When Renae reached home, it was already 1700. After settling down in her bedroom, she pulled out her computer and starting doing research on the robbery at the National Bank. Afterwards, she looked through them and realised that the stories were quite different. Renae picked out the points that related to what auntie Ann had said and pieced them together. After reading through it, she finally checked the time... "1 00?! You've got to be kidding me... did I work on it that long?" She couldn't help but exclaim.

When she woke up the next day, she decided to head down to nearby police station to enquire more information about this situation.

"Good morning officer! Erm, do you guys, by any chance, have any info about the robbery at the bank a few days ago? "Good morning, yes we do. But we can only give that info to officers or official people that are involved in this case. I'm very sorry." a regretful look on her face as she apologised. "I am involved in this case. I am a close friend of one of the victims. Please let me in on this investigation." Renae said, her pupils almost on fire.

"Even so, you're not officially related to this investigation, so I can't share this information with you. I see you're determined so this person must be a person close to you but I can't do anything to relay the information to you." The female officer explained to her once again, but that didn't make her give up. "You're an official working on this case. If you give me the authority, then I will become officially part of this investigation and maybe even help. Please, I don't want to sit here doing nothing while my friend's life is on the line." Renae said, her voice this time was much stronger and more confident. What she said hit the female officer hard. She was dazed for a while before coming back to her senses. Finally, the female officer said, "Alright, I get it. You have a point... there are many MANY reasons why I still shouldn't let you onto this case, but since you seem so determined, I... I'll let you in on this case."
