Hogwarts: I am Harry's eldest cousin
Page 156
Peter lay quietly, motionless except for eating. He was conserving his energy as he didn't want to do anything unnecessary.
He is waiting for an opportunity. No matter how long it takes, he will grab it if it comes.
Waiting is what Peter Pettigrew does best.
It was this perseverance that allowed him to disguise himself among the Weasley family for more than twelve years without being discovered.
If he could put this tenacity somewhere else, perhaps he would have a different life. Perhaps he would have become an outstanding wizard fighting against the Death Eaters.
It's just that there aren't so many 'maybes' in this world.
An unknown amount of time had passed, Azkaban was shrouded in dark clouds all day long and it was impossible to distinguish between day and night. Perhaps a month had passed, perhaps a year had passed, perhaps only a week had passed, before a visitor appeared in Azkaban prison again. He was a middle-aged wizard with a stern face.
He had short, neatly combed gray hair, a cold gaze and a sparse moustache on his lips.
"Mr Barty Crouch"
Peter heard others call him by this name.
He walked to Peter Pettigrew's cell, stopped, looked straight at Peter inside, did not speak, just stayed for a moment and then left.
That night Peter got a magic wand.
Hogwarts, a Slytherin meeting room.
Dudley and other members of the disciplinary team are gathered here.
"Brother D, it's not that I don't trust you, but can this thing really be used for communication?"
Ron pointed at the Den Den Mushi that was chewing corn on the table and said uncertainly.
This Den Den Mushi has completed its transformation.
"I mean it's incredible that a slug with a shell can have the same effect as an owl."
Hearing Ron saying bad things about it, the Den Den Mushi stopped eating the corn and angrily spit at him. Ron felt disgusted and quickly dodged.
"It's called Den Den Mushi!"
Before Dudley could speak, Hermione said, "Ron, it's incredible that wizards still use owls to send messages."
"You know what? When you were still using such primitive methods as biological communication, the 'Muggles' you called had already invented tools that could allow people to communicate directly even though they were thousands of miles apart."
"I don't mean to disparage owls, but they are really slow at communicating."
"Cool!" Ron exclaimed. "What is that? I think my dad would like it."
"Telephone."
Unexpectedly, the person who answered Ron was Draco, the pure-blood wizard who supposedly despised and rejected ordinary people the most.
Seeing that everyone's eyes were turned to him, Draco shrugged his shoulders with an expression of expectedness, and briefly introduced: "This is nothing strange. We in the Malfoy family also know many nobles among ordinary people. Malfoy Manor has been registered with the Queen of England, and there are corresponding titles."
"It's not just your Weasley family, Mr. Robert. In fact, many pure-blood wizards have some connection to each other, but they won't announce it to the public."
Draco was telling the truth, but having a connection is one thing, and taking it seriously is another.
Even the Malfoy family only took it seriously after Draco learned a lot of information about ordinary people from Dudley.
"Malfoy, are you looking for trouble?"
Hearing his name being called wrong again, Ron became anxious again.
"Come on, I'll give you a hand."
"Enough of the small talk."
Dudley interrupted the bickering and took out a Den Den Mushi and placed it in front of Ron: "Will you know if it works or not if you try it yourself?"
"You and Draco each take a Den Den Mushi and go to the two rooms apart."
After a moment, Ron pushed open the door with a flushed face.
"Brother D, it really works!"
Ron held up the Den Den Mushi excitedly.
"Not only does it have Malfoy's voice, it can even imitate his tone and demeanor. It's amazing."
"How did you do that? A spell? A Transfiguration spell?"
Draco followed closely behind. Although he was also excited, he was much calmer than Ron.
Dudley didn't answer Ron, but took out a few finished Den Den Mushi. "We can't mass-produce Den Den Mushi at the moment, but each member of the discipline team can have one. Remember to feed them regularly and don't let them starve to death."
"If you need anything, let's use Den Den Mushi to contact each other."

“The questions were so simple that it only took me an hour to finish the test.”
After the final exam, Ron walked out of the exam room with a relaxed look on his face and said this to Harry.
It's hard to imagine that such words would come from Ron's mouth.
But that's the way it is.
If someone can play with the top students, even if he is not a top student, he is at least a strong student.
"Especially the Potions exam. I didn't expect Professor Snape to give such simple questions. It only took me forty minutes to finish it."
Ron was still talking excitedly, not noticing at all that Harry's face was gradually stiffening and he was glaring at him wildly.
"It seems that our Mr. Russell thinks he is already a master of potions."
That calm, emotionless voice sounded, and Ron turned around stiffly, and saw Snape standing behind him, and met those emotionless eyes.
"Then we will invite Mr. Russell to give us the first class next semester."
"If that's not possible I think you'd be happy to clean all the urinals in the school infirmary for a year."
