In Konoha, Naruto lies down
Page 367
"Tsk, Kakashi-sensei, why didn't you admit it earlier? You made me go to all this trouble to play dumb." Naruto rubbed his stiff cheeks and took a deep breath. "If you don't admit it, I'm going to vomit because of my embarrassing acting."
Kakashi: "......"
He suddenly realized that there was a reason why this guy was so annoying. Damn... This guy really deserves to die, Uzumaki Naruto.
"My friend... I sent Lin home yesterday, and then..." Kakashi reorganized his words, but was interrupted by someone before he finished.
"Has it already happened?"
Kakashi: "......"
"Okay, okay, I won't say anything anymore." Naruto felt guilty and waved his hands to indicate that he would stop making trouble.
After smoking a cigarette, Naruto finally figured out the whole situation. He stared at Kakashi in shock for a moment, then looked away and asked.
"So... Kakashi-sensei, you came to me because...?"
"It's a little... um, I don't have much experience in this area." Kakashi scratched his face with his fingers. "You should be good at this, so I wanted to ask for your opinion."
"If we keep going like this, things will probably become awkward. Wouldn't it be too much of a stretch to avoid it?"
Hearing this, Naruto's eyelids twitched. He never thought he would see Kakashi's shy side.
"Just break that membrane... No, just express your feelings directly."
"How can that be?" Kakashi frowned, his hand unconsciously pinching his chin as if thinking. "It's too straightforward. It's easy to be misunderstood. I don't have that kind of feeling towards Lin... Maybe I do, but... I can't explain it."
"Maybe it's just my illusion. Emotions can easily mislead us. In fact, I just don't want Lin to get hurt again. I promised someone to take good care of her, but later broke my promise. I thought there was no way to make amends, but who knew that now I would have the opportunity."
"A lot of things happened all at once, leaving me no time to think about them. Um...most of my energy is focused on Lin right now. It's obvious, so it's very troublesome, you know?"
Kakashi spoke a lot with great restraint, pausing numerous times in between.
It can be seen that he doesn't really want to tell others about these things. Not to mention that Naruto is still his student, this is a completely socially dead choice, but Kakashi now realizes that he must find a solution.
The reason why he took the risk and chose Naruto was simply because he trusted Naruto's professionalism.
"Is there a better way?" Naruto looked at Kakashi and patted his shoulder with a teacher's tone, saying earnestly, "Kakashi-sensei, sincerity is the best antidote."
Coming out of the Hokage Building, Naruto couldn't help but roll his eyes.
Kakashi is lame!
I thought he was looking for me for some relationship advice. He was looking for an expert, not me. How would I know how to express myself in an ambiguous way and then win over the girl with a sincere monologue?
I have no idea how to retreat in order to advance and make the girl have a deeper impression of me!
Who knows, family members!
This is a fucking scumbag's common trick. Who would really believe it?
Walking to a hidden alley, Naruto summoned the Yellow Spring Gate, whistled, and completely forgot about Kakashi, and stepped directly into the Yellow Spring Gate. He located the coordinates of the Sand Village and asked Calabash Brothers for money.
.......
Kakashi was still a little nervous.
The two of them sat on the Hokage Rock, a few clouds drifted leisurely in the sky, and they occasionally looked down at the two shadows hidden in the shade of the huge tree.
The breeze blew on their faces as they talked about what happened in the past. Kakashi's memory was actually a little fuzzy, but with Nohara Lin's patient reminders, he finally remembered some of it.
Uchiha Obito was always silly, running around Nohara Rin like an idiot. Minato-sensei was always so gentle, and Rin was trying hard to be tolerant of everyone. Being in such a team was like a dream.
"You were so cold back then, Kakashi. You seemed to have a stern face towards everyone." Nohara Lin sat on the bluestone, legs stretched out, her white socks particularly eye-catching. "I don't mean anything else, I just think you've changed a lot, Kakashi."
Hearing this, Kakashi glanced at Nohara Rin, and when he looked away, his gaze happened to pass over her white socks. Almost as if by reflex, he remembered the sock incident last night, and he couldn't help but coughed in embarrassment.
"Um... maybe that's the case. When I was younger, I used to keep a straight face when I couldn't figure out a lot of things." Kakashi half explained and half joked, "Maybe now that I'm older, I can't keep a straight face anymore."
Nohara Lin covered her mouth and giggled, still as fearless as before.
The shade of the trees blocked out the sunlight, and in the small worlds beside the large bluestone, the shadows of the two people leaned against each other at an angle.
