Hogwarts: This Wizard Is Not Scientific

So Ms. Ravenclaw took a different approach and tried to achieve the same goal through other means.

That's combination magic!

But smart people think a lot, understand a lot, want to pursue a lot of things, and have extremely high requirements for quality.

This is a kind of mental torture.

In addition, her fanatical pursuit of magic also made Ms. Ravenclaw neglect her daughter. When her daughter stole her tiara, it became the last straw that broke the camel's back for Ms. Ravenclaw.

I have been chasing a illusory dream all my life, but when I look back, I find that I have neglected the most important people around me.

This is undoubtedly a tragedy.

After listening to Andy's explanation, Hermione fell silent.

Although these were just Andy's guesses, and the so-called evidence was far-fetched, Hermione somehow felt that this might be the truth about Ms. Ravenclaw.

Otherwise, Ms. Ravenclaw wouldn't have died young.

"What about you, Andy?"

Hermione suddenly asked, "It seems to me that the dream you want to pursue is even more unattainable than Ms. Ravenclaw's dream."

"me?"

Andy laughed, "I'm cheating!"

Although Andy's cheats were not particularly powerful and were at the lowest level among all the time travelers, the five attributes on the right side of the system could definitely change Andy's future.

Magic, soul, heart, mind, will!

These five attributes are definitely much more important than the five talents on the left side of the system.

This is the core of the plug-in!

Without continuing the topic, Andy continued, "Let's check this room! See if there are any out-of-print magic books or manuscripts."

Chapter 288 Horcrux Ghost Dimension Demon

An hour later, Andy had walked around the room and had a general understanding of the books on the bookshelf.

The more Andy got to know Ms. Ravenclaw, the more he admired Dumbledore's realm.

Love is the most powerful magic.

It's hard to say about the other three founders, but Andy believes that Dumbledore has definitely surpassed Ravenclaw.

But unfortunately, Dumbledore is also a tragedy!

Dumbledore always claimed that love is the most powerful magic, but does he himself possess and understand love?

In Andy's opinion, the answer is no!

Dumbledore is not the owner of love, he is just a wise man. He can understand love, but he has never truly enjoyed such love.

Andy thinks Dumbledore is a rational and cold man who has almost everything but never love.

"call--"

Andy took a deep breath, feeling a little uneasy.

From the clues we have obtained so far:

Ravenclaw pursues the dream of making dreams come true, but this dream is so far away that Ms. Ravenclaw has to find another way.

Slytherin pursued a pure magical life, and he chose magical transformation, but in the end he had to leave Hogwarts sadly.

As for Dumbledore... maybe what he pursued was love! But he could not get it in his whole life. He understood love, but he could not have it, and he even lost the ability to love.

Voldemort pursues immortality, but his future is only death.

Each of them wants to pursue their own dreams in the field of magic, but the dreams of each of them are somewhat out of reach.

The desires of smart people are often more unrealistic than those of ordinary people.

In fact, when it comes down to it, wizards are still within the category of "mortals", but what they want to do is something beyond mortals.

In comparison, what Dumbledore pursued was more realistic, but he was just unlucky.

"What about me?"

Andy suddenly thought of himself. "Power is easy to obtain, but immortality is still out of reach. As for becoming a god through magic... that is even more of a mirage."

Andy summarized his current situation.

Over the past year or so, Andy has mastered a lot of magic and has used it to a very sophisticated level.

The fusion of mind and magic power has been initially completed, and there has been some success in transfiguration. The only thing left for magical transfiguration is the specific experiment.

I have also just started to learn combination magic.

A great achievement, but still far from enough.

"I still have to keep learning!" Andy sighed.

No matter what you want to do in the future, rich knowledge is the cornerstone of everything.

"Andy, did you find anything over there?" Hermione suddenly asked.

Andy came back to his senses, "There are quite a few magic books here, but most of them are poems, essays and the like."

But this is understandable.

After the establishment of Hogwarts, the four founders donated their magic books, so Ms. Ravenclaw naturally couldn't keep them to herself. The magic books here should be some of the books that Ms. Ravenclaw often reads.

"It's the same here, nothing special has been gained." Hermione said somewhat disappointedly.

At this point, Hermione looked up at Andy.

“Andy, the books here are all written in modern English!”

Hermione was all excited. "Do you remember those books we found in Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets? They were written in Old English in their time."

"Hmm!" Andy had naturally discovered this a long time ago.

