Song Jinglan opened his eyes.

Before Lin Feilu had the time to retract her lips, she was suddenly met with his intense gaze. Stunned by it, she froze momentarily, forgetting to back away entirely.

The thin lips that she kissed suddenly hooked onto her own. His large hand palmed the back of her head before pushing her down. When Lin Feilu finally came to her senses, she was already lying on the soft carpet of the carriage, caged under his body.

His hand was still supporting the back of her head, and he had turned his body slightly to not apply his entire body weight on her. His other hand stroked her waist and held her tightly before kissing her again.

She always thought that he smelled really nice.

But at this moment, the scent of him completely enveloped her, passing through her nasal cavity and filling every single one of her senses.

His tenderness took a drastic change as he was now covered with involuntary aggression— he did not allow her to back down, nor did he allow her to clench her teeth despite her slightly reluctant mannerisms. However, he wasn’t in a hurry as he patiently kissed and bit her. Inch by inch, he took what was his until she became pliant and putty in his arms. Unable to control herself, her weakened state caused her to relax her lips as he took advantage of the void and robbed her of everything.

Lin Feilu was so drained from the kiss that her head became dizzy. The flower that was at the tip of her heart bloomed out of her body at this moment, the petals passionately wrapped themselves around her and the man in front of her. For a moment, she forgot that they were still in the carriage and that there were other people outside.

She rid her mind of everything else as she only wanted to respond to him.

In a daze, the soft touch of his lips slipped from her mouth to her jaw before he ventured his way down her neck.

Her fingers clenched into fists, and even the backs of her feet were stretched.

Song Jinglan stopped at her collarbone and raised his head slightly. His deep eyes were full of desire as he gazed at the emotional girl below him, gently brushing the damp corners of her eyes with his fingers. After that, he lowered himself and kissed her tightly shut eyes.

When she heard his low laugh, Lin Feilu was out of breath, “Thank you, Princess, for the gift. I liked it very much.”

The self-control of an Emperor was indeed different.

Lin Feilu was paralysed for a while before she managed to get up slowly with the strength of her arm. Song Jinglan took in the way her hair was scattered, how her eyes rippled and how the light in those captivating orbs dimmed. She didn’t do much after, merely brushing her fingers gently through her hair as she tried to straighten her now messy locks.

Lin Feilu knelt down on the carpet with her skirt draped all over the floor and started whining again, “My mouth hurts from all your biting!”

He straightened her long hair, bent down and kissed her lips lightly with a tinge of soothing tenderness, “I’m sorry.”

She put her hands on her hips and looked domineering, “You are not allowed to kiss me until you are punished to go back to the palace!”

Song Jinglan’s eyes froze for a moment, and it took him a long time to come up with a retort. He said slowly, “Princess, have you heard of the phrase that Yishu shouldn’t be blocked(1)?”