She seemed to never let the topic drop, and her eyes were always on Kakashi. This made Kakashi feel a little uncomfortable, and he turned his head to look at the scenery on the other side, half of Konoha jumping in his eyes.
"Hey, yesterday... was I drunk too much?" she suddenly asked, her fingers unconsciously tangling together.
"Well, I took you home."
"No...you didn't do anything embarrassing, right?" she asked nervously.
Hearing this, Kakashi suddenly paused for a second, then shook his head.
"No."
She hadn't done anything shameful, but it was Kakashi who had nearly lost himself, hanging a pair of white socks in his hands, not knowing what to do. Too many words came to his lips, but he swallowed them back.
Nohara Lin looked at the village in the distance and couldn't help but sigh again.
"The village is really different from before. It's so unfamiliar that I almost don't recognize it."
"After all, almost twenty years have passed, and the village is indeed quite different from before." Kakashi continued, "It's not too late to start over now. You can get a job in the village and meet new people."
She shook her head and stared at Kakashi.
"I don't need to meet new people, really, Kakashi, I'm fine as it is now."
After spending two days together, the originally flustered Nohara Lin seemed to have found her bearings in life. She also seemed to have rediscovered the feeling she had with Kakashi twenty years ago. Just like back then, Kakashi was still as gentle at heart.
So she was no longer restrained when speaking, and expressed her feelings boldly and passionately.
There is some dependence, some truth, and some jokes in it... No one knows, the only one who knows is Nohara Lin herself.
Kakashi was momentarily dazed by the girl's intense gaze. He felt a surge of joy as Nohara Rin expressed her feelings, and the distance between them had lessened. But then he thought about his own situation and decided he couldn't afford to delay her for such an inexplicable reason.
Kakashi then turned serious and stared at her silently. The excitement on Nohara Lin's face began to fade, and her tone became a little timid. She lowered her head, like a child who had done something wrong, not daring to look Kakashi in the eye.
He sighed, thought about what Naruto said, and felt that he should be more sincere.
"Lin, I've been feeling a little uneasy these past few days. I've been constantly...worried that you might suddenly disappear. I've barely slept for the past couple of days. I don't know if my attention to you these days, intentionally or unintentionally, has caused you any trouble."
Kakashi rolled his Adam's apple and said out the speech he had prepared long ago.
"I really haven't figured out how to deal with it. Maybe this is... a kind of passion. I'm too afraid that you'll disappear, so..."
She opened her mouth, her face blank, as if her entire life had lost its color. A cautious attempt was seriously pushed back by Kakashi, who continued to reiterate his inner conflict.
"I promised Obito to take good care of you before..."
Hearing this, Nohara Lin could no longer hold back and spoke somewhat stiffly.
"Is it just because of this? If it weren't for Obito, you...you wouldn't have done that at all, right?"
She lowered her head, revealing her snow-white neck. Even though she knew Kakashi didn't mean that, she still asked that question out of spite. This wasn't easy for someone like Nohara Rin.
Kakashi froze for a moment, a look of surprise in his eyes. Nohara Rin rarely showed that expression, rarely acted willfully, but now she looked as if she had been wronged. More importantly, this wrong seemed to be her own fault.
"That's not what I meant, it's just..."
"You don't have to explain, Kakashi." She raised her head and tried to force a smile on her face, but it looked uglier than crying.
She opened her mouth to say something, but the words seemed to get stuck in her throat. She wanted to laugh but couldn't, and she wanted to cry but was too embarrassed to do so. Her open mouth was slightly gasping for air, like a goldfish thrown ashore.
Feelings of despair washed over my mind, repeating over and over again.
........
The land of wind.
"I don't want this." Temari squatted on the ground, buried her face between her knees and cried silently. The delicate makeup on her face was wet with tears. "I can't do it. I... I am really useless. Every day..."
"What?" Naruto squatted beside her and put a simple piece of clothing on her.
Temari's emotions broke down so quickly that by the time he turned around, she was already shaking and crying. This gave Naruto a headache. He probably said the wrong thing just now. Speaking the truth so quickly was really fatal.
What sincerity is a sure-win move, or a scoring occasion.
five minutes ago.
After receiving the news, Temari put on her exquisite makeup and hurried through the long corridor of the Kazekage Building in small steps. When she saw Naruto, the nervousness and excitement in her eyes could not be concealed at all.
"What are you drinking? The same as before?" she asked.
"Well, tea will be fine."
