Chapter 106: There's a Balloon in the Sky and the Dursleys' Fear

"A good-for-nothing, lazy, liar, good-for-nothing, he..."

"He is not!"

Harry was shaking with anger at Aunt Marge's words. He would not allow anyone to say that about his father.

"Some more brandy!" Uncle Vernon seemed to realize the seriousness of the situation. He poured all the wine in the bottle into Aunt Marge's glass.

He roared at Harry, "Go to bed, now!"

"No, Vernon."

Maggie drank the brandy and burped. Her bloodshot eyes stared at Harry's eyes and touched Harry's scar. "Go on, boy. You are very proud of your parents, right? They died in a car accident."

Harry couldn't stand it anymore, he stood up and said, "They didn't die in a car accident!"

This made Vernon pale, and he moved his stubby fingers to try to stop Maggie.

But Maggie seemed to have turned on some kind of switch, and harsh words kept coming out of her mouth.

She insulted Harry as a burden to his relatives, a rude and ungrateful person.

As she spoke, Maggie's body swelled up.

She watched in horror as her body swelled up like a balloon and began to float up.

Uncle Vernon screamed in horror when he saw this scene. He tried to grab Maggie to stop her from floating away, but he was almost dragged up.

The Dursleys were in chaos, and Harry didn't want to stay any longer.

He picked up his luggage and moved it to the door in just a few seconds.

Uncle Vernon noticed and tried to stop him, but Harry was already furious. He took out his wand and threatened Vernon, "She deserves it. Get out of my way!"

After seeing what happened just now, Uncle Vernon didn't dare to stop him.

Harry gradually calmed down after dragging his suitcase down several streets.

He slumped against a low wall on Magnolia Crescent, his new found strength gone, gasping for air.

He was full of confusion at this time. Where should he go?

If you use magic against Muggles outside of school, you might be wanted by the Ministry of Magic and thrown into Azkaban.

Confused, he stayed on this street for ten minutes.

Nervous, anxious, uneasy, confused...

Emotions were like an overturned bottle of seasoning, the ups and downs of life made him lower his head.

He thought sadly: "Perhaps I will be wanted and end up alone in the dark Muggle world."

He thought of Ron and Hermione again. No matter whether he had broken the law or not, his friends would definitely help him.

Because of Aunt Marge's arrival, Harry asked Hedwig to stay with Ron for a few days, and he had no way to contact anyone else.

He was extremely depressed.

"Harry, it seems like there's a lot of activity over there."

A voice rang out and Harry's head snapped up.

John walked out of the darkness, holding a can of dried fish in his hand for some reason.

Seeing the frustrated Harry, John raised his eyebrows and said, "Are you planning to run away from home?"

"John, I, I might have to travel around the world."

When Harry saw it was John, he realized that John lived nearby.

He must have seen the good things he had done, and said dejectedly: "I hope you can lend me some money so that I can escape further."

"Come on, Harry, but you do need to calm down."

John was speechless. You are the savior. How could the Ministry of Magic throw you into Azkaban for such a small thing?

Walking up to Harry, John put the dried fish down and said, "Don't be too depressed, you will be fine, find a place to wait, maybe the Ministry of Magic will send you a letter."

Seeing that Harry didn't want to go back, John introduced him to a good place. After thinking for a while, he said, "If you don't want to go back, you can stay at the Leaky Cauldron for a while. I'll take care of the rest for you."

"Well, maybe you're right."

After being comforted, Harry felt better, although he still felt that in his second year, Dobby knocked over a cake and the Ministry of Magic issued a warning.

Patting Harry on the shoulder, John pulled a bag of Galleons from his small bag.

Harry's eyes became dull, and John asked in confusion, "Aren't you going to borrow money from me?"

"Uh... this is too much, at least a hundred Galleons." Harry scratched his head and stuttered.

John curled his lips and said, "You have a mountain of gold in your vault, and you are pretending to be a poor man here?"

He threw the Galleon at Harry, causing him to feel a tightness in his chest.

John turned around and headed for the Dursleys' house. He was such a big man flying in the sky, and he had to finish it before other Muggles saw him.

Only after he left did Harry recover from the pile of money. He stared at John's back as he left and felt warm in his heart.

At this moment, he felt a chill on the back of his neck.

Confused, he looked into the darkness behind him. There seemed to be something at the other end of the road.

"Fluorescence."

The wand lit up, blinding Harry for a moment, and he felt better after raising it higher.

On the other side of the road was a large black dog that looked like a bear.

Harry panicked a little and fell down when he tried to get a better look.

At this moment, a burst of galloping sounds came.

