"Okay."

"Oh? So is it good or bad?"

"Long-winded."

In the passenger seat, Perlis looked out the car window at the school gate, the crowd reflected in her blood-red, dazed eyes.

Seeing her like this, Ivar just smiled softly and pulled the control lever.

"You're just like your dad. I never know what you're thinking."

Looking out the window with his light green eyes, Ivar saw those brats who had blocked the school gate before: they were looking at Ivar's car from a distance with fear on their faces.

After a little teaching, these little guys, whose fur hasn't even grown fully, wilted in an instant.

To put it bluntly, relying on the power of the group to bully individuals is just their instinctive behavior. If they are separated from the group, this instinct will naturally be defeated by the huge gap and become insignificant.

Education in the Federation? Ivar looked at the end of the road, and there was the Tower of Babel. If they were to leave this so-called Tower of Babel, and the advantage of the Federation people as the "majority" was gone, would they end up like those little devils?

"Let's go. Miss Philos asked me to take you home as soon as possible."

The man stepped on the accelerator, and the car floated slightly on the road, and then drove away on the asphalt road. Behind the car, Perlis heard the ringing of the bell, and she knew that this was her farewell to the bell.

"Ding-a-ling-ding-a-ling--"

Extra) Pencil Sharpener (Part 5)

Finally, the results came out.

Perlis's entrance examination results were excellent, enough to support her to choose any school in the Akademi Federation for further study.

In the entire class, there were only four people who reached her score range.

She is the tallest among them.

When she received her report card, Perlis did not feel any joy. She just breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that she had finally completed something that she had to do.

At the celebratory dinner that day, Perlis announced to Carly and Ivar something she had been planning for a long time.

She will participate in the [Tower of Babel Competition] in the near future to compete for the position of [Blade of Babel].

Faced with her decision, Carly just sighed helplessly and decided to extend her vacation for a while to help her train.

Ivar smiled imperceptibly, his light green eyes seemed to have expected it.

"Sure enough, we still have to go this far."

Perlis has thought many times whether it is right or wrong to choose not to go to higher education but to go to her destined destination. Perhaps Edward does not want her to devote herself to this path, but rather wants her to become a highly educated person like Carly and seek self-realization with her knowledge and skills.

But Perlis didn't want to ignore what was truly hidden in her blood.

"..."

On a sunny afternoon, Pearlis walked alone through the streets of Wezel and returned to her school for the last time.

She was going to get her student record to facilitate the transfer after the promotion. Even if she didn't plan to continue her studies, she still had to take the file herself.

It's like putting an end to this life.

Pearlis deliberately chose to go to school very late. She wanted to avoid the crowd and she didn't want to see those people again.

At the school gate, Perlis met Mitro again. She just glanced at Perlis in panic, lowered her head, and ran past her silently. Perlis didn't know what to feel in her heart, so she simply didn't feel anything, but walked into the campus calmly.

The archives room was in a corner of the school office building. When Pearlis pushed the door open and walked in, she happened to meet Professor Spencer who was sitting behind his desk on duty.

"Hello, teacher," Perlis smiled gently at Spencer, "Are you waiting for me?"

"Ha, who would wait for you? It's just a coincidence," Professor Spencer waved his hand generously, then was stunned, "Ah... Student Pearlis..."

"Ok?"

"You smiled."

"is it not OK?"

"No, it's just..." Spencer became much calmer, "It's okay, it seems that everything is getting better."

The professor pointed to several boxes nearby, which contained student files wrapped in paper bags.

"Congratulations on your good grades. The files are all over there. Look for them yourself. There shouldn't be much left now. You should be able to find them soon."

"Ah."

Perlis leaned over the box and paused for a moment before standing up and asking Professor Spencer:

"Professor, which class am I in?"

"Huh? You forgot about that?" Professor Spencer looked hurt. "It's Class 2. It's the second box."

"Thank you."

Perlis leaned over again, this time she found the second box and silently searched for her own files. There were not many files in the box, so she took them out one by one, scanned the names on them one by one, and then put them on her arms. Those familiar names passed by her eyes one by one, and each name was accompanied by a familiar whisper, the things that lingered in her nightmares.

But she was almost calm. She had even thought about taking revenge on those people one by one, but now she didn't want to spend that time.

What she needs to consider now is how to climb the Tower of Babel.

"..."

After searching quickly, Perlis soon emptied the box. However, even then, she did not find her own file.

"Professor Spencer," Perlis turned her head again and looked at Spencer behind the desk, "I don't see my file."

"Oh no?"

"It's true. Look, I took them all out and looked through them." Perlis showed Spencer the pile of files on her arms, "I didn't see mine..."

"Well...how about looking through other classes' books? Maybe someone accidentally made a mistake?" Spencer suggested.

"Ah."

Perlis put all the files back into the box, and then searched for boxes of other classes. Time passed little by little, but she was not anxious at all, just quietly getting along with this last experience in her alma mater.

Soon, she found her file at the bottom of the file box of the class next door. The file was even a little wrinkled, and it was obviously not put there accidentally, but someone did it deliberately to embarrass her.

"..."

