(End of the book)
Although many authors who have included this book in their book lists have commented that it is a fan fiction that can be read even if they have not read the original work or have only read a part of the original work, and I am very grateful for everyone's recognition of this, but then again, I have always felt that readers who have read the original work should have a better reading experience, because as I said in my remarks when this book was launched, although this is a semi-original story written using the characters and background settings of the original work, many of the plots and details are intentionally echoed and contrasted with the original work.
In my own old book tutorial, I have said that my understanding of fan fiction is to imagine the experiences of the characters of the original work in another world line and time line, and to get rid of the regrets and BE involved in the original work as much as possible. The creative ideas and outline of this book are also built on this basis.
Apart from the most common change in fan works, that Ai did not die at the age of 20 but successfully held the Tokyo Dome, each character has their own changes.
Regarding love, the promise of 45510 and the relationship between B Komachi have been completely inherited and preserved, the biological mother issue has been filled in advance, and I may say something that may be very unrighteous, that is, I don’t think that giving birth to a child at the age of sixteen is an original setting that must be inherited by fan fiction, so this book has also abandoned it.
In my opinion, the love that love desires is not just pure love, so I wrote about everything related to friendship, family and love.
Regarding Ruby, the plot of the original work is quite obvious when she was a baby and played with her phone to fight against haters, and she danced in the kindergarten when she was four years old. Although looking back now, I always feel that she was written as a comedian of persecution type, it should be better than the high school girl in the original work (who has been blackened), and it finally gave me the opportunity to finish writing this kind of orthopedic emotional line. To be honest, in the writing of the whole book, Ruby's chapters are always my favorite and smoothest to write. As expected, I am still a Ruby fan. Just tell me whether Ruby is the most critical variable in starting a harem.
The book describes Ruby's smoothest career path among all the characters in the book. She is escorted all the way from her debut to her performance at Tokyo Dome. It is not the story of the old and new B Komachi, but the story of ACE. Although the price is that Ruby's own emotional line does not seem to be so smooth (laughs).
Regarding Kana, I personally think that Hat's love and career lines are the most complete, and there are many small echoes with the original work. For example, in the original work, Hat began to lose popularity in the upper grades of elementary school and was terminated by the agency. In this case, it was at this age that she starred in "Homeless Children" to make her popularity rise to a higher level and become a national-level actor. The plot in the original work where she had to use her acting skills to cooperate with newcomers and the unspoken rules that I hated very much are all gone. Hat in this book is treated as the heroine all the way, because her acting style is suitable for playing the absolute main role and the center position. And compared to the plot of being abandoned by her mother in the original work, Kana Arima in this book is the more active party, and her psychological process is the trilogy from "Spider" to "Shoplifters" to "Tomorrow, Dad and Mom Are Not Away".
Kana is not suitable to be an idol, she shines more as an actress.
Regarding Akane, as a character whose personality was said by fans to have been changed at least four times in the original work, I also hesitated when I was conceiving the outline, so in the end I chose two personalities and highlights of Akane that have not changed much from the beginning to the end in the original work, that is, her experiential acting skills and the complex relationship between her and Kana Arima. This should be quite obvious to everyone. Since childhood, I have deliberately compared these two people in various aspects. Her story line and Kana Arima's story line are actually complementary.
If I were to sum it up in one sentence, it would be that in the first paragraph of the "Murder Crime Declaration" that many of Akane's fans love the most, Akane said that the reason he became an actor was "because I do it because acting is fun." This is the focus of Akane in my book.
And, as I wrote in the article about concluding the love story with Akane, she was not liked as a substitute or imitation of any character.
After talking about the four main characters, let’s talk about MEM-chu and Samejima Abiko who were added later.
In fact, both of them are characters that appeared very early, but at that time they were written mainly for the subsequent plots related to ACE and "Tokyo BLADE". However, they were later reminded by fans and friends that their love lines are indeed logical and even natural. Basically, what I want to say and write about these two characters are all in Extra Chapter 3 and Extra Chapter 4.
In addition to the characters, there are some overall plot events.
"Just a Little Sweet Today" did not fail, director Gotanda did not continue to be a runner-up, and then, Goro Amamiya continued his life as a doctor.
If you have not enjoyed the love between your parents and children, you don’t have to go out and find a father or mother for yourself. You can also choose to start from yourself and become a better father or mother than your parents. Just like the doctor who chose the position of obstetrician and gynecologist just to follow his grandmother’s expectations, he can bring his own child into this world with the most at ease in this book. This is probably what I want to write about the role of the doctor.
Then, let me talk about some of the changes I intentionally made while writing this book.
First of all, there is a clear change in style from the early stage to the late stage of this book. If I were to say it myself, it is truly heading in the direction of a romantic comedy, abandoning many characters and plots that could be expanded but would make readers uncomfortable. Here I use the creation of two supporting characters to illustrate this change, namely reporter Tanaka and Inoue Daichi.
It can be said that Inoue Daichi is a contrasting character that I wrote specifically after learning the lesson from Tanaka's ending. Although these two reporters are essentially meant to advance the plot, I was happier writing Inoue Daichi, who lies down and plays badly but always gets credit for his own achievements and who often backstabs his financial sponsor Ruby.
Finally, let’s talk about some things related to the big framework.
I have to say that it is indeed difficult to write a long-form fan fiction about "My Little Pony". I spent a long time designing the initial outline of this book and the identity of the male protagonist, and overturned at least four versions of the character.
Because in the final analysis, this is a story of two generations, and the age difference between the characters is really despairing. I actually have to brag about myself here. As the best-performing and most-worded fan fiction on the entire site and even the entire network, it means that the outline I finally designed has been recognized by many readers. Anyway, I can’t figure out how to retain the original elements such as reincarnation and orthopedics while narrating the emotional lines of six female characters with the largest age difference of fifteen years together in a complete outline.
But even so, when I wrote the book in the middle stage, various problems exposed by the age difference made it very difficult for me to write. You can't let Ryo wait until Kana and Akane grow up before making a decision. His wedding with Ai was the inevitable result of their relationship. Just as he said later, at that time, the only person he loved as a lover was Hoshino Ai, and he did not regret getting married so early.
So I still have to thank Ruby for her contribution here. It is no exaggeration to say that Ruby single-handedly changed the pure love ending into a harem ending. She is the most important character throughout the early, middle and late stages of the book. In a sense, it can be said that I have shown my fan power.
I don't know if you have noticed that, although this book is a fan work of "My Little Pony", the timeline is actually only the first ten episodes of the original work, which is the content of the first episode of the animation. What I thought, wrote and supplemented are just all the events and stories in the ten years that were mentioned in the original work with the sentence "And just like that, childhood came to an end."
So the last volume of this book is "A Little Sweeter Today", which is related to the plot of chapters 11 to 18 of the original work.
I like this kind of semi-original creative method, and the same is true for the actual teaching book. If there is another new fan book, it probably won’t change.
Finally, I would like to thank all readers again for their reading and support from April this year to today. See you again in the old book. Thank you everyone!
