The beast starts from zero

The Skybird was taken aback at first, then excitedly raised the doll, looked at Little Treasure Hunter, and cried out:
"Look up?"

Did you feel its affection just now?
As it spoke, the paws happily hopped from side to side.

"Search."

Little Treasure Hunter shook his head.

Upon hearing this, the Sky-Looking Bird immediately stopped hopping around with its claws, showed an anxious expression, and cried out twice in a hurry:

"Look up to them!"

"Look up to them!"

How could I not feel it! I really like you! I've watched every single one of your matches and every live stream! How could you not feel it!
"Search."

Upon hearing this, Little Treasure Hunt showed a touched expression, then sighed and barked, indicating that it might not be able to sense the affection on the other end through the mental link.
"Look up to them!"

The Skybird immediately cried out, indicating that it was impossible! Using a mental link allows one to sense the other party's emotions.

After saying that, it seemed to remember something, glanced at the doll, and then called out again in a certain tone:
"Look up?"

Have you just learned how to connect with others on a spiritual level?
Qiao Sang's heart skipped a beat.

"Looking around~"

Little Treasure Hunter nodded.

"Look up to him."

The Sky-Looking Bird gave a "That explains it" look and cried out, indicating that since it had just learned this skill, it couldn't sense the other side's emotions through inanimate objects. It needed to be more proficient. If the target it was linking to also had spiritual power, it would be easier to sense something.

"Search!"

Little Treasure Hunter had an "Oh, I see" look on his face.

"Look up to them!"

The Skybird cried out, indicating "Of course," and then happily flapped its wing at Little Treasure Hunter, crying out again:
"Look up to them!"

I knew it! It turns out your mental link proficiency is too low. I knew I liked you so much, how could you not feel my affection!

"Looking around~"

Little Treasure scratched its head with its paw, looking a little embarrassed.

The wind started blowing for no reason.

"What terrible taste! What terrible taste!"

Speaking of which, the Sky-Looking Birds definitely know more about sensing and absorbing emotional energy through media than Teacher Michaela, after all, this race even established a nation to absorb the power of faith. Ignoring the surrounding whispers, Jossan seized the opportunity to ask:
Can I ask you a question?

The Sky-Looking Bird turned its head and looked over, then nodded:

"Look up to them!"

of course can.

"If a pet can increase its own energy by absorbing emotional energy, can it absorb it simply by sensing the appropriate emotional energy on the other end through a mental link?" Qiao Sang asked.

Upon hearing this, the Sky-Looking Bird immediately understood, its expression filled with surprise, and it cried out:
"Look up?"

Can Little Treasure Hunt gain energy by expressing my feelings of liking it?
Qiao Sang looked at the white energy that was still flowing from its body towards Little Treasure Seeker, and without hiding anything, nodded with a smile:
"Yes, Little Treasure Hunt can increase its own energy by leveraging the emotional energy of people genuinely liking it."

She never intended to hide this matter. In the future, when Little Treasure completes its evolution at the competition and breaks through the racial limit, it will definitely be thoroughly investigated and interviewed by various media outlets. At that time, she will also tell about this matter.

In any case, knowing the evolutionary conditions for breaking through the racial limit is definitely a great thing for the Little Treasure Hunter race, and it will also be a major breakthrough for the breeding industry of Blue Star Dragon Kingdom. In addition to the Little Treasure Hunter race, many Ghost-type races may also benefit from this.

"Look up to them!"

Upon hearing this, the Sky-Looking Bird excitedly started hopping around in its claws again, letting out a cry that said, "That's wonderful! I never thought I could help Little Treasure Hunter become stronger!"
"Search."

Little Treasure was deeply moved; it truly felt that the Sky-Looking Bird in front of it liked it.

"Qingqing."

Qingbao couldn't bear it any longer and appeared, calling out to indicate that Xiaoxunbao couldn't even sense emotions through the mental link, and might not be able to absorb energy.

Upon hearing this, Tianyangniao's eyes instantly sharpened as he looked over.

As a die-hard fan of Little Treasure Hunt, how can I tolerate anyone or any pet looking down on Little Treasure Hunt!

However, when it saw that it was Qingbao, it remembered that the other party was Xiao Xunbao's partner, and for the sake of future team harmony, it held back and barked:
"Look up to them!"

It doesn't know about other pets, but it's confident that it can absorb the treasure!

"Search."

Little Treasure Hunter looked deeply moved.

Qingbao: "."

"Oh no, with this fan bias, it's hard to make a rational judgment," Qiao Sang thought to herself, then asked:

"What if it's not Little Treasure Hunter? Can other pets sense and absorb it?"

"Look up to him."

