The beast starts from zero

Sky-looking bird?
Are the birds that live here called Sky-Looking Birds?
Is Tianyangniao a fan of Little Treasure Hunter?

Qiao Sang was shocked; she hadn't expected that the fans in the Sky Bird Kingdom would have such a powerful background.

"Search."

Xiao Xunbao thought the fans in the distance looked familiar, so he squinted to look.

"Teeth!"

Ya Bao barked, indicating that this was the statue's pet!

The barrier cast by Penjami not only blocked out the figure, but also the sound.

The bird perched in the distant tree looked around, and finding nothing to see or hear, it looked down and its gaze landed precisely on the delivery box.

Its eyes glowed blue.

The next second, the delivery box under the tree appeared at its feet.

The Skybird stared at the delivery box for two seconds, then picked it up with its wings, turned around, and went back inside.

Immediately afterwards, a transparent barrier enveloped the area, and the house vanished as if it had never existed.

Meanwhile, Little Treasure Hunter was already incredibly excited inside the barrier in the distance.

"Search!"

"Search!"

It's my fan! The Sky-Looking Bird is my fan! I want to make a wish to it!

Qingbao looked incredulous; it hadn't expected that Xiao Xunbao would have such a high-ranking fan.

At the same time, a gust of wind suddenly rose up, swirling around on the ground.

"They have no taste, they have no taste at all!"

Qiao Sang, snapping out of her daze at the sound of the wind around her, pretended not to hear anything, looked at Little Treasure Hunter, and calmly said:
"Calm down. The most important thing now is to see if we can absorb and sense the emotional energy on the other side through the doll. The Sky Bird has gone in now and should be opening the package soon. Try to sense it."

"Search."

Little Treasure Hunter gave a "Okay then" look, called out, and then began to sense.

However, after sensing it for only a second, it couldn't help but let out another cry:
"Search!"

After I've finished sensing it, I'm going to find it and make a wish!

"Qingqing."

Qingbao let out a somewhat annoyed cry, indicating that this Skybird might not necessarily heed the prayers of Ghost-type pets.

"Tingting".

"Tingting".

Tingbao barked twice, indicating that the Sky-Looking Bird statue that had just appeared here was a statue specifically for listening to the prayers of Ghost-type pets. It is generally impossible for two statues with the same ability to appear in one place at the same time, so this Sky-Looking Bird should be a Sky-Looking Bird that specifically listens to the prayers of Ghost-type pets.

"Steel Power".

Gangbao cast an appreciative glance at Tingbao, nodded, and added with a call, indicating that even if this Skybird wasn't the one that helped grant Ghost-type Pokémon's wishes, it didn't matter, as it was a fan of its boss and would probably make an exception to grant wishes.

Qingbao: "."

"Search!"

The little treasure hunter became more and more excited as it listened, nodding repeatedly to show that it thought so too!

It couldn't wait to rush to the Sky-Looking Bird and make a wish.

Qiao Sang said:
"Okay, you can start sensing first. We'll discuss everything after the experiment is over."

"Looking around~"

Upon hearing this, Little Treasure Hunter's expression turned serious. He eagerly closed his eyes and began to sense.

Time passed slowly.

About a minute later, Little Treasure opened his eyes and shook his head in disappointment.

Because it couldn't sense any emotional energy, even making a wish felt somewhat uninspiring.

"Is that not possible?" Qiao Sang asked, somewhat disappointed.

To be honest, deep down she actually preferred that Little Treasure Hunt could sense and absorb the emotions, since although the absorbed emotional energy was different, the effects were the same: one could sense and enhance oneself through emotional energy.

Otherwise, she wouldn't have been so busy with this matter lately, even making dolls for Little Treasure to learn about spiritual connection.

"Why don't you try again?" Qiao Sang said, still somewhat unwilling to give up.

"Looking around~"

Little Treasure Hunter nodded, closed his eyes, and tried to sense again.

A moment later, it opened its eyes and shook its head:
"Search."

Still not working? Qiao Sang sighed inwardly.

"Qingqing."

Qingbao pretended to sigh and exclaimed, indicating that it seemed all his efforts had been in vain.

Although it was sighing, its expression was somewhat gloating.

"Search."

Little Treasure Hunter let out a heavy sigh.

"Tingting?"

At this moment, Tingbao called out, suggesting that perhaps the package from Tianyangniao hadn't been opened yet.

Little Treasure Hunter paused for a moment, then his eyes lit up again.

