After the divorce, I started to transfer

Chapter 1921 A Young Girl's Admiration

Hearing her say that, Chen Feng couldn't help but sigh inwardly.

Although he didn't know exactly how skilled this bodyguard named Borg was, he knew he was definitely among the top bodyguards. Otherwise, Alicia and her family wouldn't have shown such trust in him.

However, given the dangers Chen Feng foresaw, even with such a top-notch bodyguard protecting Alicia, Chen Feng still felt it wasn't entirely safe.

Therefore, the best approach is to avoid attending the graduation ceremony, especially the party that follows.

After hesitating for a while, Chen Feng finally asked again, "After your graduation ceremony, is there any kind of party or dance that evening?"

Alicia nodded immediately and replied, "Yes, after the graduation ceremony, we'll have a prom on campus that same evening. It'll be a huge party, maybe even all night long. Do you think there might be any danger at the prom?"

Chen Feng nodded seriously and said immediately, "Yes, I think you'd better not go to that all-night party. If you really have to go, I suggest you don't stay up all night. It's best to just go for the show and then go home right away."

Upon hearing this, Alicia hesitated for a moment before nodding in agreement, appearing quite obedient. "Alright then. I know you're worried about me and care about me, so I'll listen to you. I'll just go through the motions at that all-night party. Anyway, I don't really get along with those people. I'll just go through the motions, take some photos, and leave a memento with a few close friends and classmates."

Seeing how obedient she was, Chen Feng finally breathed a sigh of relief. This young woman wasn't truly rebellious after all; as long as he reasoned with her or let her know he cared, she was relatively compliant. That was good. If he had encountered those completely disobedient and rebellious girls, that would have been a real problem.

“Very good, if you can do that, then I’m relieved. You still need to bring your bodyguard with you,” Chen Feng instructed.

Alicia smiled and nodded: "Of course, since you said there would be danger, I definitely trust you. Besides, safety comes first, I understand. I will definitely bring Borg with me. He is my father's best bodyguard, like family to us. He has been with my father for many years."

"Then there shouldn't be any problem. Of course, it's possible that this is just my imagination, but as you know, I am different from ordinary people and have some special characteristics, so I think you should try to listen to me."

“Okay, Uncle John,” Alicia said, then giggled. She quickly added, “I was just joking. You can’t really think of yourself as my uncle. You’re actually quite young, and in my opinion, you’re much younger than my dad. You’re more like my brother than my uncle.”

Chen Feng smiled and said, "Actually, I don't want to be your uncle either. I feel very young myself. But don't treat me like an older brother. After all, I'm more than ten years older than you, so I can't be your older brother."

Alicia pressed on, "Then what should I consider you? I can't treat you as an elder, nor as my brother. Should I treat you as my boyfriend? Or should I be your girlfriend?"

Chen Feng was speechless for a moment, then shook his head and said, "Just treat me as your friend, well, a slightly older friend. As for girlfriends and stuff, I already have enough."

Chen Feng added these last few words, of course, to remind the young woman not to have any improper thoughts about him. He was a man with several girlfriends, the kind who was notorious for being a womanizer.

Alicia pouted and said, "Okay, my friend. Then I'll treat you as an older friend, OK? In the future, when I send you WeChat messages, you should try to reply to me, otherwise you won't consider me a friend."

In front of her and her family, Chen Feng couldn't very well refuse, so he said, "Okay, I'll try my best to reply to your messages from now on. But please try not to send me any trivial messages. I generally don't reply to messages unless it's something important, not only to you, but to everyone else, including my girlfriends."

"Okay, okay, I know. I know you have many girlfriends, you don't need to remind me again." Alicia looked very disappointed and finally let go of Chen Feng's hand.

She turned to her mother, Lillian, and said, “Mom, I’d like a cup of your freshly ground coffee, with extra milk and sugar.”

Bart quickly followed suit: "Me too, make me a cup too."