When it came to not being involved in the small treasure hunt, the Skybird calmed down and made a rational call, indicating that it depended on many factors: first, the distance; second, whether the other party's emotions were intense enough; and third, whether the pet itself could absorb the energy.

Distance, intense emotions—Qiao Sang mentally summarized these three points, then, as if remembering something, her gaze fell on the Sky-Looking Bird, and she said sincerely:
"Could you do me a favor?"

"Look up to him."

The bird looked over and nodded without hesitation.

of course can.

Although its idol is Little Treasure Hunter, it also likes Little Treasure Hunter's Beastmaster, Qiao Sang, very much. After all, without Qiao Sang's training, Little Treasure Hunter would not have been able to perform so well in the battle.

That's great. Although it wasn't surprising that the Skybird Society agreed to help, Qiao Sang was still quite pleased.

This Sky-Looking Bird is undoubtedly a loyal fan of Little Treasure Hunter. Distance, intense emotions, and the pet itself are all factors to consider. The Sky-Looking Bird can help with the first two points, allowing for a faster analysis of whether Little Treasure Hunter can quickly increase its energy through this method.

She gathered her thoughts, opened her mouth, and was about to speak when Little Treasure Hunter raised its paw and cried out excitedly:
"Search!"

It wants to get bigger!

Qiao Sang: "."

"Yangyang?" Tianyang Bird looked at Xiao Xunbao.

Get bigger?

"Search!"

Little Treasure Hunter nodded quickly and barked, indicating that it wanted to wish to grow bigger!

After a pause, it added another cry:
"Search!"

It doesn't need to grow bigger now; it can evolve and grow bigger later!
After saying that, he looked at the Sky-Looking Bird with an expectant expression.

The Skybird remained silent, not responding to Little Treasure Hunter as it had done before.

Qiao Sang coughed and said, "That's not the kind of help I'm talking about. I want you to help Little Treasure Hunter test how far away it can absorb emotional energy through the doll."

Little Treasure Hunter: "."

It thought its own beast tamer wanted the Sky-Looking Bird to fulfill its wish.
The Sky-Looking Bird revealed an "Oh, so that's what it is" expression, then looked at Little Treasure Hunter and called out:
"Look up?"

Do you want to get bigger?

"Search!"

Little Treasure Hunter's eyes suddenly lit up, and he nodded vigorously.

"Look up to him."

The Skybird looked puzzled and cried out, "But isn't your size pretty good? You look cute, and you're not easy for your opponent to attack during battle."

Its language is exceptionally sincere because that's what it truly believes.

"Search!"

Little Treasure Hunter cried out, indicating that it was so small and didn't look like a powerful pet at all, even though it was clearly very powerful.

"Look up to them!"

The Sky-Looking Bird raised its voice and cried out, indicating that it was talking nonsense! You are clearly a powerful pet beast!
"Search!"

Little Treasure pursed his lips and cried out, indicating that he was not strong enough, as even the sixth brother looked stronger than him.

As she spoke, she floated to Tingbao's side. Tingbao blinked.

Although Tingbao was wearing a miniature shrinking bracelet at the moment, its scales were hard and shimmered with a cold light. In addition, its appearance as a dragon-type pet and its size being slightly larger than Xiaoxunbao's, coupled with the fact that Xiaoxunbao did not exude any domineering aura at the moment, made Tingbao look more powerful from a visual point of view.

The Sky-Looking Bird was silent for a moment, then blatantly lied:
"Look up to him."

You need to believe in yourself; of course, you look stronger.

That's what it said, but its eyes were looking upwards, not daring to look at Little Treasure Hunter, looking guilty.

Little Treasure Hunter: "."

“Alright, we can talk about the size increase later.” Qiao Sang returned to the main topic: “Right now, the priority is to test whether Little Treasure Hunter can sense and absorb emotional energy through the mental link.”

"Look up to them!"

The Sky-Looking Bird looked over, giving a "What are you talking about?" look, and cried out, indicating that no test was needed and the Little Treasure Hunter could definitely sense and absorb it.

Qiao Sang: "."

Qiao Sang corrected his previous statement: "I hope you can help Little Treasure Hunt test under what circumstances it can sense and absorb this energy."

"Look up to them!"

The Sky-Looking Bird immediately showed an expression of duty and cried out, indicating that it was its honor.

After speaking, it paused, then cried out again, expressing its opinion:
"Look up to him."

It felt that the most important thing for the little treasure hunter right now was to improve his proficiency in the mental link.

"That's simple, just add the points, but it's not good to add them right away in this situation," Qiao Sang said. "Could you please help Little Treasure Hunter train his mental link?"

"Look up to them!"

The bird's eyes lit up, and it quickly nodded.

Qiao Sang looked at Little Treasure Hunter and said, "Practice with the Sky-Looking Bird first."