Ron was so scared that he could only nod subconsciously and didn't dare to refute at all. By the time he reacted, Snape had already disappeared. At that moment, poor little Ron regretted it so much.
You said I had nothing to do and said the Potions exam was easy?
孽 孽!
On the train back to King's Cross Station, Malfoy hesitated for a long time before speaking.
"Brother D, Harry, Hermione, Neville and Ron, are you going to come to my house this holiday? You haven't been to Malfoy Manor yet."
Draco rarely called Harry "Potter" or Ron any other weird name.
Ron was stunned. He originally wanted to invite everyone to the Burrow, but he didn't expect Malfoy to get there first.
"Of course, I also want to visit the ancient Malfoy family."
Dudley nodded and agreed immediately, not to mention Hermione and Harry.
"Draco, does Mr. Lucius welcome us? I think you should talk to Mr. Lucius about this first."
Neville thought a little more.
He has grown the most among the few, especially in character. He has changed from being cowardly and timid to being calm and mature.
"There's no problem with my father."
Who knew that Draco would immediately answer him: "I can make the decision on such a small matter."
The tone and expression were as if he was the head of the Malfoy family.
"That's fine." Hearing this, Neville and Ron also agreed to go.
Ron was quite interested in Malfoy Manor.
The train stopped at the station and the friends left one after another, and soon only Dudley and the other two were left at the station.
Just when the three were about to go home on their own, an unexpected person appeared in front of them.
"Hey, Harry. And his friends."
Sirius, who had changed his clothes, greeted the few people and patted a motorcycle next to him: "Do you want me to give you a ride? Or do you want to go to my place for a ride?"
Leather jacket, necklace and obviously modified motorcycle
What a ghostly middle-aged man.
"Mr. Black, I remember I told you not to appear in front of Harry again."
Dudley stood in front of Harry and Hermione: "Your stupidity will be contagious to him."
Sirius got anxious after hearing Dudley's words. He really wanted to get along well with Harry. "I am his godfather, appointed by James and Lily themselves. I should be the one raising Harry when they are not around."
"Really? But you, as the godfather, have been absent for twelve years and have not fulfilled your raising obligations at all. I don't think you are capable of raising Harry."
Dudley didn't like Sirius very much, not only because of his recklessness and arrogance, but more because of his stupidity.
"How is that possible? I'm an excellent adult wizard!"
"But you, an excellent adult wizard, can't even beat me, an underage wizard."
Sirius tried to argue, but was choked by Dudley's words.
Even though he was reckless, he knew Dudley was telling the truth.
Sirius suddenly thought of something and grinned, "It's vacation time now, and young wizards who haven't graduated are forbidden to cast spells."
You are stronger than me, so what? You can't cast spells.
These words made Dudley look at him differently.
"Oh, the brainless guy has finally started to use his brain."
Sirius looked smug.
Not to be ashamed of, but to be proud of.
"I'm sorry, but as a member of the Wizengamot I'm not on the banned list. I have a certificate from the Ministry of Magic. Would you like to see it, Mr. Black?"
Sirius was a little dumbfounded after hearing what Dudley said.
'Wizengamot? How old is he?'
Just as Sirius was about to say something else, he suddenly felt a strong force coming from the side, and was knocked away before he could react.
"Stay away from my children you damned murderer."
Vernon rushed over from nowhere, protecting the three people behind him with his big body, and roared at Sirius with a red face.
Sirius was not only a criminal in the wizarding world, he was also portrayed as a criminal in the ordinary people's world.
A dangerous person who blew up a street and killed thirteen people.
Even though Vernon was the weakest among the group, and even though Dudley and the others did not need Vernon's protection, the moment he saw Sirius, he instinctively rushed forward to protect them.
He didn't know that his own child Dudley could easily defeat Sirius, and might have done the same thing if he knew.
"Dursley the Asshole!"
Sirius got up from the ground, his mood gradually became irritable, and he even took out his wand.
Facing the wand, Vernon's face turned pale instantly, but he still firmly used his body to block the children.
"Oh, our Mr. Black is planning to cast a spell on ordinary people? Let me see what you have."
Snape's sinister voice sounded, and he was seen walking towards the side of the station.
"Why are you here, Snivellus?"
Sirius looked at Snape unkindly.
Snape glanced at Sirius and said, "With Mr. Dursley, of course. They invited me tonight."
"Don't worry, Mr. Dursley. I'm here. This guy...tsk...won't dare to do anything to you."
As he said this, Snape stood in front of Vernon without leaving a trace, just blocking him and Sirius.
This move undoubtedly reduced Vernon's pressure and won him great favor.
"Thank you, Mr. Snape."
Vernon breathed a sigh of relief when he heard this. His wife's former neighbor was indeed reliable.
Although Snape seemed indifferent, he was quite polite to him, and he took the initiative to help him.
