Anna panicked and said,"NO! Wait…"

I sat down. Now staring at her waiting for here to talk.

"I am still not completely sure if I am willing to risk my life but I want to really help" anna said.

"Are you sure you want to help or is it your curiosity that is making you say these words". Alex asked. I was being as blunt as possible to see if she was serious.

"I am not saying this because I am curious. I am saying this because I am your friend" Anna declared.

I smirked and said,"don't make me laugh. We have only know each other for a maximum of two weeks now."

"But- but you were always so kind to me, We had a sleepover and you even shared a personal story of max with me." Anna said trying to say that we were really friends.

I drank a bit more of my strawberry smoothie and then said"First of all, I am always kind to my clients. Second I didn't invite anyone to a sleepover. Third the only reason I told you that was because I did want you to be nosy. If I had left the room you would have been curious about why max acted that way and the possible reason would be because you just moved to this town this year and the fact that you are in the newspaper club makes it easy for you to collect information so I had to tell you the parts I wanted you to hear and hid the parts which I wanted to be hidden. Also let me ask you this, being a representative of the newspaper didn't you find it weird that you were the last person I told about miss jas's diary."

"I don't understand what did you not want me know". Anna asked but I think she asked me this so that she wouldn't have to answer my last question.

I sighed and said,"you are going to find out anyway so I might as well tell you. Unlike what I told you I have a major part to play in the incident. In fact I was partially responsible for Emma's death"...…