"Looking around~"

Little Treasure Hunter nodded.

In the following period, the Sky-Looking Bird began to train Little Treasure Hunter in a mental link.

"Look up to him."

"Look up to him."

The Skybird patiently taught, speaking while coordinating its wing movements, its eyes gleaming with blue light.

"Looking around~"

"Looking around~"

Little Treasure Hunter nodded from time to time, his eyes gleaming with blue light.

Qiao Sang watched from the sidelines. After about five minutes of training, she came to Penjami's side and said:
"Meimei, why don't you go back first? We might have to stay here for a while."

"Spray spray."

Penjami barked, indicating that it was okay and it could stay with her.

"With you here with me, I can't just give Little Treasure Hunt points directly," Qiao Sang thought to herself.

Meimei knew perfectly well that Xiaoxunbao had only learned the mental link last night. If she were to give it points during the Skybird's training time to increase its proficiency to the next stage, she was worried that Meimei would notice something.

Qiao Sang said earnestly:
"Our teacher should be searching for alien pets right now, and I think she needs your help more than I do."

Gangbao glanced silently at his own beast tamer.

Penjami recalled how her beast tamer, on his recent journey to find alien pets, would sometimes impulsively seek out an ice-type pet to freeze him.

If I didn't have myself
Penjami couldn't help but imagine a scene in her mind.

Her own beast tamer, along with the knowledgeable monster and the lonely one, were searching the streets when she spotted an ice-type pet. Her eyes lit up, and she ran over to have it freeze her.

Jiu Bugu stretched out his claws, ready to catch his own beast tamer.

But just then, a beautiful female pet passed by.

Jiu Bugu's gaze was instantly drawn to the female pet.

His own beast tamer turned into an ice sculpture and collapsed to the ground.

Immediately afterwards, Penjami imagined another scene.

Her own beast tamer, along with the object-observant monster and the wishless one, were searching the streets when she spotted an ice-type pet. Her eyes lit up, and she ran over to have it freeze her.

An ice-type pet attacked her with an ice-type skill.

Their own beast tamer was frozen into ice.

Wu Yuanxiang glanced indifferently at his beast tamer, then led the object-recognizing monster forward.

His own beast tamer turned into an ice sculpture and collapsed to the ground.

Thinking this through, Penjami stopped insisting and called out:
"Spray spray."

Then it will go back first. If you need anything, you can call its Beastmaster anytime.

“Okay,” Qiao Sang nodded.

Penjami's eyes glowed blue, and she vanished from the spot.

Qiao Sang glanced at the direction where Little Treasure Hunter and Sky-Looking Bird were training, then quickly entered the Beast Taming Codex, turned to the page about Little Treasure Hunter, and directly increased the proficiency of the mental link to the master level.

The Skybird is too familiar with the Spirit Link skill. When it saw the doll, it immediately sensed the spiritual power inside. To be on the safe side, it's better not to increase its proficiency too much at once.

Meanwhile, Little Treasure Hunter and Skybird are undergoing training to form a mental link.

"Search."

The blue light in Little Treasure's eyes faded, it shook its head, and cried out, indicating that it couldn't, it could only sense and absorb energy directly from you.

"Look up to them!"

Upon hearing this, the Skybird happily hopped left and right with its claws.

I told you I really like you!

"Looking around~"

Little Treasure Hunter's low spirits vanished instantly, and he scratched his head sheepishly.

"Look up to him."

The Skybird returned to its proper tone, letting out a cry to indicate that perhaps it was because it was too close to the other bird, making it difficult for the other bird to sense it through the mental link. It suggested that it move further away.

"Looking around~"

Little Treasure Hunter nodded.

The Skybird, clutching the toy, flapped its wings and climbed to a nearby tree, nodding to the little treasure hunter below.

At this moment, Qiao Sang had regained consciousness and returned to reality.

"Search."

Little Treasure Hunter carefully sensed it, then shook its head at Sky-Looking Bird with a disappointed expression.

The bird was just about to fly closer.

Looking at the Sky-Looking Bird, Qiao Sang suddenly thought of something and said:
"Can you express your love for Little Treasure Hunt by looking at the doll?"

The bird was taken aback at first, then its eyes lit up, revealing an expression that said, "You're right." It then lifted the doll up and cried out, "Look up, look up," expressing its fondness for it.

The little treasure hunter below felt increasingly embarrassed as he listened.

Qiao Sang reminded him:
"Quick Sensing".

"Looking around~"

Little Treasure Hunter called out and began to sense things seriously.

One second, two seconds
About five seconds later, Little Treasure Hunter's eyes lit up with excitement, and he shouted.

It sensed it! (End of Chapter)
