i began the patrol and after 3 hours there were no signs of luna or prof stine. i checked with everyone once every 30 minutes and so far nothing suspicious. the only annoying part of the earpiece is that everyone is connected so if one says something everyone can hear it.

max got distracted by the robot expo. i got distracted by the arts club but cleo yelled at us and we yelled at her when she started blabbering about the dresses made by the fashion club she saw through the cams.

almost an hour later everything started going downhill.

"guys! the cams are down!" Cleo exclaimed.

"what! how?" max asked confused

"sam, Chris" i yelled. there was no response.

"something has jammed the signal, only the ones with the rings can hear you," Cleo said. good thing we had backup I thought to myself.

"where were they last?" I asked.

"I crossed them near the music exhibit," max said.

"They were heading towards the cooking club before the cams went down," Cleo said.

"Alright, I am close by so I will go after them. max, stay close as a lookout. cleo try to get the cams working and jack, stay as backup." I ordered

"ok" everyone agreed.

when i got to the spot I was immediately able to spot Chris thanks to the hoodie he was wearing according to my instruction.

i was about to go talk to them when I saw a crowd cheering "Chris, Chris, Chris" and sam was getting pushed around in the crowd.

i realized that chris was standing in the archery exhibit. they had placed an apple on the top of his head. before anyone could react the arrow was shot. sam ran but I tackled him to the ground not letting him get in the part of the arrow.

i let go of sam and he stumbled and ran to his friend. i noticed prof stine leaving as everyone was distracted.

i followed him.

we were on the terrace in a few seconds.

"prof stine," I said facing his back

"Alex" he replied without turning

"I am sorry but aren't you a responsible a.d.u.l.t so why did you leave the scene when a fellow student had an "accident"", I said air quoting accident.

"what are you trying to say?"he asked looking like he was so done with everything.

"all cams and earpieces back online" Cleo whispered through the earpiece.

'good' I thought, this meant that everyone could hear our conversation.

"nothing you already don't know" i replied to prof stine.

"let's not beat around the bush" prof stine said facing me.

"let's not", I agreed.

"you were right like always,"he said showing me a genuine smile.

"i am the killer" he says while at the same time i say

"you are not the killer".
