It's okay for John to help as long as he can.

Hermione also knew this, and after thinking of Harry, she said, "It's not me, it's Harry."

"Harry?" John asked.

"Harry wants to use the fire in the Slytherin common room, and I think..." Hermione also wanted to borrow it.

John said apologetically, "If it's a fire, I'm afraid not."

"Ah?" Hermione was stunned.

John then said, "There was some trouble with the Slytherin fire."

Something's wrong with the Slytherin fire?

That was not a lie, John also found out about it not long ago.

The fire was modified, with just one more monitor.

Very hidden.

John immediately knew who was responsible, most likely Pansy's boyfriend.

The child's connection with the outside world was through the fire.

Plus, John didn't think it was necessary to lend it to Harry.

Hermione also felt it was very unfortunate. Something had just gone wrong, so she could only try another method.

"Well then," Hermione didn't think John would lie to her, and started talking about career guidance, "What did you choose John?"

John leaned on the handrail of the covered bridge, the wind blowing through his hair and cheeks, and asked casually, "What do you choose?"

"I'm still hesitating," Hermione thought for a moment and said, "I want to join the Ministry of Magic."

"That's great too, maybe you can become the Minister of Magic." John said jokingly.

Hermione felt that he was teasing her, but she also felt that there was a power in his words that made people believe.

"Never say you can't do something, Hermione Granger." John looked into the distance.

Hermione heard this and looked at John again.

The wind blew up the boy's black hair, revealing his thin cheeks. His eyes were looking into the distance, and his thin lips were pale red, as if they could be blown away by the wind.

At that moment, John seemed distant and ethereal.

"I should go now, Hermione," John looked down at the dazed Hermione and chuckled, "I wish you a good result in your OWL exam."

When Hermione came back to her senses, she realized that she had been looking at it for a while. She felt a little embarrassed, but when she mentioned her grades, she said with full fighting spirit, "I will surpass you this time."

"Haha, then go for it, Hermione."

John walked towards the castle, waving behind his back to Hermione.

Hermione looked at the back and asked in a mysterious way, "John, we will always be good friends, right?"

John paused, tilted his head to reveal his handsome face, and raised the corner of his mouth, "I think so."

Hermione stood there and watched John go.

Malfoy saw John and complained while holding the book: "This thing is really not something that ordinary people can read."

"If you don't want to be called by Snape to make up lessons." John glanced at him and said indifferently: "You can think about Harry."

When Malfoy heard that Harry was called for private tutoring because of his poor performance in Potions, he had no interest in it even though Snape was his head of house.

"Well, I think I can still work harder. You have to help me with Transfiguration." Malfoy was a little weak in some subjects.

As John walked along, he said in a casual tone, "Draco, what would happen to you if I died?"

Looking back, he saw Malfoy standing there in horror.

Malfoy managed a playful smile, swallowed and said, "You're kidding, right?"

John was silent for a while, then chuckled and said, "Of course, do you think I will die?"

Malfoy breathed a sigh of relief, hurriedly followed, and complained: "Even if you don't want to help me with tutoring, you don't have to curse yourself like this, right?"

"If you don't work harder on your Transfiguration, I'm afraid I'll be really pissed off." John responded to him easily.

Neither of them continued the previous topic.

...

John was called in for a talk about career guidance.

Walking into Snape's office, John discovered that the Pensieve had been moved.

"Sit down, Mr. Wick." Snape had just finished talking with Goyle. Judging from his expression, it seemed that Goyle's plan was not that good.

And when he saw John, Snape showed a high level of concentration.

He adjusted his position so that he could get a better look at John.

"Wick, I'd like to know some of your thoughts on employment so that you can decide which... subjects you should continue to study in your sixth and seventh years." Snape used his usual drawling tone as he examined John.

"Compared to Mr. Goyle, I think you don't have a brain like a hairy giant." Snape seemed to be telling a joke, but it was not funny.

Snape continued to stare at John with that scrutinizing gaze, and said sarcastically, "Go ahead, Wick."

“Maybe I’ll be a different person,” John said, shrugging, “somewhere in a position that’s not for me.”

"So," Snape's eyes revealed a sharp look, "what do you want to accomplish yourself?"

"Let's take a closer look, Wick."

Snape lowered his crossed legs, interlaced his fingers on the table and faced John, "What do you want to be, Wick?"

