I was sitting in my cosy chair reading the newspaper about who wedded who and who killed who(like I do every day), when all of a sudden the door opened wide with a huge sound. I immediately put the newspaper to down to find max bending to catch his breath. I opened my mouth to ask him what happened but before the words could come out he jumped back up and looked at me like he just won a large amount of cash. l jumped out of my chair and asked what happened (this time without fail), he reached to his pocket and took out an envelope and said "we finally have a job" with a smiling face. (hi, I guess I haven't introduced myself, my name is Alex and yes I am a girl and also a girl who likes mystery hence I started a club where we investigate anything that sounds interesting for us, and by us I mean me and max. max is the first member of my group, I have one more member but to know who it is you have to keep reading)(back to the story) I sat back on my chair and asked "what kind of job is it this time" uninterested, he replied handing me the envelope "read the letter inside, I really want to see your reaction". I took the envelope and had a look at it before taking the letter out, it was a new envelope and didn't have a stamp hence I knew it was kept by someone in the school. I took the letter out and my eyes were wide open when I read the letter, it was about our school ( the handwriting was horrible) the letter also had a lot of newspaper articles about ghost that were seen in the school, and the best part is that the articles are 10 years old hence I started reading the letter, it said,

"hi, my name is Anna and I am in middle school second year and I also work in the newspaper club. I am not sure how to tell this so I will start from the beginning. we have different topics each month and who ever writes the best article, their article will be put in the newspaper and so this month's topics is ghosts hence I started searching the history of the school thinking I will get great ideas for my story that's when I found these articles and I have one more article that I want to show you personally hence I will wait for you (Alex of middle school first year ) behind the basketball court."

I looked at max and said that I will accept the job and that it sounds interesting.