That makes sense. Giving up now is too early. They've only sensed it twice. Maybe the package hasn't been opened, or maybe the distance is too far. Qiao Sang's mastery of the Little Treasure Hunter's mental link is still only at the beginner level. Thinking this, Qiao Sang said:

“Tingbao is right. Let’s get closer and wait a while before trying to sense it again.”

"Looking around~"

Little Treasure Hunter nodded.

Qiao Sang led Ya Bao and the others forward, stopping about 50 meters away from the treehouse where the Sky-Looking Bird lived.

Penjami's eyes glowed blue, and the surrounding barrier rose up again.

Just as the barrier was about to completely conceal everyone's figures, Qiao Sang suddenly spoke up:

"Wait, don't cast the barrier yet."

As he spoke, the barrier had already been fully formed around them.

"Spray spray."

Penjame calmly called out, indicating that the other party was an Emperor-level pet beast, and if its aura was not concealed, it was very likely to be sensed.

“I know,” Qiao Sang said. “However, this Sky-Looking Bird also used a barrier-type skill around its habitat. If we all use this skill, I feel it might affect the effect of the Little Treasure Hunter’s mental link.”

This is not without examples. The power of bonds has a similar effect to mental links on the battlefield, but there are still some differences. For example, if the pet is injured, the Beastmaster will only know how serious the injury is and what its condition is, but will not feel pain in the same way.

For example, in a large competition, a pet used a less common barrier skill to block the mental link between another pet and its tamer, and ultimately won the competition.

"Spray spray."

Penjami nodded.

Immediately afterwards, the surrounding barriers disappeared.

About five minutes later, Qiao Sang nodded to Xiao Xunbao.

Little Treasure Hunter understood immediately and began to sense things carefully.

"Search."

A dozen seconds later, it shook its head in disappointment.

"Teeth!"

Before Qiao Sang could speak, Ya Bao barked, suggesting that it should break the barrier on the tree so that Little Treasure Seeker might be able to sense things more easily.

Little Treasure Hunter's eyes lit up at first, showing a "Great!" expression, but quickly, it seemed to remember something, the light in its eyes disappeared, and it cried out:
"Search."

This won't do; if we break the barrier, its fans will definitely notice.

Ya Bao wanted to say something more, but Qiao Sang calmly analyzed:
"The Skybird increases its energy by absorbing the power of faith. Even if it casts a barrier, it shouldn't be one that would affect the mental link." This means the barrier doesn't need to be broken intentionally.

"Teeth!"

Ya Bao understood and barked, indicating that even the little treasure hunter couldn't sense it, so it seemed it couldn't absorb energy through this method.

"Qingqing."

Qingbao nodded in complete agreement, thinking to himself that Yabao could be clever sometimes.

"Search."

Little Treasure Hunter sighed.

Qiao Sang pondered for a moment, then looked at Penjami and asked:

"If the mental link is successfully established, will I definitely be able to sense the emotional energy on the other end? Or do I need to practice in this area?"

She did study the mental link, but mainly looked at the relevant materials on how to learn it and what its effects were; she wasn't clear on some of the more specific details.

After a two-second silence, Penjami called out:
"Spray spray."

It should go back and ask its own beast tamer; she's smart, she should know.

After he finished speaking, his eyes gleamed with a blue light.

"No need, no need," Qiao Sang stopped her.

"Spray spray."

Penjame barked once to indicate that it was convenient and it would return immediately.

It wanted to prove to Josang the teaching value of its beast tamer.

"I'll just message the teacher and ask," Qiao Sang said, taking out her phone.

"Spray spray."

The blue light in Penjami's eyes silently disappeared.

Josan picked up his phone, found his chat with Teacher Michaela, and was about to send a message.

Suddenly, she sensed something and turned to look.

At the top of the towering tree fifty meters away, the barrier slowly disappeared, revealing half of the treehouse.

"Meimei," Qiao Sang called out in a low voice.

Penjami understood immediately, and her eyes gleamed with blue light.

A transparent barrier instantly enveloped the surroundings, obscuring everyone's figures.

At the same time, the barrier at the top of the tree completely disappeared.

The Skybird excitedly brought out a small treasure-hunting doll, looking around as if searching for something.

"Search?"

Fifty meters away, within the barrier, Little Treasure Hunter saw the doll held by the Sky-Looking Bird's wings. Upon seeing its appearance, he suddenly realized something and let out an excited cry.

Is it looking for me?
"That's quite possible." Qiao Sang's heart stirred, and she fell into deep thought.

The other party was selected by the Detection Shuttle, and judging from its appearance, it seems to genuinely like the Little Treasure Hunter. Why not communicate with it directly and see if we can try to sense and absorb it at a closer distance?
As the thought flashed through his mind, the eyes of the bird on the tree glowed blue. After scanning the area in front of it, it suddenly fixed its gaze on this direction with precision.

