Today they were going to start practicing the Patronus Charm.

Even the Aurors may not know how to perform this spell, and Professor Hilde had never thought of teaching such a complicated spell in the fifth grade.

The last lesson before Easter.

Harry had already let go of Qiu Zhang, and he explained to everyone how to use the spell.

He reminded everyone that training the Patronus Charm can certainly protect oneself well, but the specific results still need to be seen in actual application.

They practiced in a brightly lit classroom, their minds filled with memories of fun and entertainment.

If facing Dementors, whether they can be summoned is also a question.

Qiu Zhang looked at the swan guardian he had summoned with obsession in his eyes.

The Patronus is indeed very beautiful.

Lavender looked at the swan with envy; her Patronus Charm was only a silver mist.

Hermione's Patronus is an otter.

The atmosphere was joyful and peaceful.

But this atmosphere disappeared as the door opened.

It was Dobby, his eyes wide with fear.

He came to tell Harry the news, but due to his identity as a house-elf, he couldn't say it out loud.

Harry guessed and finally found out what was going on.

Someone has tipped off that Umbridge is coming.

When the news came out, everyone was stunned.

"What are you waiting for?" Harry shouted, "Run!"

The DA army members scattered like birds and beasts, scrambling to run out of the door.

But when the door opened, an old woman in pink clothes moved a chair and sat there leisurely.

A boy in Slytherin uniform next to them kept taking pictures with a camera, and everyone who came out had their face photographed.

There's no point in running away.

Harry ran out and was also caught by the flash.

He turned pale, but Umbridge's smile became even more obnoxious and disgusting.

No one expected that they would be wiped out in one fell swoop.

All these people were detained.

Locked in a classroom.

Umbridge sat at the front, playing with the long quill in her hand.

"Tell me that Harry Potter was the initiator."

Her voice echoed in the classroom.

The atmosphere was quite depressing, and everyone had a feather pen on their desk.

Harry recognized it; he had a scar on the back of his hand that he still had from it.

Umbridge came up to a girl, her flabby face looking so scary.

Hannah Abbott's tears fell, but this could not arouse Umbridge's sympathy. She touched Hannah's head and asked questions in a coquettish voice.

"Was it Harry Potter who took the lead in setting up that place?"

Hannah was in tears and shaking her head.

Umbridge gave an affected laugh and walked towards the other man.

This time it was Hermione.

"No one organized it, we were just passing by there." Hermione answered first.

Umbridge looked at her and said softly, "You shouldn't have lied."

She looked at everyone again and said in a louder voice, "None of you should lie."

"I need you to copy down some sentences until someone comes forward to identify Harry Potter."

Harry glared at her and Ron held his hand down, whispering, "Don't give her the chance to fire you, mate."

They could all see that Umbridge wanted them to identify Harry so that she could expel him.

As long as they didn't talk, Umbridge couldn't do anything to them.

After exchanging glances, they both made up their minds.

Umbridge asked them to pick up their quills and start writing on the parchment.

"I hope you can study hard and become useful to the magical world."

Umbridge said hypocritically, "The failure of your education has turned you into undisciplined and lying students."

"I need you to write. I can't lie."

After saying that, she smiled.

"Write it then," Seamus said unconvincedly.

He picked up the quill and wrote on the parchment.

But as he was writing, he discovered something was wrong.

Not only him, but other students also gasped.

Bright red writing appeared on the back of his hand, as if it was carved into the skin.

Umbridge sat in her chair and listened with her eyes closed, as if she were listening to a concert.

The students wrote with great pain, some broke down and sobbed, and some had faces full of agony.

As Umbridge enjoyed the concert, the door to the classroom opened.

It's Dumbledore.

...

Chapter 341 Punishment and Resignation

"Dumbledore."

Umbridge slowly opened her eyes.

Professor McGonagall called Dumbledore over. Her stern expression showed a hint of distress as she went over to check on the students.

Dumbledore walked in calmly and asked, "Inquisitor Umbridge, I wonder what my students have done to deserve punishment here?"

"They violated the Education Order and gathered together privately to create... Dumbledore's Army, right?" Umbridge asked the Slytherin next to her.

If Pansy were here, she would recognize this as her studious boyfriend.

"No, she's talking nonsense!" George protested loudly.

