Twisted Love

Sofia had a good night of sleep after Vincent left for the day. She was happy to have found a good job near her brother. It was a good paying and natured job, where people would not talk about her behind her back.

She also did not have many personal belongings to pack as she had not unpacked from her resent trip. It may have looked as if a lifetime ago she came back home, but it had only been a day. She had landed on Friday evening and arrived at the hospital Saturday afternoon. Now leaving the hospital Sunday morning, it had only been 3 days.

She did not want to leave Sammy so quickly, but in other to provide and protect him she chose to come to this decision. Now she only had to make him understand her decision and all would be well.

Arriving home did not have the feeling of home anymore to her. It felt like the only person she knew there was her brother only. Going to him, she sat down and looked at him for a minute. Deciding how to break the news. after much hesitation, "Sammy? How are you doing?... Are you angry with elder sister because she was not with you these past 2 years?"

"I am good. And no I'm not angry with you. I'm happy that you got to do what you wanted."

Smiling softly, Sofia came to the main point, "Will you be angry with sister if she lives somewhere else for work?" He nodded his head 'no'. "So is it ok if sister goes away tonight? But dont worry, I will see you every week and you can call me every day."

"It is ok if sister is not with me every day, we can talk on the phone and we can meet each other so dont worry. I will be Ok." Sam was behaving like an adult, trying to be understanding and not making others worry about him.

Noticing his behavior, Sofia continued "Its good that you are understanding, but you have to call me when your not feeling well or you just want to talk. No holding back. Ok?" giving his a hug and a kiss on the forehead.
