Chapter 2367 (1)

I've seen wireless charging devices featuring Pikachu online before; they looked so cute and adorable. Some models even light up, making them more high-end and practical than ordinary decorative items.

Wireless charging for mobile phones is still not widespread. Most new mobile phones in recent years do not have wireless charging. Only flagship and high-end mobile phones have wireless charging functionality.

Looking at the promotional materials for this year's new phones, the emphasis is on upgraded and optimized waterproofing and drop resistance. According to the product specifications, theoretically, it can capture underwater or surface-level images, such as shooting in a basin of water with a shimmering effect, which is quite novel. However, without professional waterproofing, it's hard to say whether it will be damaged. But the waterproof rating is indeed much better than the previous splash-proof performance, showing significant progress in manufacturing technology. Drop resistance has also improved, theoretically able to withstand light drops of one meter or slightly more; anything higher wouldn't be feasible.

Some new smartphones now boast high-density batteries with capacities reaching 7,000 to 8,000 mAh or even higher, comparable to the capacity of tablets from three years ago. The technology is upgrading rapidly; next year, smartphones with battery capacities exceeding 10,000 mAh will be available. This configuration, previously only found in professional outdoor phones, will gradually be incorporated into regular smartphones, with minimal increase in weight and thickness, and even improved quality. In the past, some professional outdoor phones with tens of thousands of mAh batteries could weigh one or two kilograms, heavier than some tablets with screens of over ten inches. Newer phones, however, weigh only around 200 grams, with some even less. From a current perspective, their thickness is considered appropriate.