"That doesn't sound like career guidance," John said calmly, meeting those scrutinizing eyes. "Which word do you want to hear from me, professor?"

The office was very quiet, and the two people's eyes met, bringing about a silent collision.

John broke the silence with a short, sharp laugh, and looked at Snape, shaking his head and laughing.

"What's so funny, Wick?" Snape frowned in dissatisfaction.

John raised his gaze to the ceiling where the light was shining, and said with a smile, "I remembered my past dreams."

"dream?"

"Become the next... Dumbledore." John's smile was unclear whether he was mocking himself or Snape.

"Unfortunately, this dream didn't last long." He shifted his gaze to Snape's stunned expression, and chuckled, "Now I don't want to be anyone else. John Wick is just John Wick."

"Not the next Albus Dumbledore, nor the next...Tom Riddle."

He leaned back in his chair, in a comfortable and relaxed state, and said, "Professor, are you satisfied with this answer?"

Snape was silent for a moment and said in a vague voice, "Wick, you can go out now."

John stood up and walked to the door, stopping without looking back and said, "What do you live for in your life, Professor?"

Snape looked up; John had not turned.

"Forget it if you don't tell me."

Shrugging, John walked out.

Walking into the corridor, John staggered and held onto the wall.

Sweat covered his forehead, and John's face was pale.

He leaned against the wall and took a deep breath to recover.

He took out the silver bottle and took a sip of the medicine inside, and the color on his face gradually returned.

“It’s really a huge investment.”

His face was full of coldness. He put the exquisite silver bottle into his pocket and staggered towards the auditorium.

By the time he arrived at the auditorium, he had returned to normal.

He accidentally bumped into someone and looked down. It was Pansy's ex-boyfriend.

A third-year Slytherin student, he was picking up the silver bottle that John had dropped with a look of panic on his face.

"I'm sorry, I, I didn't mean it." Handing the bottle to John, Pansy's ex-boyfriend asked curiously, "Senior Wick, what's in it?"

"It has nothing to do with you," John said coldly, "You should think about how to please the guy you're hanging out with. Maybe your tricks on little girls will work."

Pansy's ex-boyfriend looked a little unhappy, and after John walked past, a hint of hostility appeared in his eyes.

Not long after John entered the auditorium, he heard some noise in the foyer.

"Well, you think it's fun to turn the school into a swamp?" Umbridge's high-pitched voice rang out with pride.

To cover for Harry using the Umbridge fireplace, the Weasley twins created chaos in the entrance hall, surrounded by students who witnessed the event.

The twins seemed to have made plans for this matter.

They were surrounded and looked like they had nowhere to go.

"It's quite entertaining, all right." Fred looked at Umbridge fearlessly.

"Very good," Umbridge laughed angrily, "you two will learn what punishment you will receive for committing crimes in my school."

Her school?

It seemed that she thought the Ministry would leave the school to her care.

"You know what," Fred said, "I don't think we're going to get that."

He looked at George and said, "George, I don't think we are fit for full-time education anymore."

"Fred, I feel the same way." George gave the twins' signature unruly smile.

Fred said, "We should go out into the real world and use our talents, don't you think?"

George said with a look of approval, "Absolutely right."

Without waiting for Umbridge to speak, the two used the Summoning Charm to summon their brooms.

Two brooms with chains fell into their hands and the two men sat on them.

Fred: "We won't see you again."

George: "Don't bother contacting us."

Fred looked at the students who were watching and smiled his signature smile again with George.

The two of them flew up, and their magpie-like laughter, bringing joy, echoed in the hallway.

Twins always have wonderful ideas.

"If you want to buy the portable swamp shown upstairs," Fred shouted.

George shouted, "Come to 93 Diagon Alley, Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes!"

"Stop them!" Umbridge roared angrily.

"Peeves, teach her a lesson for us!"

The two cheered in unison, and Peeves emerged from the ceiling, taking off his cloche hat for the second time and saluting the two Hogwarts troublemakers.

The flying broom carries the joy of Hogwarts, and the two magpies chirp, not forgetting to leave laughter for Hogwarts in the end.

The unfettered look is the true Gryffindor.

The crowd burst into thunderous applause.

John smiled and looked towards the swamp, muttering softly, "There are still good things like this that haven't been brought out yet. Let Tang Mi increase their investment and bring out the ideas in that clever guy's head."

He felt that the most indispensable thing in the wizarding world was eccentric people like the Weasley twins.
