Chapter 450: Two Lanes Competition

This Christmas, the second brother of the Weasley family, Charlie Weasley, is back.

He had a broad, weather-beaten face, dotted with freckles so that it looked almost brown.

His arms were muscular, but he was wearing a sleeveless cotton coat in winter, and the exposed skin on his arms was white from being burned by the flames.

It was these wounds that brought him back for Christmas.

Mrs. Weasley cried, hugging her second son.

Charlie was more like Mrs. Weasley, being shorter and fatter than his brother.

Even when held in Mrs. Weasley's arms, he was still much taller.

"I can't believe that anything like that could happen," Mrs. Weasley said in fear, "and I can't believe that person would be you."

"Okay, Mom." Charlie patted his mother on the back.

Harry spent Christmas this year at the Burrow and the Black mansion. He saw Charlie and was curious about why he came back.

Ron went over to greet his brother and saw his white arms. He was surprised and asked, "When did you go for whitening?"

"This isn't whitening, Ronnie," Charlie said in a relaxed tone, holding out his arm, "This is burned by a dragon."

If you look closely, you will see that the white part is not there, but the skin on your arm that has been burned by the flames.

Harry couldn't bear to think about how painful that would be.

Charlie checked the time and muttered, "I have to put on some more medicine."

His exposed skin rubbed against his clothes and he grimaced in pain.

"Let me help you." Ron hurried over to help his brother.

Harry went over to help.

One of them held an oyster shell-shaped ointment and applied it to the white arm.

The cooling ointment made Charlie hum, and he looked very comfortable.

The Weasley twins came back. When they saw Charlie's miserable state, they stepped forward and said with a grin, "Do you need burn medicine? Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes is at your service."

"George."

"Come on, I'm George."

The twins standing aside spread their hands and looked speechless.

Charlie said, "Can't you stop embarrassing me for the sake of your brother?"

Twins are always mistaken for each other.

Bill also came back, and he brought his girlfriend Fleur with him. When they saw Charlie's appearance, they were both surprised.

"Dragon, I was sent to follow the dragon, but I was discovered. Hiss... Be gentle, Ron."

Ron's nails touched Charlie's skin, causing him to gasp.

Bill frowned and asked, "Why are you following the dragon?"

Charlie was about to speak when Harry suddenly said, "Dragon King."

"What?" The others were stunned and looked at Harry.

Harry saw this and said, "A dragon trainer mentioned it at Slughorn's party."

Charlie nodded and said, "You are talking about Warner, right? He always mentions his mentor."

"Dragon King?" Ron asked quickly, "What does that mean?"

"Literally," Charlie, as a dragon trainer, explained to everyone, "the lord of dragons, the king of dragons, the leader."

"Romanian dragon trainers speculate that the mass escape of dragons is because the dragons have their own king."

More people entered the Burrow. In addition to Harry, Lupin and Sirius also came.

They all listened to Charlie.

"There have been fire dragons escaping before, but never on this scale. We followed them to find out more." Charlie said with a wry smile, "In the end, we underestimated the dragon's vigilance, and a Hungarian Horntail burned me."

"Hungarian Horntail?" Furong's mind moved slightly when she heard the species of this fire dragon.

The image of a fire dragon chasing after her emerged in her mind, and she said nothing.

The youngest daughter of the Weasley family now had an image of a thousand dragons in the valley in her mind.

She thought for a moment and threw away the crazy idea.

Even John couldn't control himself and become the king of dragons.

"Well," Mrs. Weasley interrupted their story time, "time to clear the table for dinner."

Charlie's hand finally felt better after the ointment was applied.

Ginny was puzzled: "Why not use magic to treat it?"

Charlie said: "The fire of the dragon is poisonous. It cannot be cured by magic."

The meal was very satisfying, except that Mrs. Weasley did not like the girlfriend Bill brought home.

"Where's Dumbledore?" Harry asked, eating a piece of freshly baked apple pie.

Lupin said, "He's at Hogwarts, and he'll probably have a good meal with the professors."

"Tonks hasn't come back either." Harry looked at the people at the long table.

Sirius sat next to him and whispered, "Invite Molly over as soon as she has time. We all know she wants Tonks to be Bill's girlfriend."

As he spoke, Sirius glanced at Fleur obliquely.

Harry was dumbfounded. No wonder Tonks had such a forced smile the last time he saw her being pulled by Mrs. Weasley.

