for me!"
"You bad guy, you bad guy, you bad guy!!! You were calling me Megumi-chan just now, how come you're making me go get a lesson from Arisu now, you big bad guy!"
As Tianyin watched Hui snuggling in her arms, she suddenly remembered something.
"Hui, do you remember the letter you wrote to me?"
Hui seemed a little bewildered by Tianyin's sudden question.
"Faith? What faith?"
"Ahem, dear Tianyin..."
"Aaaaaah!!!!!!!!! Stop reading! Stop reading!!!!!!!!!!"
Tianyin had only uttered the first word "Koukou Hui" when someone blushed and started gesturing wildly, trying to interrupt Tianyin's chanting.
She knew the contents of the letter all too well. It was a love letter she had written to Tianyin a year ago, but Tianyin told her to go back and wait for a notification, and that wait has been... Could it be that...?
Hui seemed to have thought of something and stared at Tianyin with a hopeful expression.
"After a year of evaluation and observation, congratulations, Karuizawa! I now officially accept you as my lover. I hope you will remain humble and modest..."
Wow!
Before Tianyin could finish speaking, Hui threw herself into Tianyin's arms and began to sob. Seeing Hui like this, Tianyin smiled and patted Hui's back.
"Just accepting your confession shouldn't make you cry like this, right? Okay, okay, stop crying, or you'll look ugly."
Upon hearing Tianyin say that she was no longer pretty, Hui immediately stopped crying. Originally, she was not a girl who cared about her appearance or liked to dress up, but ever since Tianyin said that she liked her appearance, Hui had become particularly concerned about her appearance, fearing that one day Tianyin would get tired of her and throw her away.
Now I can finally relax.
"Do you know how long I've waited for today? Everyone else might not say anything, but only I know that out of all your girlfriends, I'm the least capable. I can't help you at all. And you, you bastard, won't even officially agree to date me. Do you know how I've been these past few days? I've been living in fear and trembling every day, afraid that one day you'll be unhappy and leave me with a heartless 'Don't see me again' and throw me away..."
As Tianyin listened to Hui's tearful account, the smile on her face gradually disappeared. Only then did she realize how serious the consequences of her little trick to tease Hui had become.
Seeing Hui's reddened eyes, Tianyin hugged Hui tightly with heartache.
"It was my fault. It was a bit much for me to joke about something like that. But ever since that day, I've always put Hui in the same place in my heart as Lingyin and the others. In my eyes, we are already a couple."
After Tianyin finished speaking, she gently kissed Huina's warm and soft lips.
Hui raised her head and stared at Tianyin for a long time, then quickly kissed Tianyin's cheek like a chick pecking at rice.
"I know, that's why I've been waiting for your approval. Now that I've finally received it, please take good care of me from now on, Tianyin."
"Yes, please take care of me for the rest of my life, Megumi-chan~"
"Hmm...wait, the rest of my life???"
……
Hui, blushing with embarrassment, returned to the room. As expected, she was teased by everyone and eventually had to hide in the bathroom to change her clothes and wash herself.
However, Amane remained completely unfazed by the teasing and instead pulled Arisu into her arms, letting Arisu shield her from the jokes.
After Hui changed her clothes and sat down, everyone's eyes turned to Tianyin.
Tianyin picked up a glass of tomato juice and slowly scanned each person's face.
Arisu, Kaede, Suzune, Megumi, Honami, Kikyo, Airi, Miyabi, Tsubasa, Ichika, Hiyori, Masumi, Mio...
The scene of everyone gathering together was quite spectacular, the small dormitory was packed to the brim, but unfortunately Sae and Chie were too embarrassed to attend.
The rest of the people had already gathered here.
Seeing so many familiar faces, Tianyin was overwhelmed with emotion and had so much to say, but when she opened her mouth, she didn't know where to begin.
First of all, Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!
Secondly, I wish that we can all be together forever in the future…
"Sigh, Tianyin, when did you become so fussy? Do you think anyone would be willing to abandon you and run away?"
Arisu reached out and gently flicked Amane's head.
"Hahahaha, I was being sentimental. I hope we can all work together more in the future, and tonight too! Nobody's allowed to run away! Cheers!!!"
"Wait a minute??? Aren't you afraid of being exhausted with so many people?"
"Cheers first! We can talk about tonight's plans later!"
"Whatever, I expected this to happen anyway, cheers!!!"
Led by Amane and Arisu, everyone's cups clinked together.
From this moment on, the threads of everyone's fate become inextricably intertwined, eventually merging into one another following the trajectory of destiny.
Finish.
Author's Closing Remarks
It's finished! Hooray!
When I wrote the word 'The End', I felt a mix of reluctance and disappointment. I was reluctant because the story of Tianyin had finally come to an end, and I was saddened not only because I had to say goodbye to all the readers who had supported me, but also because I felt sad that I had created such a mediocre work.
The ending might feel rushed, but the story is indeed over. If we really wanted to continue, there would be so much more to write, such as the sequel to Chabashira and Hoshinomiya, the graduation ceremony of Kaede, and the storylines of Kikyo, Airi, Ibuki, and Kamuro, which had less screen time after everyone confirmed their romantic relationships.
Actually, I had already prepared the outline for the third grade, so there should have been a lot to write. However, the main story has indeed been told. I could have written another grade and added a million words, but I felt that would be unfair to everyone and my supporters. So I gave up the third grade story and apologize to everyone.
This is my first time writing a novel, and I've never written more than 100,000 words before. I've even read very few online novels, so I encountered all sorts of problems right from the start, including illogical plots, illogical paragraphing, illogical word choice, poor writing skills, and illogical punctuation, among many others.
During the creative process, I also listened to everyone's comments and made revisions accordingly. Towards the end, I was able to write fluently. I am very grateful to every lovely person who gave me suggestions. Without you all, I would not have been able to get to where I am today and grow as much as I have.
You might not believe it, but the whole book started without any outline from the beginning. I just started writing it on a whim because of my interest, and I often only knew the plot an hour earlier than you.
Because although I temporarily supplemented the outline later, there was no detailed outline for the chapters and no drafts at all. So I wrote and published on the spot every day, which inevitably led to some omissions. In addition, the author is really fragile, updates are slow and I often take leave. I am a little embarrassed to face everyone. I can only thank all the readers for pointing out the omissions and for their understanding.
Finally, let me talk about my plans for the new book. Some people asked me what I was going to write about, but I didn't answer them because I didn't have any ideas at the time. Now, my next book is basically finalized. It will be a relatively niche book about Digimon that is completely unrelated to the school theme.
