CADENCE P.O.V

I woke up with growling sounds in my stomach. I looked up my wall clock and saw it was already three o'clock in the afternoon. I slept too much and I have not yet eaten since last night.

I stretch my arms and body for a while and went inside my bathroom. I stayed in my bathroom for a while. I open my closet and choose my faded black shorts and sleeveless blouse of course; I did not forget my bra.

I was about to go downstairs when a sound tapping from my window. When I looked at it there is a paper written across the other window. It was a bold letter; I AM SORRY I WAS A JERK! PLEASE FORGIVE ME. FROM YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBOORHOOD =)

I laughed reading that as I opened my window then window on the other side opened. The person who I encountered this morning smiled while extended his arms with bouquet of flowers holding. I do not know what came to me instead that I will still be angry but I found myself still smiling at him.

This is odd but looking at him, he seems sincere.

"Hi!" he said. "I am sorry for what I did this morning."

"You are forgiven but do not do that I again."

"Okay then how about I go over there and share my foods for me. Being your new jerk neighbor"

I stared at him for a moment. "Okay come over here." I smiled but to my surprise he went out from his veranda window took the ladder that has been there when her best friend Mary was still her neighbor. Before I knew it, my new neighbor was already in front of me with his hands full of foods. He totally prepared everything.

"Lead the way princess." He said smiling at her widely. 'Oh gosh, I love the way he smiles.'

*Ehem* I clear my throat so that I can never be obvious. Hell, what is wrong with me?

We walked inside my room then proceed down the stairs as he follows me with a word. We reached the kitchen; I grabbed some plates, forks and spoons while he placed all the foods in his hands on the table.

We sat across with each other while eating and talking.

"By the way, I did not know your name." I said as I get fried chicken and look at him.

"I am Jaron Davies, single and 18 going to 19." He answered me while his hands were busy. "What about you?"

"I am Cadence Marie Thomas, 18." I replied.

"Single? Or have boyfriend?" he asked as he placed down his spoon waiting for my answer.

"Single." I said but I saw him smirked. "What?" I asked as I rolled my eyes.

"Nothing and stop rolling your eyes. You will not going to like it what I do if I were you." He said while I got goosebumps as he said that.

We continued eating and chatting at the same time. More questions and answer portion as we get along. He transferred in the same school with me and us both senior students.

There were moments that he still teases me and I am getting immediately mad but still we hang out though.