"This is this year's new tea, from the Land of Water." Temari wore a pair of white lace gloves, her fingertips seemed to be dancing on the table, curls of white smoke rose, and the yellow tea surface could be vaguely seen.
"How did you come?"
"I came here for something and came to see you," Naruto said, adding it in passing.
Even so, Temari was visibly happy. She responded with some surprise, then cautiously asked how long she could stay here.
"Let's wait for a while and see what happens." Naruto smiled.
"Great!" Temari smiled with narrowed eyes, hands behind her back, "Are you free today? We can go to the southwest of the village. There is a forest there. It's not common here. There is a large area of..."
"You go, I won't go." Naruto supported his head, "I'm a little tired."
"It's okay, you rest first." The expression on Temari's face froze, and Shouwangzu lowered his head helplessly, like a child who had done something wrong.
"Don't be so childish, Temari, you are still the same as before." Naruto said casually with his eyes half closed. He wanted to add another sentence, "I don't have time to play, and Konoha is full of forests."
But before she could finish her words, Temari's emotions suddenly broke down. She squatted on the ground and cried with a look of grievance on her face.
"I don't want this to happen." She cried, trembling.
Chapter 486 He is CPUing you!
Naruto sighed silently in his heart, he should have known not to talk nonsense earlier.
It seemed like he and Temari hadn't seen each other for a long time since the Five Kage Summit. His memory brought him back to the Five-cornered Pavilion in the Land of Iron, where heavy snow fell under the eaves.
The two stood under the eaves, wrapped in their coats, watching the snow. The quiet snow was like salt, drifting all over the sky with Temari's more cautious probing, and that sentence...
"You...you still want me?"
Time has changed a lot. Temari has become more mature, and her every move has a unique charm. But in front of him, she seems to be a different person.
"Stop crying." Naruto pulled her up forcibly without saying anything to persuade her, with no expression on his face.
But Temari really fell for it. Even though his attitude was lukewarm, it still made her stop crying immediately. But her shoulders were still shaking and she was sobbing softly.
Naruto looked Temari up and down. The three braids that were originally tied up casually were let down and hung down like trimmed willow trees.
She had light makeup on her face, eyeliner on, bright eyes, white teeth, a slightly pointed nose, and red lips that were flattened into an arc. She was wearing a pear-white dress and had a swan-like neck.
Because she had just cried, tear marks were faintly visible on her face and her makeup was a little smudged.
Temari obviously realized this, and when she faced Naruto's gaze, she lowered her head involuntarily. When she looked up again, she saw that he was still staring at her, and she suddenly stopped crying.
"Am I annoying?" she asked quietly.
"Yeah," Naruto said mercilessly as he glanced down at her.
Temari was clearly feeling a bit overwhelmed, yet she had asked the question herself. Naruto didn't indulge her little peeves, having seen more than a few, and he knew what she was thinking just by rolling her eyes.
The other party seemed to like this lukewarm attitude, and Naruto was happy and at ease.
There was no need to pretend in front of Temari, because she knew there were many people who were related to her. She could fall in love with everyone she met, or anything else would be fine.
Anyway, Temari might feel uncomfortable, but she definitely won't hate it. If one day Naruto looked at Temari's eyes affectionately and said emotionally.
"I will only like you from now on and will not have any relationship with anyone else."
He was sure that Temari would lose interest in him in a few days. If she lost interest, she wouldn't be in love with him. The one who gets is always in turmoil, while the one who is loved is fearless.
Temari has been strong and stubborn since she was a child. Her parents died young, and as the eldest princess of Sand Village, she was deeply concerned about her two younger brothers.
Ultimately, this feeling made her very tired. Deep down, she longed for someone stronger than her to appear. However, no such person appeared during her growth, and her only father was killed by Orochimaru.
She longs for it, but at the same time doesn't want it. Because deep down she no longer believes that there is such a person, that's why Temari has such a contradictory personality.
When Naruto was tough, she would silently obey.
When Naruto sends her a signal of indifference, she will become anxious and worried, and even accidentally hurt her heart when she says something.
He can be mean to Temari, even ignore her, or be kind to her and take good care of her. But Naruto cannot revolve around Temari and cannot give up everything for her.
It may sound outrageous, but it is true.
As the saying goes, those who cannot get what they want will always be in turmoil, while those who are loved will be fearless. What Temari wants is someone who has a relationship with her but will not let her get him completely.
Naruto can treat her well, treat her badly, or even ignore her. The only point, and the most important point, is absolutely!!!
Cannot be obtained.
