NO51. Lazarus Pool

Originally, Batman wanted to keep Shiva in the laboratory, but Valerie said that this guy was cunning and cruel, and he might escape at any time, so he pulled her here.

After watching Batman take the rope, Valerie came to the iceberg and took out a bazooka.

"Threats are meaningless to someone who has nothing!" Mr. Freeze raised his right arm, which had a gun strapped to it.

"Found it!" At this moment, Valerie suddenly shouted.

She raised the bazooka and fired a shot at the ceiling.

The ceiling shattered, and a group of ninjas, still dressed thinly in the snow and ice, fell from it.

A group of people were stunned. The only few sober ones, after realizing that they had fallen to the ground, immediately jumped up on the spot, did a few backflips, and got ready.

Only an old man in a suit did not move at all, just lying on the ground wailing.

This guy is obviously Boyle.

The main purpose of the confrontation between Batman and Mr. Freeze just now was to delay time for Valerie to find the hostage.

"It seems that the information from the insider is correct. You have indeed teamed up with Shiva." A black-haired female ninja pulled out a knife from her waist.

She didn't think that an amateur like Valerie and a jack of all trades like Batman could find her. There must be someone secretly plotting against them.

Boyle shrank into a ball.

"You mean... the Lazarus Pool?" Batman mused.

"You seem to know?" Valerie was disappointed. She wanted to show off her erudition to Batman.

Just then, Mr. Freeze suddenly asked, "What is the Lazarus Pool?"

"This is not a good thing..." Batman tried to dispel Mr. Freeze's interest in this.

PS: I prefer Mr. Freeze, and these chapters are also original based on the basic settings, but I really didn't expect such a big reaction from everyone. I have learned my lesson. In the future, I will write this kind of longer supporting character's flashback origin story in the extra chapter at the end of the volume, which will not affect the normal update.

Batman rushed forward, he wanted to rescue Boyle first.

Valerie drew her knife and looked at Nisha: "It seems that your fragile alliance has collapsed. Do you want to join us in taking down Mr. Freeze?"

Nisha slashed at Valerie first: "I will not cooperate with the devil's accomplices!"

"I've already told you that he's just a tool." Valerie slashed Nisha's sword in half with a horizontal slash. "It seems like you're also a stubborn person."

Nisha retreated immediately, and the assassins who were ready to strike on both sides immediately drove forward and tried to stop Valerie.

On the other side, Batman rushed to Boyle and immediately pressed the thermal gloves made by Valerie on Boyle's frozen body, trying to get him out quickly.

Mr. Freeze was half-kneeling, and the armor that restricted his movement prevented him from standing up for a while, but he still raised his gun and pointed it at Batman, gathering energy at the muzzle.

We can't continue fighting like this, we need to protect Nora first.

Victor pointed his gun at the ground, gathering energy at the muzzle. He wanted to build an ice wall here.

At this moment, a pink blade chopped out from the side, cutting Mr. Freeze's nearly two-meter-long gun barrel in half.

The charging was interrupted, and only a white mist spurted out of Mr. Freeze's gun.

Mr. Freeze looked in disbelief at Valerie, who had suddenly appeared beside him.

Victor calmed down and immediately punched Valerie on the head, but she caught it with one hand.

Mr. Freeze pushed her off the platform, over the struggling Nyssa and Batman, and finally crashed straight into the frosted wall of the ice house.
