I swam out of the lake and went to the nearest bench and removed my hoodie. my t-shirt was not that wet but my shorts, hoodie and even my favourite shoes certainly was. then I remembered that my phone was in my pocket, I took it out but it was too late. a minute or two after I convinced myself to take care of the mission ahead of me and forget about my phone. I took my hoodie and phone and began walking when I say max running towards me. he stopped right in front of me and said," I checked that side and she is not there" " same here" I said looking disappointed. max looked at me and asked what had happened and I just said that I slipped into the water and immediately max took my and asked if I got hurt anywhere ( OMG!! I thought max was going to say something else when he took my hand. my stupid heart had almost stopped ) I took my hand back and said that I was fine. max called miss jas since my phone is destroyed ( my poor phone ) but miss jas was not answering so we decided to search for her. we went and searched for her and Emma in the side miss jas was supposed to search but we couldn't find either of them. I and max were miss jas could have gone when the fireworks filled the sky. max pulled me towards the lake so that we could see the fireworks display better and I pulled him more faster because I like to see the fireworks reflection in the lake but what I saw was not fireworks but a crimson red lake....