Fred shouted just as loudly, "We didn't do anything, she was just talking nonsense."

"Really?" Umbridge said to Dumbledore with an obscene smile, "I have told Minister Crouch about this. He is very interested in Dumbledore's Army and is on his way."

"Then please allow us to change the venue to receive our Minister Crouch." Dumbledore replied calmly, unchanged for thousands of years.

Umbridge's purpose was to bring down Dumbledore, and everything else was secondary.

So she took Harry and went to Dumbledore's office.

Harry was dragged to the headmaster's office. He tried to talk to Dumbledore several times, but saw that the other party looked away.

Before they arrived, someone had already arrived outside the office.

It was old Barty and his gang, and he brought two Aurors with him.

One of them is Kingsley, and it seems that old Batty trusts him very much.

"Barty," Dumbledore greeted him.

Old Batty said with a somewhat unpleasant expression, "I heard from the investigator that you want to form an army in school?"

If it were anything else, old Barty would have definitely let Umbridge play on her own.

But this time, Umbridge told him that Dumbledore was organizing an army in the school, which made old Barty unable to sit still.

When he entered the office, old Batty's face didn't look much better.

"Dumbledore, I need to tell you," said Old Barty after he came to the office, "Although you have resigned as Chief Wizard of the Wizengamot, you still need to abide by the law."

"What will the parents of those students think of you?" Old Barty accused Dumbledore.

Umbridge was afraid that Dumbledore would quibble, so she stepped forward flatteringly and said, "Minister Crouch, I have received a report of this behavior. Do you need me to bring out the witness?"

It seems that Umbridge is fully prepared, so old Barty is not a problem.

Umbridge went out for a while and came back with a girl who was covering her face.

Harry recognized the girl; it was Qiu Zhang's friend, Marietta.

But her face became very ugly, with a series of densely packed purple pustules forming the word "snitch" on her face.

Harry immediately remembered that Hermione had tampered with the signature.

Umbridge recounted the story of the informant, which made Harry very angry.

"Shut up," Old Barty interrupted Umbridge, staring at Marietta and said strangely, "Why isn't she talking?"

"I haven't found a counter-curse for that yet," Umbridge admitted grudgingly.

Harry felt a surge of pride at this; Hermione's spellcasting abilities were very impressive.

Umbridge saw that Barty was about to get angry, so she said hastily, "Education Order No. 24 has been in effect for nearly six months. Any gathering during this period is illegal."

"Well," said Dumbledore, examining Umbridge with a mixture of politeness and interest, "if they do continue to meet after this decree comes into force then they may of course be breaking the law."

When Umbridge was about to smile, Dumbledore changed the subject and said, "But what evidence do you have to prove that there were such gatherings later?"

As Harry listened to Dumbledore's words, he heard rustling behind him and Kingsley muttering something under his breath.

There was a brief moment of confusion in Marietta's eyes.

Umbridge naturally had evidence, and although she couldn't make Marietta speak, she could make her nod.

But the facts were unexpected. The whistleblower Marietta actually denied it all.

Professor McGonagall was also here, joining in the questioning.

The result was obvious, and Harry suspected that Kingsley had just muttered some kind of spell.

Let Marietta respond in the opposite direction.

Umbridge got angry and roughly turned Marietta over and shook her violently.

For the first time, Dumbledore showed anger on his face. Umbridge let go of Marietta and waved her hands around as if they were burned.

"I will not allow you to treat my students harshly!" Dumbledore said angrily.

Old Barty's brows were always frowning, and Umbridge quickly took out a list and handed it to him.

Seeing the signature above, Old Barty took a deep breath and said, "Dumbledore, I need you to tell me that this is a farce."

"Now that we have been discovered," Dumbledore said calmly, unconventionally, "I acknowledge the existence of Dumbledore's Army."

"What?" said old Batty, sternly. "You know what this means."

"Of course," Harry was about to say something but was interrupted by Dumbledore, "that's Dumbledore's Army, not Potter's Army."

"I don't think I can stay in school any longer," Dumbledore said, leaving Harry stunned. He winked at Harry and said, "I will resign and take all responsibility."

"Dumbledore, if you want to pay for your students," said old Barty, with a strange look in his eyes and a dry cough, "then I agree to your resignation."

Dumbledore resigned?

Harry froze.
