It didn't take long before the place become chaotic. Fendrel's soldiers rushed through the enemies without fear. They are in a V-like formation, bracing themselves from the incoming enemies.

Forcing through the enemy and reaping life, as though they were killing chickens. Seeing such a strange scene, the enemy's soldiers were taken aback. However, they snapped out of it immediately. Roar in anger, then flocked to the enemy crushing them with numbers.

Fendrel's soldiers were not even one-tenth of the enemy's number. However, they were like a grinder that will destroy everything that comes at them. When they were about to be surrounded, they formed a diamond shape formation.

The enemies tried to break their formation, nonetheless, every enemy that gets near to Fendrel's soldiers will get hacked to pieces, or becoming meat paste.

Seeing that the soldiers wherein a dire situation, Romarod and all the acolytes started praying.

"In the name of the almighty god!! Please grant us your holy power to protect your soldiers!!... 'Shield"

Shortly after they're done, a huge dome of light shields started materializing, enough to cover all the soldiers. Furthermore, while Romarod and the acolytes were chanting. The archers started preparing their link skill.

"All the archers!! Prepare to use the 'Rain Of Arrows' link skill!!!" The archer in command shouted.

All the archers raised their bows in unison, as though they were one in body. An invincible mana link began connecting on all the archers, shortly after a five feet tall arrow made of mana emerge above the archers...

Then all the archer's release the string of their bow in unison.

'Swoosh'

While the arrow was ascending it multiply into small arrows before descending. A rat-like humanoid soldier who was attacking the shield suddenly felt chill, it looked up instinctively... its eyes become round, seeing a rain like magic arrows in the sky.

The rat-like soldier snatch the shield of the person next to him, and hurriedly raised it to protect itself. That person was about to confront the one who took his shield, when an arrow penetrated his head. The next moment screams of despair resounded in the area, magic arrows started pouring in.

All the soldiers who have a shield raised their shield to protect themselves. As for those unlucky fellows who don't have a shield, they become a porcupine. While the others started leaving the area near the soldiers.

Since the archers were only small in numbers, the link skill was not that strong. It only covered around the trapped soldiers. Nonetheless, they killed almost 300 enemies, it's not a bad thing although the shield cast by Romarod broke because of some arrows hitting the shield.

However, that didn't make the soldiers cower, instead, they charge towards the disarray enemies.