Upon being discovered, Qiao Sang glanced at the Sky-Looking Bird watching from afar, a thought flashed through his mind, and a skill's information appeared in his head:
True Sight is an extremely rare psychic-type skill. Pets with this skill can clearly see invisible ghost-type pets and barrier-type skills that obscure things. In the later stages of training, they can even see through all illusions.

"Look up to them!"

Just then, the Sky-Looking Bird suddenly disappeared from the tree and teleported to the front of the barrier.

"Teeth!"

Ya Bao instinctively stood in front of his own beast tamer, assuming a fighting stance.

Hearing the noise, Lu Bao poked her head out of her backpack.

"Search!"

Little Treasure Hunter looked surprised and exclaimed, "Didn't Meimei cast a barrier? Why do my fans seem to be able to see us?!"
Penjami looked at Josang, asking with her eyes what to do next.

Outside the barrier, the Sky-Looking Bird cried out excitedly:
"Look up to them!"

I see you! Come out!

It cried out and even flapped its wings against the barrier.

The wings did not flap against the barrier, but instead pierced through it, yet there was no trace of the wings penetrating inside the barrier.

The Skybird was unaware that its wing had pierced through the hole. It looked excited and stepped inside without hesitation.

The next second, the Sky-Looking Bird's body disappeared and reappeared on the other side of the barrier.

It was taken aback by the surrounding scene, then sensed something, abruptly turned its head, and found itself having passed directly through the entire barrier. It paused again, then its gaze landed precisely on the little treasure hunter inside the barrier, and it cried out excitedly:
"Look up to them!"

Little treasure hunter! Is this your skill?! That's amazing!

"Looking around~"

Inside the barrier, Little Treasure Hunter became embarrassed by the praise and scratched his head with his paw.

"Qingqing."

Qingbao rolled her eyes and exclaimed, indicating that this wasn't your skill.

"Open it." Jossan nodded to Gami.

Penjami understood immediately and began to circulate energy.

The next moment, the barrier disappeared.

"Look up to them!"

"Look up to them!"

"Look up to them!"

The Skybird excitedly teleported directly in front of Little Treasure Hunter, its claws hopping around with joy as it chirped excitedly, expressing its affection for Little Treasure Hunter.

"Search."

At first, Xiao Xunbao maintained a certain air of composure, head held high and chest puffed out. However, as he listened, he became more and more moved, and even a few tears welled up in his eyes, revealing an expression that seemed to say, "Am I really that good?"

"Look up to them!"

"Look up to them!"

"Look up to them!"

Tianyangniao nodded firmly, and then continued to excitedly express his admiration and love.

Qiao Sang was deeply moved as she watched the white energy continuously emerging from the Sky-Looking Bird and flowing into the Little Treasure Hunter's body.

After the Sky-Looking Bird excitedly expressed its affection for a full minute, it finally remembered that there were people and other pets around. Its gaze swept around the room, finally settling on Qiao Sang, and it let out a slightly excited cry:
"Look up to them!"

"Finally, you've noticed me." Qiao Sang smiled and said:

"Hello."

After that, the topic shifted to the dolls:
"Did you receive the doll, which is how you guessed that Little Treasure Hunt was nearby?"

"Look up to them!"

The Skybird picked up the doll, nodded, and chirped, indicating that it sensed the presence of spiritual energy inside. It had also watched Little Treasure Hunter's live stream and knew that Little Treasure Hunter was giving away dolls, so it thought it would come out to take a look. It didn't expect Little Treasure Hunter to actually be here!

After saying that, he looked at Xiao Xunbao with admiration.

Qingbao couldn't bear to watch any longer, so he vanished into thin air, out of sight, out of mind.

Qiao Sang was stunned for a moment:
"You sensed the spiritual power within the doll?"

"Look up to him."

The Sky-Looking Bird nodded, then looked at Little Treasure Hunter with a puzzled expression and called out:
"Look up?"

This seems to be a spiritual link. Why would you leave a spiritual link inside a doll?

After saying that, it seemed to remember something, its expression became excited, and it cried out:
"Look up to them!"

You're amazing! You even have a mental link!
Little Treasure Hunter felt a surge of pride, then looked at his Beastmaster, unsure whether to answer the question.

Qiao Sang paused for a moment, then said directly:
"I want Little Treasure to try and see if it can sense the emotional energy of the other side's affection for it through the spiritual connection it has with the doll." (End of Chapter)
