Vampiric Blood

The claws gleamed in the light as if eager to prove their ability. Michael flared out and with a flash, he had left a large claw mark deep into the cement of the roof they were all standing on. He stood there after demonstrating his ability cockily. Quite happy to see a look of shock appear across Jasons face from seeing him so easily damage the cement.

"That was simply a low tier enhancement on my claws just now and they could still slash easily into the ground here at higher levels it wouldn't be hard to slash through steel with them." Michael was happy that Jason was so taken by his ability to enhance his claws after all this was just the surface of his abilities if he circulated his limbs he could leap larger distance then his Gifts would allow and if he enhanced his eyes he could see as far as eagles.

"So that's something any vampire can do?" Jason really wanted to have that ability he was just waiting for Michael to confirm it after all if he had something like that his combat power would soar.

"Yes Master most vampires can do something like that but some clans have a unique way of mana circulation that lends their claws special abilities, for example, the Dark Steel Clan are a race of vampires that use a unique circulation to give their claws and skin a stronger steel effect to them allowing them to take and dish more damage for which they get their clan name from." There was still plenty of things Michael had to teach his Master he was far too ignorant about matters of the vampire clan.

" Well do Ashley and you have anything like that?" If they had something like that Jason really wanted to learn after all he really wanted to get cool powers like that.

"No, we aren't a part of any specialized clan so we don't have any access to specialized beast skills or magic. We only have basic enhancements that boost our physical attributes and basic elemental skills. The only way to gain special beast spells or magic is to join a clan or create them yourself which rarely happens." Ashley elaborated.

Hearing those words had given Jason an idea. Before Siegfried had left from his dream that time he appeared he had given Jason a thick black leather-bound book he had just taken a peek at first but from what he could remember it talked about transformations and spells. If Jason was right the book he was just given that was still floating around in his mind was filled with all kinds of spells both of the Bestial kind and the Magical kind. He couldn't wait to check it out later to see if his suspicions were true. But he didn't want to speak of it now for he didn't want to reveal the existence of the book to the two siblings. Even if they were helpful in answering his questions and taught him a lot of knowledge it didn't mean that he could trust them with the book.