"Beep."

The strong light hit Harry's eyes. He put his hands in front of him and saw the object through his fingers.

It was a purple three-decker bus. A conductor who looked about seventeen or eighteen years old got off from it. He had big protruding ears.

The conductor saw him lying on the ground and asked in confusion, "What are you doing sitting on the ground?"

Harry looked across the street again, but the big black dog had disappeared.

...

There were screams, barking dogs, and the chaos of the Dursleys was like a bull running into them.

Maggie was floating in the sky, and when she was about to be blown away by the wind, a snowy owl flew over, grabbed her collar and carried her down.

John stood at the Dursleys' door and knocked.

Judging from the chaotic noises inside, they probably didn't have time to open the door.

I raised my hand and brushed the door handle, and it opened automatically with a click.

John walked in, and the chaotic noise inside seemed to be paused as soon as he appeared.

"How dare you come here! You guys..."

Vernon Dursley roared and John frowned. Just a look made Vernon hold back the rest of his words.

Just at this moment, Maggie was pulled back by Basil outside.

Seeing this, the Dursleys rushed over.

"Recover her quickly!" Vernon was used to talking to Harry.

When he reacted, he saw John's half-smile.

John said calmly: "If you had received a complete Muggle education, you would know when to be polite to others."

This made Vernon's face turn purple. His lips trembled and he squeezed out a few words, "Please help me restore her."

"That's right."

John raised his eyebrows and pointed at Maggie.

Maggie's body seemed to have a hole in it, and she lost weight rapidly.

She collapsed to the ground in shock with her hair disheveled, and even her big dog couldn't bring her back to her senses.

After John did all this, there was a loud bang outside and two figures of a man and a woman appeared.

It's someone from the Ministry of Magic.

When they arrived, they first saw John, and then Maggie, who was still in shock.

"You're here. I think there's a Muggle here who needs you to erase an exciting memory."

John turned and smiled, as if it had nothing to do with him at all.

The male official stared at John and asked in confusion, "Are you a student of Hogwarts?"

"Don't thank me for helping you avoid the difficulty of searching." John pointed at Basil and said, "If you can bring two dried fish to my owl, it will be happy."

The two officials were a little confused. They were clearly questioning you, so how did it become a thank you?

Of course they recognized that this was not Harry Potter, and it was Harry who used magic that the Ministry received.

The presence of this student here doesn't mean anything, and John gave all the credit to Basil.

Finally, officials from the Ministry of Magic erased Aunt Marge's memory, and this scene made the Dursleys tremble with fear.

In their view, the people at the Ministry were turning Maggie into an idiot.

After everything was settled, the two officials left.

But John didn't. He just sat on the sofa and Basil flew to stand at his shoulder.

"Now, Mr. Dursley, could you tell me why Harry is so angry?"

He smiled slightly, and Vernon Dursley swallowed hard.

This child is obviously the same age as Harry, but he seems to be as intimidating as those wealthy officials who spend money lavishly.

Chapter 107 Silver Hand Angel Investment and the Call of Magic

As the pillar of the family, Vernon still stood up and said carefully: "It's Maggie. We accidentally talked about some things about Harry's parents."

"Accidentally?" John glanced at him.

Vernon quickly changed his words and said, "It may contain some bad words."

Glancing carefully at John's face, Vernon saw no anger.

John sighed, no wonder Harry was so angry.

In Harry's mind, his parents are the best and most perfect.

It was under such circumstances today that he was enraged and unconsciously leaked his magic to inflate Maggie.

And it was cast wandless, which further confirmed John's theory that magic was accompanied by emotions.

He sat on the couch and drummed his fingers on the armrest.

Amid the horrified expressions of the Dursleys, everything caused by the chaos seemed to be picked up by invisible hands.

John looked at Vernon deeply and said calmly, "You seem to have a misunderstanding about wizards."

Vernon wanted to say that he didn't, but when he saw John's eyes, he chose to keep his mouth shut.

John leaned his head against the sofa and said indifferently, "You think wizards are just like street magicians, playing tricks to deceive people."

"Wrong. A wizard can easily demolish a house or make your car lose control and fall off a cliff with just a flick of his wand."

Vernon gasped at this. He stared at John and said in a trembling voice, "Students are not allowed to cast spells outside of school, right?"

"Yes, and also wrong."

John chuckled and said, "There have been students dropping out of Hogwarts before. Do you think that a wizard is no longer a wizard after leaving a magic school?"

He stared into Vernon's small eyes and said word by word, "Mr. Dursley, I am not exaggerating. You are provoking Harry and pushing him onto the path of murder."
