At first, I considered names like Schrodinger, Newton, Chauvin, and Richard. Later, I suddenly had an idea and took advantage of the popularity of the hand sanitizer god of war, so the name Ethan came to me.

But then I thought, it's too gay to make two grown men go shopping together in Hogsmeade and even get angry because of each other's death, and this is in the UK, which makes it even weirder.

So I quickly changed the gender, but I felt that the character of this little fangirl had a lot in common with the feminine Sebastian who was originally conceived as the heroine, so in the end they were integrated into one person.

As for how this name came about… Actually, the author was a bit bad at naming when he first wrote the book, so he randomly picked a lucky group member's name to name the characters. Alanna's full name was based on a group member named "Moon Shadow". The name was chosen from the Turkish word for moonlight, "ailana", and then a similar English name was found, Alana. The last name was because the group member named "Moon Shadow" was a gynecologist and was always nicknamed "Moon Shadow Nurse Sister" by other group members, so the two words shadow (shadow) + nurse (nurse) were stitched together.
