Li Shuo and Zhao Jinxin agreed to go inspect a project on Saturday morning. It turned out to be so early in the morning so Zhao Jinxin began to be reluctant to get out of bed.

“I don’t want to go…” Zhao Jinxin covered his head with the blanket, “I’m so sleepy.” 

“We’ve made an appointment with them. We can’t just say we don’t want to go.” Li Shuo adjusted his cuffs in front of the full-length mirror.

“Okay.” A muffled voice can be heard coming from underneath the blanket.

Li Shuo felt helpless. He picked out a tie and hung it around his neck as he walked towards the bed: “We can’t avoid this.” He sat on the head of the bed. While putting on his tie, he patted the bulge in the quilt, “Be good. Get up now.”

Zhao Jinxin poked his head out from under the blanket. His hair was dishevelled and the corners of his eyes were drooping pitifully: “Li Shushu, I’m so sleepy. It’s so cold outside. Is there no heater?”

“This weekend, it is coming soon.” Li Shuo rubbed his hair and said softly, “Get up.”

Zhao Jinxin hugged Li Shuo’s waist. He put his head on his lap and muttered: “Let’s just not go now. Let’s go in the afternoon.”

“You don’t have anything else to do. Just because you want to stay in bed, you stand people up. How old are you?” Li Shuo smiled, “Can’t get up? Should I take off the blanket?”

“Don’t wanna. I’ll just lie down for a while.” Zhao Jinxin pressed his head against Li Shuo’s stomach as he complained, “It’s so early in the morning and on such a cold day. You don’t mind hurting me at all.” 

“Aren’t you the one who set the time?” Li Shuo couldn’t stop laughing, “Ay, you just want to act like a child.”

“Hmm.” Zhao Jinxin admitted without hesitation.

“Why can’t my little Jinxin grow up?” Li Shuo rubbed his face, “Okay then. If you really don’t want to go, then just go to sleep.”

Zhao Jinxin raised his head and looked at Li Shuo suspiciously.

“I can go by myself.” Li Shuo neatly put on his tie, “But I’m going to have lunch with them at noon. And then I’m going to play golf in the afternoon. So you won’t see me all day.” 

Zhao Jinxin got up abruptly: “Then I’d better go.”

Li Shuo leaned over and kissed his cheek: “You are so cute.” 

“Li Shushu, carry me to wash my face.”

“You are too heavy.”

“You don’t love me anymore?”

Li Shuo twisted his nose and turned his body around: “Come on.”

Zhao Jinxin jumped off the bed neatly and smiled slyly. He suddenly hugged Li Shuo.

“Hey? What are you doing?”

“I’m just kidding. You were so tired last night, how come I am willing to let you carry me on your back?” Zhao Jinxin bit Li Shuo’s ear, “You just need to stay with me.” 

Li Shuo laughed loudly: “You really do eight hundred tricks a day. I’m fooled by you.”

“You are especially cute.”

“Hmm.”

*GLOSSARY: 

Lí Shūshu [黎叔叔] – Uncle Li. (I’ve thought about it for a while. I actually would love to use ‘Shushu’ instead of ‘Uncle’ and ‘Gege’ instead of ‘Brother’ but I started my translation with ‘Uncle’ and ‘Brother’. Anyway, in these last few extra chapters, I’d like to change it. Please understand. Hehe)
