Chapter 527 Sirius's Opposition

Chapter 527 Sirius's Opposition

"Oh my goodness!" Mrs. Weasley exclaimed with delight when she saw Ron's report card. Completely ignoring the tomato, beef, potato, and pea soup cooking on the stove, she rushed over and gave Ron a big hug.

Mrs. Weasley looked incredibly excited, clinging to Ron and refusing to let go—

"Look, look at your report card!" Mrs. Weasley exclaimed excitedly. "Although your grades are uneven and not as neat as Hermione's, you passed them all!"

“You didn’t even get a P!” Mrs. Weasley exclaimed happily. “I’m so happy! So proud of you!”

"Thank you, Mom," Ron said, blushing but proudly.

"Congratulations, Ron." At that moment, George and Fred also entered the kitchen. They had somehow learned that Harry, Ron, and Hermione's Overwatch League (OWL) results were out, and had been excitedly heading downstairs to see Ron make a fool of himself, but—

“George! And Fred!” Mrs. Weasley’s face immediately hardened when she saw her twin sons run downstairs. “You two should learn from your brother! I remember you two only got six OWLs combined last year!”

“Mom! That’s different!” George and Fred grumbled. “You know, the year we took the OWLs exam was the Goblet of Fire, a once-in-a-century event! We were affected!”

“Yes, Mom,” Fred chimed in, “and the year we took the exams, Tyella even—”

Fred was only halfway through his sentence when he suddenly felt a tickle on his lower back. He looked at George standing next to him, who frantically gave him meaningful glances—

Fred then realized how inappropriate his words were, immediately stopped talking, and then glanced at Harry discreetly.

Like everyone else, after realizing what Fred hadn't finished saying, they all involuntarily looked at Harry.

Harry silently shook his head to indicate that he was alright.

“Well… actually, besides the OWLs report card… we also received this.” Harry said, taking the admission notice for the Hogwarts University entrance exam from his pocket and handing it to Sirius, who was closest to him.

Ron and Hermione also took out their own portions and handed them to Alastor Moody and Mrs. Weasley.

The once bustling kitchen fell silent instantly.

Apart from the tomato, beef brisket, potato, and pea soup bubbling on the stove over the blazing fire, no one spoke.

However, this silence did not last long, because soon—

"That's outrageous!" Sirius Black slammed the Magic University general entrance exam admission notice he was holding onto the kitchen table.

"Damn it! That damned Tyella is definitely up to no good!" Sirius Black seemed very angry, and the usually well-mannered boy swore.

Not only Sirius, but all the adult wizards who read the instructions for the general entrance exam to the magic university had gloomy expressions.

Hermione seemed a little taken aback by the situation. She had anticipated that the adults wouldn't be too supportive of Tierra's plan for a magical university, but she didn't understand why they were acting so seriously. It was as if they had rejected Tierra's plan without even thinking about it.

“I’m sorry, Molly, I’m afraid I’ll have to waste your carefully prepared dinner.” Alastor Moody stood up sternly from his seat and limped towards the door. “I have to go see Dumbledore.”

After saying that, Alastomodi walked out of the gate of Plaza de Grimaldi without looking back.

“Sorry, I have to get to Knockturn Alley too.” Remus Lupin stood up, put on his coat, and bowed apologetically to Mrs. Weasley. “The fact that Tyella has taken the Ministry of Magic hostage and is now being taught Dark Arts by the Magical Union will soon be common knowledge. I’m sure the Dark Wizards in Knockturn Alley won’t stay quiet. I need to get firsthand information, so I’ll have to postpone your wonderful dinner until another opportunity.”

"Farewell." With that, Remus Lupin followed closely behind Moody and left number twelve Grimmauld Place.

After those two left, only a few underage wizards remained in the entire Order of the Phoenix headquarters: Mrs. Weasley, Sirius Black who had no connections, and the house-elf Kreacher.

Mrs. Weasley ignored the bubbling tomato, beef, potato, and pea soup on the stage, slowly found a chair, and sat down, staring blankly at the admission instructions for the Magic University general entrance exam that Ron had given her.

“Um, Mrs. Weasley?” Hermione called tentatively in a low voice. “Excuse me… excuse me, why… why are you all reacting so strongly to this? I mean, it’s obviously a good thing, isn’t it?”

"A good thing?" Sirius Black turned his head, looking at Hermione with a mixture of anger and confusion. "Why do you think this would be a good thing?"

“Well, what I mean is… well… Tyella’s founding of this magic university finally gives us the opportunity to access, no, to systematically learn those more advanced magical knowledge. Isn’t that a good thing?” Hermione replied carefully, choosing her words. “I mean, won’t this drive the innovation of magic in the wizarding world?”

“No!” Sirius firmly denied. “First of all, Hermione, you need to understand one thing: most of those so-called advanced magics you speak of are dark magic, or evil magic related to dark magic.”

“These spells are eternal, and you must remember that they should never be taught publicly,” Sirius Black said. “I would even say that these spells should have been destroyed the moment they were created, and the wizard who created them should have been burned at the stake!”

“Knowledge is not wrong,” Hermione retorted somewhat unhappily. “Those spells are developed based on the principles of magic, and are a partial manifestation of the laws of the world. To reject these spells is to reject the magical experience that our predecessors painstakingly accumulated, which is equivalent to rejecting knowledge.”

"Heh..." Sirius scoffed, "There are no laws governing the world at all. No wizard should touch these spells. To be precise, these spells are completely unnecessary and cumbersome, and will only bring unnecessary chaos to the wizarding world!"

“Look! Look! Look!” Hermione said, somewhat exasperated. “Your mindset is the reason why wizarding society has made no progress for hundreds or thousands of years! When faced with any difficulties or things you don’t understand, instead of trying to figure them out, you just think about rejecting and running away from them.”

“I believe that Tierra’s decision to reveal these spells to the wizarding world must be for the purpose of promoting the advancement and innovation of magical technology!” Hermione retorted.

“Oh, Tyella, Tyella, Tyella!” Sirius said in a high-pitched voice, mimicking Hermione’s tone, “Tyella has really brainwashed you quite a bit.”

“This isn’t brainwashing!” Hermione said angrily. “Tierra has become a four-dimensional divine being, which proves that wizards can clearly evolve in a better direction!”

“Divine beings!” Sirius exclaimed angrily. “That’s all a lie! There are no gods or divine beings at all!”
