he let me go and i saw the way his face became bright red.

i rubbed my wrist, where there was a new bruise because of being held down. i really should stop forgetting about his strength.

seeing me rub my wrist, max whispered sorry.

i saw him and, he looked like a kicked puppy. i didn't know who was more of an open book him or anna.

"i am alright. it looks worse than it really is. see" i said rotating my wrist. there was a bit of pain but i made sure to not show it on my face.

he seemed to believe me and looked a little relieved

i immediately commanded him to find out the situation from the police without their knowledge.

i was glad to find out that the earpiece had not broken when max had pinned me on the ground.

"they are safe with jack at the cafe right now"

"and where exactly are they?"

"what?" i asked

"They seemed to be moving from one place to another."

she chuckled a bit before saying, "i am at home so no need to worry. guarded by the best defence system made by me and max helped a little."

i smiled. everyone was safe now we just have to fight back.
