Chapter 3583 The Sticky Note Girl
"Huff, huff."
Ji-eun was sleeping soundly, her breathing even, with a faint smile on her lips. The blanket covered her chin, revealing only her fair little face, like a cat curled up in its bed.
It really looks like it, and it's even fast asleep, looking like it's really exhausted.
Only Wang Taika and Liu Renna remained in the living room. The television was on, but no one was watching it; the screen flickered silently, casting alternating bright and dim light on the two of them.
Yoo In-na sat on the sofa without speaking or looking at Wang Taika. She just sat quietly, as if waiting for something, or as if waiting for nothing at all.
Wang Taika remained silent, speechless at what Yoo In-na had just said. He glanced at the time; it was almost eleven o'clock.
The atmosphere was somewhat awkward, but not in a tense, confrontational way; rather, it was an awkwardness where neither of them knew what to say or do. Like two parallel lines that had unexpectedly come close together, but both knew they shouldn't intersect.
It's all Yoo In-na's fault!
After a while, Yoo In-na stood up gently: "It's too late, I have to go."
Actually, Yoo In-na felt that Wang Taika was completely unnecessary today. If Wang Taika hadn't been there, she would have slept there.
Wang Taika looked out the window; it was already very late. "How are you going to get home so late?"
"I'll take a taxi." Liu Renna picked up her coat. "Just kidding, I'm driving. There aren't many people on the road at this time, it'll be quick."
Wang Taika stood up and picked up the car keys from the table: "I'll give you a ride."
“I’m driving, don’t you understand?” Yoo In-na asked.
Wang Taika asked seriously, "Are you sure you want to talk to me like this?"
Okay, Yoo In-na chickened out: "You're just being unreasonable. Fine, you stay here and keep Ji-eun company. She'll be disappointed if she wakes up and finds you're not here."
“You’re right, I’ll leave her a note.” Wang Taika looked around and found a sticky note. He wrote on it that he was going to deliver it to Liu Renna. Then he looked around and finally looked at Zhi En.
Yoo In-na couldn't help but ask, "You bastard, you're not planning to stick your face to her forehead, are you?"
"How did you know?" Wang Taika asked in surprise.
"Are you sick?!" Yoo In-na couldn't help but ask.
“Think about it, she wakes up, feels an itch on her head, picks it up and sees it, and that’s how she sees it,” Wang Taika said. “But if it were stuck somewhere else, she might not see it.”
That actually makes a lot of sense!
"Forget it, give it to me, I'll do it." Liu Renna, for some reason, agreed, took the note herself, and carefully stuck it on Zhi'en's forehead.
Ji-eun is fast asleep, while the sticky note is still fanning itself.
"Pfft!" Yoo In-na quickly covered her mouth.
Hilarious!
This scene was simply the funniest and most hilarious thing Yoo In-na had seen all year.
Wang Taika also turned away, covering his mouth, as he couldn't bear it any longer. Ji-eun is just too cute and too funny.
I really want to pinch her cheeks! Damn, Ji-eun is so cute!
Liu Renna gritted her teeth, looked at Wang Taika resentfully, and whispered, "Look at the idea you came up with, it's so stupid, what is this?"
Wang Taika took out his phone: "Let me take a picture first."
Yoo In-na pursed her lips: "Wait a minute, I'll take one too. Remember not to use the flash!"
"I'm not stupid," Wang Taika said in a low voice.
After taking the photos, they didn't leave. Wang Taika and Yoo In-na exchanged another glance, seemingly still wanting more.
Wang Taika was so wicked. He said, "Why don't we put up a few more and see if she wakes up?"
Yoo In-na pursed her lips: "Is this okay?"
“You don’t look like you’re refusing,” Wang Taika said in a low voice. “Let’s take turns sticking the sticker on her and see who can wake her up.”
"That's awful!" Yoo In-na said, picking up a sticky note. "My turn!"
So the two of them squatted down next to the sofa like two naughty kids, taking turns sticking sticky notes on Ji-eun's face.
Yoo In-na struck first, placing the first sticker on her forehead. IU remained motionless, her breathing steady, and she even smacked her lips slightly.