The Burrow had always felt like home to Harry, and he loved it.

Sirius stayed here because he didn't want to see that guy Kreacher at the Black mansion.

Fleur left with Bill after dinner.

They are still in the honeymoon period.

Lupin also left, claiming that he was going out to pay more attention to the situation.

Harry was lying on the bed, he looked sideways and saw his godfather.

This was a life he couldn't imagine.

"What's wrong, Harry?" Sirius noticed Harry looking at him and he turned his head.

Harry couldn't help but smile when he saw his godfather, "Sirius."

"Ah."

"Thank you for being alive."

"That's what I want to say to you," Sirius still looked handsome. He said, "Good night, Harry."

"Goodnight, Sirius."

...

After spending three days at the Burrow, Harry was supposed to go to the Black mansion with Sirius.

But Fred, one of the Weasley twins, told them that there was a Quidditch match between Diagon Alley and Knockturn Alley.

Sirius waved his hand and headed for Diagon Alley.

Mrs. Weasley was furious. "No! Out!!"

Sirius waved his hands helplessly, "Please, Molly, no one would be crazy enough to kill someone in front of thousands of wizards in Diagon Alley."

But Mrs. Weasley blocked the door.

It was no wonder Mrs. Weasley was so excited.

Because the Weasley clock still indicated deadly danger.

As a mother, Mrs. Weasley would not allow her children to take risks.

"Okay, okay, Molly, you win." Sirius seemed convinced.

Harry, Ron and Ginny were very disappointed, as that might be their only chance to go out during the holidays.

Sirius led them upstairs, and Mrs. Weasley, seeing that they had given up, also left the doorway.

But just as Mrs. Weasley entered the kitchen, Sirius, Harry and the other two tiptoed out of the door.

The thrill of disobeying Mrs. Weasley's orders was too much for all three children.

Just seconds before he stepped out the door, Ron accidentally bumped into a broom.

The broom fell over, alarming Mrs. Weasley.

"Run!" Sirius yelled.

They sprinted out of the house.

Once out of the range of the Anti-Apparition Charm, Sirius let the three of them hold onto his arms.

They disappeared under Mrs. Weasley's angry gaze.

When they appeared again, they were already in the bustling Diagon Alley.

A white Christmas brought frost to the eaves of every home.

Because there were too many people, Sirius had no choice but to raise his voice, "Hold hands, don't get lost."

He moved closer and took Ron's hand, and Ron grabbed Harry's hand.

Harry glanced at Ginny, and the sentiment resurfaced in his heart, and he reached out his hand.

Ginny grabbed that hand, and it was like an electric shock flowing through Harry's fingertips, making him clench his fist tightly, not wanting to let go.

There were so many people in Diagon Alley that it was almost packed.

They squeezed their way to Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, where George and Fred stood on high stools. George shouted, "Buy tickets here. Go in one by one."

Fred held the green and red clothes in his hands and shouted, "Support the Diagon Alley team and choose red, and the Knockover Alley team and choose green."

In addition to these, various supporting products are for sale.

"Four sets of Diagon Alley clothes," Harry shouted after finally squeezing in, "four tickets."

George thrust the ticket and clothes in without even looking at them, "Just go in and go through the door."

Harry was almost pushed back. Not long after he finally found his godfather, he was pushed back when he tried to enter again.

That door is next to Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes.

Walking into the vermilion door, it feels like entering another world.

A huge Quidditch pitch appeared in front of them, and the crowded crowd suddenly became spacious after they took a few steps.

"Harry!" Sirius and Ron came over.

Harry was attracted by the scene before him.

"Since when did this place come into being in Diagon Alley?"

His eyes widened. The stadium was huge, but only slightly smaller than the World Cup.

"It was originally the site of the Ministry of Magic's amusement park project. When we heard that a competition was going to be held, we rented it out."

The voice sounded not far away. They looked and saw that it was Mr. Weasley, who was with Bill and Charlie.

Mr. Weasley looked around and said guiltily, "Don't tell Molly."

He came to watch the game on the pretext of going to work.

The group quickly reunited.

The Diagon Alley team and the Knockturn Alley team appear.

Seeing those people, Ron smacked his lips and said, "Am I seeing right? Isn't that the owner of Florin Fusco's ice cream shop?"

"And that, the owner of the Quidditch boutique."

Familiar faces appeared one after another, leaving them stunned.
