Coming out of the basement, he met an unexpected guest.

Dudley.

...

Chapter 413: Visit to Dursley

Dudley had lost a lot of weight.

At least the tonnage of that young whale has turned into muscle.

Conversely, because of this, Dudley became more handsome.

I heard that he met a girlfriend at school.

John could only say that these people had no concept of puppy love at all.

This was the first time that Dudley had taken the initiative to visit the Wick family.

The last time he came here was because Dudley ate some Fat Tongue Toffee and John helped him fix the problem of him almost choking.

Mrs. Wick let the people in. Dudley was very reserved and didn't look like the school bully at all.

This is also the case in the Wick family. In school, Dudley relies on his boxing skills and is a school bully.

Seeing John coming out, Dudley stood up subconsciously.

It's like seeing a leader.

John asked him to sit down and asked puzzledly, "You looking for me?"

Dudley hesitated, but finally made up his mind and asked, "My mother said that the murderer has come out?"

"murderer?"

"V-Voldemort." Dudley thought for a while before he remembered the name.

It seems that he also heard some information from Harry's group.

John motioned for him to continue, and Dudley said, "That guy would kill someone like me, wouldn't he?"

"Harry's parents were killed by him."

Dudley was very scared and said, "They won't show mercy to us either."

"Mother didn't say, but she's very scared," Dudley hesitated and said through gritted teeth, "Can I ask you to protect us?"

Seeing John in deep thought, he quickly said, "You can ask for money, we should be able to afford it."

He tried to impress John with money.

Dudley didn't think Harry could protect them, and although the situation had eased a bit, it was still not much better.

Those dangerous guys can even turn people into pig tails. The only people Dudley can trust are his neighbors, the Wick family.

As for the others, he didn't like them at all.

John thought for a moment and said, "I need to go to school and I can't protect you all the time."

Dudley looked lost.

"But I have another way."

After a twist, John went to the basement and took out three things.

A puppy sculpture, a Watson's Wizard chess soldier, a wooden shield.

"If you put these three things in your home, they will protect you if someone invades."

John handed the stuff to Dudley.

These three things are not ordinary. The puppy sculptures and soldiers have been cast with Transfiguration and Enlargement spells, which are more than enough to deal with ordinary wizards.

The wooden shield has added armor spells and expulsion spells, which can instantly deploy a barrier to repel outsiders.

Anyone who is not invited to enter is considered an outsider.

It was originally a new household product that could prevent intruders and repel unwanted guests.

John hasn't been released yet, but he can give it to the Dursleys first.

Dudley was extremely happy and thanked him repeatedly.

"Dudley," John called him before Dudley left, and said seriously, "You have grown up and learned to protect your family."

Dudley was startled, a little bewildered by the sudden recognition.

He was still dazed as he walked back to the Dursleys'.

Petunia Dursley found her son absent-minded and thought he was being bullied at school.

She walked up and asked with concern: "Dada, what's wrong with you?"

"It's okay, Mom." Dudley glanced at the family photo on the table.

This was taken when he won the boxing championship this year. The family of three were all smiling brightly.

Especially Vernon Dursley, who shouted very proudly in the audience that day, "That's my son."

"Mom," he suddenly asked, "Do you think I'm a good child?"

"Of course," Penny smiled kindly, "You will always be my good son."

Dudley suddenly felt that he should be more sensible and not hang out with the gangsters at school.

He went upstairs and looked into the room at the end.

That was Harry's room.

Harry was like an ant on hot bricks, waiting for something at the window.

Perhaps it was because Dudley suddenly became mature, even Vernon, who was reading a newspaper in the living room, noticed that something was wrong.

"What happened to him?" Vernon asked in confusion, moving his eyes to the things on the table. "Did he join the drama club?"

Picking up the wooden shield, Vernon looked interested.

...

Wait until evening.

After dinner, the Dursleys saw Harry hurrying upstairs.