"Yay! She's not awake." Yoo In-na said softly, her tone slightly incredulous. "One more." Wang Tai-ka tore off a sheet and carefully stuck it on Ji-eun's left cheek.
Ji-eun is still not awake.
Not to be outdone, Yoo In-na posted a picture on her right cheek.
Ji-eun rolled over, muttering something incoherent, as if talking in her sleep. The two of them held their breath, squatting motionless like frozen villains.
A few seconds later, Ji-eun's breathing became steady again.
Wang Taika and Yoo In-na exchanged a glance, both of them letting out a sigh of relief, and then simultaneously trying not to laugh.
"Again," Wang Taika said in a breathy voice.
"Are you sick?" Yoo In-na replied in a breathy voice, but had already torn off a sticky note.
And so, the two of them took turns sticking sticky notes on Ji-eun's face. They stuck one on her forehead, cheeks, chin, nose, and even her eyelids.
Yoo In-na clenched her fist at Wang Tai-ka: "I put on this eyelid! Pretty impressive, huh!"
"No, what are you so proud of?" Wang Taika said speechlessly, then added, "I can do it too!"
When I turned around, I saw that Ji-eun's face was covered in sticky notes, and there was no room left. Ji-eun didn't react at all and slept like a child.
Liu Renna's hands trembled slightly, not from fear, but from trying to suppress her laughter. Looking at Zhi En's face covered in sticky notes, she finally couldn't hold back any longer, covering her mouth and turning away, her shoulders shaking.
Wang Taika couldn't take it anymore, burying his head in the back of the sofa, his whole body trembling. It was such a childish thing, but for some reason, he just couldn't stop.
It's all Jieun's fault! Being cute is such a hassle!
If Ji-eun knew what those two had done to her face, she'd probably kill them. But it's precisely because Ji-eun doesn't know that this is so interesting.
"Enough! Enough!" Liu Renna finally managed to utter a complete sentence, her voice trembling as she tried to suppress her laughter: "There's nowhere left to stick it."
Wang Taika looked up at Zhi En's face, which was covered with more than a dozen sticky notes, like a small flag wall.
Unable to resist, Wang Taika took out his phone and took another picture.
Yoo In-na also took out her phone, took a picture, and then zoomed in to look at it. She then whispered, "I'm going to keep this picture for the rest of my life."
Wang Taika asked, "Why are you saving it?"
"I'll use this to threaten you whenever you provoke me in the future," Yoo In-na said seriously.
Wang Taika retorted, "You're an accomplice too, aren't you?!"
"We haven't had enough fun yet!" Yoo In-na pursed her lips. "By the way, should we take them off? Let's just keep the very first one."
Wang Taika nodded: "Yes, yes, clean up the scene."
"I'll go first!" Yoo In-na carefully peeled off a sticky note. Ji-eun frowned slightly, startled, and her hand trembled. But Ji-eun just hummed and fell back into a deep sleep.
"Be gentle," Wang Taika whispered.
Liu Renna said, "If you're so good, then you do it."
Wang Taika reached out to peel off another card, almost touching Ji-eun's face. His heart skipped a beat, but in the end, nothing serious happened.
The two of them peeled off the cards one by one, their movements as gentle as if they were defusing a bomb. After each card was peeled off, they would glance at each other to make sure the other hadn't woken up Ji-eun.
Finally, only one picture remained. Ji-eun was fast asleep the whole time and didn't wake up at all.
"Alright, done. Let's get out of here. If this keeps up, we'll really wake him up," Wang Taika said.
"Whose fault is it? It's all your fault. Okay, stop talking, let's go!" Before leaving, Yoo In-na gently tucked the blanket around Ji-eun.
Ji-eun's breathing remained steady, and a faint smile lingered on her lips. She was completely unaware of what had just happened.
The two scoundrels stood up, tiptoed away, changed their shoes, and closed the door. Once outside and in their car, they exchanged a glance and then burst into laughter.
Yoo In-na couldn't help but ask, "Haha, how do you always come up with such wicked ideas!"
Wang Taika retorted, "No, what right do you have to talk to me like that?" (End of Chapter)