Lillian, being a doting mother, immediately nodded and said, "OK, I'll make you some coffee now. John, have a cup too. It's freshly ground from top-quality coffee beans brought from Brazil; it smells wonderful."

Although Chen Feng wasn't a big fan of coffee, he couldn't refuse since the other party had said so, so he nodded and agreed, "Okay, then I'll trouble you."

Lillian then went to the kitchen to grind and make coffee for them. Alicia quickly pulled Chen Feng to sit down on the sofa, chattering away with questions, especially about his childhood. Chen Feng was getting a headache from her questions, but for the sake of her father, Carl, he could only patiently give her vague answers.

For example, Alicia asked him if he was born with supernatural abilities and was different from ordinary people when he was a child.
Chen Feng initially answered honestly, saying he was no different from others when he was young, but Alicia clearly didn't believe him. Left with no other option, Chen Feng changed his story, saying he was indeed a little different. He explained that he was quiet and reserved as a child, but never caused trouble, and was exceptionally intelligent from a young age, often having strange and wonderful ideas. Only then did Alicia nod in satisfaction.

Then Alicia asked him if he had been popular with the opposite sex since he was a child.

Chen Feng answered truthfully, saying that it was indeed true; he was very cute when he was a child and was loved by girls and female elders.

Then Alicia asked him if he had been dating for a long time. Chen Feng wanted to tell the truth, because the fact was that he had never been in a relationship before college. But Alicia still didn't believe him, because he seemed so playboy now, it was impossible for him to have been a well-behaved boy before adulthood.

What could Chen Feng do? He could only follow her lead and answer her request: "I did have a puppy love relationship back in high school with a female classmate."

Alicia was satisfied. It could only be said that this heiress was incredibly curious about him, and seemed somewhat stubborn. She believed things were the way they were, and even if others explained, she wouldn't necessarily listen.

Chen Feng didn't feel good about this. Fortunately, Lillian finally finished making coffee and brought it over, allowing Chen Feng to temporarily escape Alicia's entanglement.

He picked up his coffee and took a sip; the freshly ground Brazilian coffee was indeed quite fragrant. It had a lot of sugar in it, and tasted really good. However, after a few sips, Alicia started asking Chen Feng a bunch of questions again, so Chen Feng quickly changed the subject, saying he could play games with them. This suggestion immediately received a positive response from Bart. Bart wasn't really a fool; at least he knew how to play games. He turned on the TV, connected his PS5, and grabbed the controller, ready to play a fighting game with Chen Feng.

The two ended up playing like complete noobs, with each getting a win and a loss. Chen Feng wasn't very skilled at the game either, and more importantly, he didn't want to appear too strong. So even though his hand speed was extremely fast, he would often deliberately create an opening, allowing Bart's character to kill his character and knock him out.

After a few rounds, Bart's game controller was snatched away by his younger sister, Alicia. She then started playing badminton with Chen Feng. This time, Chen Feng didn't indulge the little girl, and Alicia lost every single round.

Seeing her dejected expression, Chen Feng finally felt a little better. Alicia immediately switched games to play a shooting game with him, but of course, she lost again. Her character was killed several times by the character controlled by Chen Feng, which made her so angry that she almost smashed the controller.

Chen Feng burst into laughter, earning her a roll of her eyes.

They played like this until about 7 p.m., when Chen Feng said goodbye. Alicia tried her best to persuade him to stay, but Chen Feng said he had things to do back home and insisted on leaving. Seeing his firm attitude, Alicia had no choice but to give up, since he was currently staying in Beverly Hills, which wasn't too far from here.

Chen Feng hadn't been happy for long when Alicia immediately said, "Wait a moment, I'll pack my things and go back with you right away."

Chen Feng was stunned for a moment before suddenly realizing that he had promised to take her home as a guest, and he suddenly felt a little tired. But since he had already promised her, he couldn't go back on his word now, so he could only wait.