The girl smiled calmly, not feeling any anger at this childish revenge. She held the file bag in her arms, stood up silently, and bowed to Professor Spencer.

"Teacher, thank you for your hard work."

"Well, it's nothing, it's nothing." Professor Spencer waved his hand and smiled at Perlis. "Be well, Perlis, and take good care of yourself. It's the same wherever you go."

"Well, thank you teacher."

Perlis bowed slightly to the teacher again, then turned around and walked into the summer of Weiser.

The sun shone with the sound of cicadas, outlining the pure white silhouette of the girl. After leaving her alma mater, Perlis walked all the way towards the Tower of Babel without even looking back.

Faintly, she heard a faint sound of bells passing through the lush branches and leaves of midsummer, lingering with the sound of cicadas. It seemed a bit noisy, but also like some kind of farewell song, sending the girl who was bidding farewell to her childhood into the distance.

"Ding-a-ling-ding-a-ling--"

...END...

After writing this article, I have something to say.

Part of the plot in this article is adapted from my own personal experience (of course, I didn't get splashed with water). The reason why I chose this topic to write a sequel in Volume 2 is that I have seen too much school violence...

I believe that everyone has a class like this: different from others, so they are always talked about behind their backs and excluded as different. This difference can be in appearance, in grades, in personality, or even because of - because they are short? These reasons are ridiculous and there is no logic to follow, but even so, these people still suffer violence that they should not have to endure.

Many people have unintentionally become accomplices of this kind of school violence, which is exactly what I want to say in this article: Under the group consciousness, each individual will automatically tend to the direction of the group he belongs to, thus becoming a part of the group behavior. A group without proper guidance is ignorant and extremely destructive, which is a manifestation of "ignorance is evil".

Similar to Perlis, I myself came out of such an isolated environment. I used their malice as a booster and used my grades to prove my excellence, but I believe that people like me who are naturally compatible with negative energy are rare after all. More children have suffered extremely miserable results due to school violence. They either never recovered or jumped off a building, ending their lives that have not yet begun.

I know that many readers are not very old, and I also know that my influence is very limited, almost close to zero. But what I want to appeal to is that we must put an end to this kind of school violence. As long as there is no evil, no one should suffer malice for being different.

As Professor Spencer said, the process of this influence is slow, but I believe that only when everyone is clearly aware of the horror of ignorant evil, the phenomenon of school bullying will gradually disappear.

I devote myself to literature in the hope of exploring possible solutions and making some very quiet appeals through the reflection of reality. I know my voice is very small, but I believe that a spark can eventually set the prairie on fire.

Everyone should be well, eat well and live well!

"I saw the Snow Eagle streak across the sky, and then I saw it fall."

“I saw a fire start up on the horizon, and then I saw it disappear.”

“I saw the morning star rising from the east and setting in the west.”

“I’ve seen a lot.”

"But still, only one shot"

Fourteen Years Ago - La Vatino

"Academi A-21 calling headquarters, [Blade of Babel] has entered the designated airspace, requesting permission to drop."

"Delivery allowed."

The hatch slowly opened and a strong wind blew.

The man stood at the edge of the cabin, his eyes exposed outside reflecting the outline of the city, indifferent.

La Wattino, [The Kingdom's Great Cage], [The City of Sin], this place has many names, none of which is good.

It seems that he has some small resonance with this city.

"..."

Alaiwu carried the long iron box on his back, his left eye was exposed, and his right eye was covered by an eye patch. The strong wind slightly messed up his bun, and a few strands of hair were blowing in front of his forehead, making his tough appearance look a little more wild. His chin was full of stubble, and it seemed that he would only trim it a little after a long time, and it was a very careless and casual trimming.

Overlooking the outline of Sin City, Allywood closed his eyes slightly.

It's time to start work again.

Half a month ago, the Tower of Babel destroyed the main force of the World Alliance. To this day, the red beam of light is still sweeping away the remaining resistance in the kingdom, almost wiping them out.

But as long as it can make everything go further, it's worth it.

"[Day of the Crown] is being released."

That familiar name, ah, it's calling me. In the strong wind in the sky above the City of Sin, Allywood opened his pale blue eyes and looked directly at the setting sun of the kingdom. He gently grasped the pendant on his collar: it was a bullet, with a red light flashing in the gap between the metals. The cold touch was transmitted to his skin, as if it was singing a different tune from the setting sun.

"Tnakx...ins duta... (ancient divine language)"

Crooning, Alliwood leaped off the transport plane.

Behind him, a scarlet flame trailed.

......

"This is it, my Lord."

At the driver's request, Allegro slightly opened the door of the carriage.

After a brief inspection, he jumped lightly from the carriage and stood on the ground.

"The main guard led by the imperial guards just left. Now is the best opportunity."

In the shadow of the church, Klein pointed to the bell tower next to the church and forced a smile on his face.

"From there, you can find opportunities..."

"..."

Alliwu didn't say anything. After confirming the height of the clock tower, he pulled up his hood and started walking towards the clock tower.

This church is where the Queen of Grau Yad Kingdom, Celica Yad Pershipens, lives. When the remnants of the royal government were driven back to La Vatino, the Federation began to infiltrate this area.
