When I'm With You

Asher POV:

Jump... Jump... Jump... Why... Why won't my legs just jump!!!!! Am I really that scared...? No... I want to die, so why won't my legs listen... Kate... If only you were here... AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I yelled using all my might into the vast cliff. There's no point... Would I even reach Hans if I did jump? Why... WHY DOES THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN TO ME!?!?!? I threw myself on the ground and punched the grass. I grasped the dirt with my hands. I can't see... All these.... Tears... I slowly closed my eyes... Without even noticing. I fell asleep.

"Asher? What're you doing? Get up-"

"WHAT!" I quickly woke from my sleep and grabbed the person that was waking me up. I clearly saw that it was Kate, but why.... Why didn't my anger stop... "YOU WANNA JOIN HIM? GO AHEAD!" I pulled Kate and held her over the cliff. She was hanging on to me for her dear life.

"UH Asher?! What're you doing?!" Kate yelled in fear.

"How about you die like the Hans did-" I then snapped out of it... I was me again.

"Asher? Asher-" I did it...

I let go of Kate.

No... What have I done.... No... I won't let another friend die!!!

I reached out and I grabbed Kate just in time before she fell any lower. I pulled her up with all my might. "I'm sorry Kate. I- I- I had no idea what was wrong with me..." I apologized to Kate but it seemed like it didn't smooth everything out. She was still really pissed of at me.

"What the heck Asher?! Why did you do that-"

"Hans! He jumped!" I interrupted Kate before she could go on.

"He... What....."

I explained everything to Kate.

I don't even know why this had to happen in the first place... "Kate... I wanna go home... I don't feel good...." I said crying too.

Kate looked at me. "Asher..." Then bam.

Kate kissed me right then and there. I didn't know how to process this... I quickly pushed her away. "What are you....." I was so confused.

"I'm sorry Asher!" Kate got up and ran off.

I quickly forgot about Kate and Hans entered my thoughts... I picked up some flowers and put them in the box Hans left the yo-yo in. "Hans... I love you too." I finally got up and walked back home.

(Aunt Liz's house)

Knock! Knock!

Aunt Liz came and opened the door.

"Oh my god Asher where were you?! It's 11:33 a.m.!" Aunt Liz rushed me inside.

I sat down with an emotionless expression.

"Asher what happened?" Aunt Liz was trying to talk to me..... I didn't reply.

"Asher please, we can talk about- uck!!"

I grabbed aunt Liz's neck and starting to choke her. "Listen. If I don't wanna talk I don't wanna talk!" I then snapped out of it again. I let go of aunt Liz and she was quickly gasping for air. She couldn't breath.

"Oh no.... I'm... I- I'm sorry!" I ran out the house.

Where was I running off to? I don't know..... Why is this happening.... My world...