Alicia quickly ran upstairs to her room and came down a few minutes later carrying a suitcase. She came over happily, took Chen Feng's arm, and said, "Let's go, let's set off together."

This made Chen Feng feel like he'd been tricked. He should have stayed at their house for the night if he'd known. After all, when he told Molly and Luna, he'd planned to stay for a day or two. He was just afraid of this little girl, so he subconsciously wanted to go home early, but now he had to take her with him.

Most importantly, this was done with her parents' permission, which is a bit troublesome.

However, he quickly thought of Molly at the villa. She was also a heiress from a wealthy family, with a similar background to Alicia, and he believed the two of them would have common interests. So, when he returned, he planned to leave the young lady to Molly to entertain, thus freeing himself up.

Thinking of this, Chen Feng followed Alicia out the door. Watched by their mother Lillian and two older brothers, the two got into her family car and drove towards their villa in Beverly Hills. The drive back took about half an hour.

Alicia seemed very excited the whole way, as if she was going on a trip and adventure with Chen Feng. She clung to Chen Feng's arm, chattering incessantly with questions, giving Chen Feng a headache. However, he couldn't say anything too harsh to her, since his relationship with Karl was still quite good.

Besides, this girl was quite pretty, although her obvious admiration for him left him a little bewildered. But you couldn't blame him; Chen Feng's masculine charm was simply too strong, attracting these young girls was only natural.

Thankfully, the half hour finally passed. Chen Feng led her into his large villa. Although Alicia was quite worldly, this was the first time she had ever seen such a luxurious villa up close. She exclaimed in amazement repeatedly and took out her phone to take various selfies and photos in the flower-filled yard.

Chen Feng finally had a moment to take out his phone and call Molly, because he didn't see Molly's car in the yard.

The call connected quickly, and Chen Feng asked directly, "Aren't you at the villa? Where did you go?"

Molly replied, "I'm with Grace, just getting ready for dinner. What's up?"

Chen Feng said, "Then come back right away, and we'll have dinner when you get back. I'm already back, and I brought a guest with me, a female guest. Could you help entertain her?"

Molly was taken aback and asked, "Didn't you say you were going to stay at the Hicks' house for a day or two? Why are you back now?"

Chen Feng had no choice but to lower his voice and say, "His house isn't far from our villa, so it's more comfortable for him to stay at home. Hurry back, his daughter Alicia has come along too, you need to help entertain her."

Molly was even more surprised when she heard this: "Karl's daughter? Did she come alone? Or with her mother?"

"She came alone, so she wanted you to come and keep her company. It's not really appropriate for me, a guy, to keep her company all the time, right? Anyway, hurry back." Chen Feng seemed a little impatient.

Molly then said, "Alright, I'll head over now. But Grace's dinner is already prepared, so how about I bring her over to our house for a visit?"

Chen Feng was initially reluctant, but today's situation was special. He thought it might not be appropriate for Molly to accompany Alicia alone, but if Grace were added, it might be just right. After all, Grace was at least a minor Hollywood star, and Alicia had previously mentioned wanting him to introduce her to Hollywood celebrities, so Grace would be a suitable option.

So Chen Feng only hesitated for a moment before agreeing: "Okay, then bring your friends along."

Molly was overjoyed upon hearing this and immediately gave Grace an OK sign, saying with a smile, "Okay, I'll take Grace home right away, we'll be there in 10 minutes at the earliest."

"Okay, hurry up." Chen Feng said, then hung up the phone impatiently.

Alicia, seeing that he had finally put down his phone, immediately jogged over and said happily, "John, your villa is so beautiful and spacious, much prettier than the villas we live in now. I've decided, I'll stay here for the next couple of days, is that alright?"

Upon hearing this, Chen Feng was even more speechless. This little girl was clearly planning to cling to him, and the fact that her parents weren't stopping her only made things worse. (End of Chapter)
