Tokyo Sound

This stretch of road is so walkable that you can actually walk it with your eyes closed.
Outside the dam of the old residential area, a group of aunties sat together and held a war meeting, discussing the stories of every unmarried young person of the next generation. After a certain time, they brought in some speakers and started square dancing, focusing on both culture and sports.
There are only a few dance songs, which may only be changed every few years. The songs are still the same as before.
Yin Ze walked on his tiptoes, jumping up and down, as if he was infected by the artistic atmosphere of the ladies.
After walking more than ten kilometers, I didn't feel tired at all and I became more and more energetic.
It’s this building, this unit. The access control system at the unit door in the old community is still just a decoration.
The walls of the stairwell were covered with contact numbers for unlocking locks and unclogging pipes. On one floor, the voice-controlled lights were half-bright and not sensitive.
Yin Ze saw the apartment door with old Spring Festival couplets pasted on it. The color of the apartment door was very familiar, and his hands were shaking as he knocked on the door.
It's almost 6pm, time to prepare dinner.
My father has become a great cook over the years, especially the fried kidney, which is very tender when it comes out of the pot. The pickled pepper is made by himself. The taste is better than that of ordinary restaurants. I can imagine my father wearing the same shirt that never changes and wearing slippers in front of the stove. I heard that 20 years ago, my father was in a driving school in Henan, leaning on a Santana to light a cigarette, and a female student exclaimed that he looked like Andy Lau, hahahaha.
My mother usually gets off work late and is often responsible for buying groceries. She makes delicious twice-cooked pork. But when it comes to delicious food, it has to be the wood stove in my grandparents' house. Actually, my grandparents' house is not far away, but when I was a child, it always felt so far away, as if I was in several cities away.
Is grandma still coughing? Does she still get up at night?
It's time to replace grandpa's old baseball cap.
Yin Ze knocked on the door.
The door opened.
An unfamiliar middle-aged man poked his head out slightly, even holding a bowl in one hand, and looked outside. "Hello? Who are you looking for?"
Yin Ze looked past the door. The layout of the narrow three-bedroom and one-living room was the same, but the decoration was completely different.
"Young man? Who are you looking for?" the middle-aged man asked again.
Yin Ze subconsciously wanted to look inside.
The middle-aged man controlled the door and his tone became a little more serious, "Who are you?"
"Has there been a family with the surname Yin here before..." Yin Ze asked softly.
"No."
"before……"
"We've lived here for more than 20 years, and there's no one named Yin, not even in the entire community." The middle-aged man said bluntly, "You must have found the wrong person."
The conversation at the door also attracted the people who were eating at home. Two old people, a woman, and a young man were all looking over here with their chopsticks raised.
After a few seconds, Yin Ze twitched the corner of his mouth and said, "Sorry, I found the wrong one."
The door is closed.
Yin Ze walked downstairs and returned to the bustling dam. On the street outside the community, light signs were also lit up, and people who had been busy all day began to meet up to eat hot tripe and drink beer.
Yin Ze sat down beside the flower bed. He had been walking for so long before and was not tired at all, but now he could not even take a few steps.
He recognized almost all the people in the old neighborhood, but he didn't see a single familiar face. The place was still the same, and the noodle shop hadn't changed, but the boss was no longer a silver-haired old lady who liked to add more green leaves, but a man in his fifties or sixties.
Someone was selling snacks. He used to carry a stretcher, but later he switched to driving a tricycle. Yin Ze didn't recognize the seller, but he still ordered a bowl of tofu pudding, which tasted very good with some chili and pepper powder.
He sat quietly for a while, looking at the lights of the old neighborhood, and then hailed a taxi on the side of the road.
"Where is the handsome guy going?" Of course he can't be the old driver who came here, but the personalities of the old drivers are very similar.
"Let's go to the Jialing River." Yin Ze said.
"Let's go see the river view at night. Okay, let's go." The experienced driver stepped on the accelerator.
The taxi was filled with old songs, and then switched to the radio station. The broadcast was very friendly, and the host used Mandarin and dialect alternately. The old driver still sent a leisurely voice repetition to the group from time to time.
Passing Binjiang Road again, dusk has passed, and the beautiful night view of the mountain city has slowly descended. The darker the night, the brighter the lights. Light boats are sailing on the river reflecting the neon lights. The winding bridges like the blood vessels of a giant dragon connect the two banks. The lake water gathers the light into a flickering mirror, and the light in the mirror becomes more and more dazzling, just like a burning flame.
