"Hello?" I asked as I put my phone on speaker so that max and Cleo can also hear it.

"Hello, Alex," said a female voice which sent a chill through my spine.

"who is this?" I asked in a firm voice

"oh, you know who I am. but I have to say that I am disappointed in you Alex, you seemed to have given up in the game so fast"

the word "game" seemed to put all the pieces in my mind together

"luna?" I whispered

"correct!" she said cheerfully

"now would you be dear and bring the other two to me?" she said. her voice still dripping with sweetness

"oh who are you? a friend of Alex perhaps?" she said in her sweet voice

"stay away from this would you, this game is only between me and Alex, dear here!" she exclaimed

"stay out of it or I will have to kill you" the word kill you had an icy tone to it, unlike her previous tone.

max gulped beside me. he was right to be afraid. we were dealing with an unknown factor here.

that couldn't be possible! jack, Chris, and sam are in the cafe since she wants me to bring the two of them and Cleo is guarded in her house. max is with me. anna is the only one unaccounted for. even though I don't trust miss jasmine I know that she would keep anna safe.
