Vincent had not taken offense of Sofia's abrupt departure, he knew what would happen after she had drunk the lemon juice. After all he was the one who made it, a mixture of water and vodka. The lemon piece was nothing but a distraction from the actual taste.

Someone with low tolerance to alcohol would fall asleep after some sips. And Sofia had not even touched alcohol before in her life. Getting her drunk was as easy as ABC.

Sitting back on his seat, Vincent continued to drink in the dark. The only reason he was sitting there in the first place was to wait for Sofia. He would never had sat in the uncomfortable kitchen chair when he had comfortable cushion seats in his office with ready supply of his favorite alcoholic drinks.