Yin Ze stared at the flames on the river and below without saying a word.
"Handsome, it's almost time."
"Okay, thank you."
"Handsome guy, are you in a bad mood? You look like you have something very worried about you?" The experienced driver didn't rush to stop the car.
"Yeah." Yin Ze said.
"Although I don't know what difficulties you have encountered, just be calm and think more about everything, and it will always pass." said the old driver.
"Okay, don't worry." Yin Ze smiled.
There are many stone paths along the river, and you can usually go down there when the water is not high.
The mountain city is very hot, but the night wind by the river is still cold.
Yin Ze was not the only one here, there were other people watching the river, and the rest were night fishers. In fact, those who fished at night were not necessarily true anglers, they might not be fishing for fish, but for a brief moment of freedom.
Yin Ze found a place, hugged his knees and sat down, listening to the silent flow. In fact, he probably knew the answer in his heart, but how could he be willing to accept it without seeing the Jialing River with his own eyes.
Some people left in the middle of the night.
The lights also rested one by one.
Yin Ze sat on a rock in his hometown all night.
The morning glow rises, the morning light is faint, the red sun breaks out of the ground, followed by thousands of rays of light. Yesterday lights up today, and today lights up tomorrow.
There were pedestrians on the long street again. Steam was wafting from the soy milk shop and the sound of people talking and laughing could be heard.
He faced the river and the rising sun, tears welling up in his eyes and streaming down his face.
Feelings are the foundation of beliefs. This is the land soaked with my sweat, this is where my destiny has flowed, and this is the root of my soul.
Yin Ze bent down, grabbed a handful of light dirt, and put his dirt-stained hand back into his pocket, as if he had really grabbed something.
I'm back, I'll be back, I'll be back again.
On the gravel street, a small noodle shop is open. A couple is busy working, and the woman is making fresh wontons.
"Boss, two taels of fried peas, add a little soup--" Yin Ze walked in with a smile.
"Yes!" the boss responded.
……
Tokyo Haneda Airport.
Yin Ze, exhausted, got off the plane and saw the person who was waiting for him in the terminal hall.
"You have dark circles under your eyes. Didn't you get enough rest?" Sakura Ayane stepped forward and supported the man who looked tired from running around.
"Well, I didn't sleep much. How long have you been waiting?" Yin Ze asked.
"I came here as soon as I received your call. Oh, you're really something. You've only recovered for a short time, and you're in such a hurry to leave." Sakura Ayane complained while straightening the other person's collar.
"Haha, I know that group of professors in the hospital are very concerned about my situation. After all, they have never seen this case. But the re-examination couldn't reveal anything. Some things are hard to explain." Yin Ze smiled again.
"I thought you would stay for at least a few days?" asked Sakura Ayane.
"I didn't bring much stuff with me, and I don't have much money either. I'm not allowed to stay here for long." Yin Ze leaned on her shoulder and said, "You have to make money well and go back later."
……
a few days later.
The outskirts of Tokyo.
Entering the door is a spacious courtyard, with grass growing wildly at the base of the wall, on the top of the wall, and between the cracks in the rocks. A tree blooms in the pale green world, with tiny rays of sunlight penetrating through its lush branches and leaves.
The little ones are playing hopscotch.
"Mr. Takizawa, there is no shortage of things in the courtyard. The children are so happy just to see you..." said old man Matsuzaki.
"It's okay, just exchange the remaining change for snacks. Then we can start over again." Yin Ze handed over the signed form, "By the way, I changed my name."
"Really?" Old Man Matsuzaki was surprised.
"My name is Yin Ze now. Of course, you can still call me Takizawa Satoru." Yin Ze waved his hand. "See you later. I have to work hard and will be very busy. Please take care of yourselves. If you need any help, let Xiang Yijun do it. He is young, strong and energetic."
"You are the one." Old man Matsuzaki walked him to the door with his cane.
A bunch of little kids also ran out.
Yin Ze came to the street, came to the motorcycle, picked up the helmet and put it on.
I can clearly feel where the clock hand is pointing and which direction the wind is blowing at the moment.
Driving along the long suburban road, there are streets, rivers and woods on both sides.
Walk through the path lined with camphor trees and go downhill against the wind.
Yin Ze saw the clear sky and sparse clouds.
Is that life?
Okay, let’s do it again.
A smile appeared on the face beneath the helmet.
The knight's figure gradually became blurred and tiny in the sunlight, heading towards each tomorrow in life.