Hermione said excitedly: "Andy, this place may be fake. It is not the original appearance of the Room of Requirement at all. It just changed according to our needs."

Just by looking at Hermione's expression, Andy guessed what she was thinking. The little witch must be thinking about things like "tests" and she wanted to use her wisdom to crack the secrets here.

But compared to those secrets, Andy has already got what he wanted.

"What are you going to do?" Andy asked curiously.

Andy didn't intend to ruin Hermione's mood. It would be best if he could solve the secret here.

"Well... I haven't thought about it yet."

Hermione said tangledly: "But I still stick to my original judgment. The Room of Requirement must be connected to the Ravenclaw library."

"Maybe... maybe the conditions we set to open the Room of Requirement are just wrong!"

This is possible!

The original room of the Room of Requirement...

According to Ms. Grey, this was originally a place where Ms. Ravenclaw studied magic. If Ms. Ravenclaw wanted to hide some secrets, she would definitely change this place.

"Okay, don't think about it for now."

Andy said seriously, "Let's sort out the magic books here. These books are often read by Ravenclaw ladies. They may be advanced magic books."

"OK!" Hermione nodded.

Andy and Hermione worked until late at night and sorted all the magic-related books on a bookshelf.

It was already very late, and the two did not plan to stay up late, so after tidying up a little, Andy and Hermione left the Room of Requirement.

"good night!"

"good night!"

After saying good night to each other, Andy returned to the dormitory.

Lying on the bed, Andy couldn't calm down.

Tonight's realization made Andy deeply aware of a reality - he is just a mortal.

If a mortal wants to do something beyond the reach of ordinary people, he must pay a price that ordinary people cannot accept. Even so, he may not succeed.

"Magical transformation, can it really be done?"

Andy's thoughts were a little confused.

From the current point of view, Slytherin failed, and Voldemort also failed. Magical transformation may only enhance the power of wizards, but it cannot allow wizards to break through the limits of "humanity".

"Is there any other solution?"

Andy thought to himself, "Horcrux? Philosopher's Stone? Transformed ghost? Ghost... Ghost!?"

Andy suddenly turned over and sat up!

Whether you are willing to admit it or not, ghosts have achieved true immortality.

The oldest ghosts in Hogwarts can even be traced back thousands of years. They have emotions, can think, and even have memories.

Ghosts are not much different from living people except that they are dead in the vital sense.

“Is the soul immortal?”

Andy suddenly remembered what he had said to Voldemort. The human body belongs to the three-dimensional world, but the human soul can enter the higher-dimensional world.

The dimensional demon...also belongs to the immortality of the soul.

The same principle applies to the ascension in China.

Even Horcruxes use the splitting of souls to avoid death.

In contrast, there have been so many brilliant people throughout history, whether they were Muggles or wizards, and none of them could overcome the aging of the body.

Chapter 289: The King of Kings and the Dinner

"soul……"

Andy suppressed his inner excitement and reorganized his thoughts.

Leaving aside the legendary dimensional demon, ghosts do gain eternal life, and the Horcruxes made from split souls can indeed avoid death.

The ghosts living in Hogwarts, as well as Voldemort, are proof of this.

But there is still a problem.

Andy thought to himself, "Such an obvious example, why hasn't anyone studied it?"

Few people knew about Horcruxes, but ghosts... I can't say they can be seen everywhere, but at least there are quite a lot of them in Hogwarts.

And looking at the appearance of those ghosts, they seem to be living quite happily.

But in the wizarding world, no one seems to desire to become a ghost.

"Does the ghost have any flaws?" Andy frowned slightly.

If it wasn't too rude, Andy really wanted to find a ghost and ask him what it felt like to be a ghost.

"Hmm..." Andy murmured.

Putting aside the flaws of ghosts, the immortality of the soul is something that can actually be achieved.

It’s just that a single soul cannot use magic. Even Voldemort’s wandering soul can only rely on absorbing the vitality of other creatures to restore its strength.

"vitality……"

Andy thought of the point he had made before - magic comes from life.

"If we analyze based on this point of view, the so-called dimensional demon god should be a soul occupying a dimension, using the dimension as a body, and thus using the power of the dimension."

"Dimensions are immortal, and souls are immortal."

"And the same goes for Horcruxes."

"Use some kind of magic item as a dimension for soul fragments to occupy, thus avoiding death."

Andy raised an eyebrow.

The principles are all the same. It seems that ancient wizards had discovered the secret of the soul long ago and had also conducted some research on the soul.