They now basically treat Harry as an invisible person. After all, this is how they have been living for so many years.

"Son, you did this?"

Vernon picked up a puppy sculpture and was about to praise Dali for his ingenuity.

"I got this from the Wicks," Dudley said as he swallowed the chicken breast, "It's something that can protect us."

"What?" Vernon's hands trembled and his eyes widened. "You mean that Wick boy gave this thing to you?"

Penny also put down the washed dishes and came over, and the three of them were all studying it.

Time passed by minute by minute.

Upstairs, Harry was waiting.

Dumbledore wrote to him three days ago, saying that he would come to pick him up at the Burrow at 11 o'clock tonight.

Harry had been sitting at his bedroom window since seven o'clock, which had a clear view of both junctions of Privet Drive.

He glanced at it every few minutes and had memorized the letter by heart.

Despite what happened at the Ministry of Magic, Dumbledore still chose to believe in the prophecy.

Harry also learned the full version of the prophecy from Dumbledore.

"Here comes the one who has power over the Dark Lord, born into a family that has thrice resisted him, born when July ends.

The Dark Lord would mark him as his greatest rival, but he would have powers the Dark Lord was unaware of.

One of them will die at the hand of the other, for both cannot live and only one survive.

The one who will defeat the Dark Lord will be born by the end of July."

Dumbledore told him that there were two boys born at the end of July, one of whom was Neville Longbottom.

But the point is not who it is, but who Voldemort chooses.

If Voldemort chose Harry Potter, then Harry would become the savior.

Dumbledore was not sure about the Horcruxes.

John claimed that he was better than everyone else in matters of the soul, but Dumbledore had always been synonymous with invincibility in Harry's mind.

The wait made Harry a little anxious. He began to worry that his owl had not delivered the reply to Dumbledore, or that this was a prank and Dumbledore might be delayed by other things...

Time passed by minute by minute until the minute hand on the alarm clock pointed to 12.

Almost at the same time, the street lights outside the window suddenly went out.

The sudden darkness woke Harry up like an alarm clock.

He pressed his nose to the window and squinted at the sidewalk below.

A tall figure in a long cloak was walking along the garden path.

The figure paused as he passed a house.

Harry jumped up as if he had been electrocuted, and even accidentally knocked over his chair.

He stuffed all the luggage he could use into the suitcase.

But he was still too slow, and the doorbell rang from downstairs.

Uncle Vernon's voice sounded puzzled, "What the hell, who is knocking on the door so late at night?"

Harry froze, having completely forgotten about telling the Dursleys about Dumbledore's arrival.

He hurriedly climbed over the suitcase, opened the bedroom door and ran downstairs.

The door just opened.

A deep voice sounded, "Good evening, I suppose you are Mr. Dursley? I believe Harry must have told you that I was coming to pick him up, didn't I?"

Vernon stared stiffly at the people outside.

His silver hair and beard reached down to his waist, and he wore a pair of half-moon glasses on his hooked nose.

A black traveling cloak and a pointed hat.

Needless to say, Vernon's surprised expression let Dumbledore know that Harry had not said that.

"Judging from your surprised and incredulous expression, Harry didn't tell you I was coming."

Dumbledore said affably, "But let us assume that you have warmly invited me into your home. In these turbulent times, it would be unwise to linger at the door for too long."

Having said that, Dumbledore was about to cross the threshold.

At this moment, the wooden shield that was placed in the house during the day burst out with a dazzling light.

The bad visitor came.

Expelled!

...

John just came back today and invited the Weasley twins, so he had time to go up to his attic.

Basil flapped its wings and flew to its own wardrobe. John saw letters being stuffed into the window gap.

Opening the window, he brought in all the letters.

Just as he was about to close the window, he saw a white light blooming in the Dursleys' house.

"?" He fell into deep thought.

The item was picked up in the afternoon and then triggered in the evening?

Did Harry suddenly want to kill the Dursleys?
