The Lord of the Rings: Lords of Middle-earth.

Chapter 1074 Where is the Magical Ring?

Chapter 1074 Where is the Magical Ring?
Roland calmed down and thought about it. Gandalf's strength was definitely not right. After all, this guy was nominally the Grey Wizard, but unlike the Grey Wizard in the movies, this world was a world under magic, and Grey Wizard was a fourth-order wizard. For others, this level was no problem, but for Gandalf... Roland narrowed his eyes. Based on Gandalf's fame and the length of his career, if anyone believed he was the Grey Wizard, Roland would just eat his staff!

"Tsk! That old fox Redagast is a real schemer!" Roland suddenly thought of someone even more outrageous, the "Hare Knight" known as the Brown-Robed Wizard, who was probably also a hidden talent...

Roland glanced at the crowd, a sudden thought striking him. Could it be that the gray-robed and brown-robed figures were the initial levels these two "fathers" were known for in the public eye? After all, they'd been called that since their "debut"...

"Holy crap! Gandalf isn't a demigod, is he?" Roland exclaimed.

"What demigod? My Majesty?" Marquis Al-Tegran Franz immediately pressed forward, displaying his demeanor and insight as a court nobleman.

"..." Omske, watching from behind, felt a jolt in his eyelids. No wonder he was a marquis! Let's learn from him! There's no end to learning!

"It's nothing, I just thought of something interesting!" Roland shook his head, a guess forming in his mind.

"Hiss... Could these guys really be ancient monsters?" Roland's heart skipped a beat. In the original story, three Maiars transformed into wizards and arrived in Middle-earth, but in the end, the quota became five. One was a white-robed wizard, one was a brown-robed wizard, one was a gray-robed wizard, and two were blue-robed wizards... The names of these five powerful beings were Kurumo, Orolin, Ewendir, Alatar, and Palandor!
The first three are Saruman, Gandalf, and Redagast, whom everyone later became familiar with! As for the two blue wizards later, Tolkien didn't explicitly mention them in the original work. Tolkien suggested they might eventually fall into servitude like Saruman, becoming servants of Sauron. However, later accounts suggest that if it weren't for Alatar and Palendor's continued activities in the East, Sauron would have had many more allies there, so they might not have fallen. But the reason they didn't return to Valinor remains unknown!

But considering the current situation, Roland feels that even if these two haven't fallen, their fate is likely grim... What? You ask how Roland knows? The charioteers' wheels are practically crushing the Lagrang Kingdom in the face! The only possible advantage is their alliance with the Eastern Elves? That's it! The Elves and other intelligent races in the Northeast shouldn't have yet become Sauron's minions; that's probably their only achievement. As for the East and Southeast? They've already taken the shape of Sauron!

“It seems that although the history of this world is different from the original story, the origins of these wizards should be the same. These few are probably the lucky ones who arrived in Middle-earth after the fall of the gods! I wonder what caused them to lose their power? Or perhaps they also lost a lot of their memories?” Roland thought with a bitter face. The foresight of a transmigrator completely failed at this moment.

“However, Naya, the Ring of Fire, should still be in his possession!” Roland recalled the time he spent with Gandalf and was certain that he had an ancient ring on his hand. Combining this with the historical records, it must be Naya, the Ring of Fire, one of the Three Rings of the Elves.

It's hilarious, Middle-earth could just be renamed "Where Are the Magical Rings?" We can now be certain of the existence of the Three Rings of the Elves, the Seven Rings of the Dwarves, the Nine Rings of Man, and the One Ring! These are the Middle-earth factions. The Lagrang Empire has the Nine Rings of the Knights, and also the Eternal Ring, the personal ring of the Lagrang Emperor! Everyone might as well just start a war of the Rings… It'll just end up being a war of the Ringbearers, practically like the Fourth Shinobi World War in Naruto, a civil war in Konoha!
Therefore, Roland speculates that Gandalf's strength is at least at the sixth rank or higher. As for the battle at Lonely Mountain, either Gandalf was just putting on an act, or he had reservations about unleashing his full power! However, considering Gandalf's past and character, the second possibility is more likely!
As for why these beings could outlive even the elves, Roland had a guess: they might have received the benefits or some kind of blessing from the Age of Gods, which allowed them to maintain their vigorous vitality even after surviving in Middle-earth.
“Marquis Franz…” Roland called out softly.

“Yes, Your Majesty!” Marquis Al-Tegran Franz immediately approached.

"I miss my wife..." Roland suddenly felt a pang of sadness, and the urge to miss Nyx almost burst out of his chest!

“Alright! I’ll go and invite Her Majesty the Queen right away…” Marquis Al-Tegran Franz grinned and was about to turn around when he suddenly stopped pulling on the reins as if his throat had been choked.

"This...this old minister cannot do it!" Marquis Al-Tegran Franz was on the verge of tears. Although he was proficient in both martial arts and magic, he was good at everything but not good at anything...The super-distance teleportation magic was something that required at least the level of a great sage to cast alone. Given the current situation in the Kingdom of Lagran, no one could do it!
"Hey, I wasn't expecting anything from you anyway, I was just venting!" Roland comforted him, knowing that even if Duke Yunfeng beat him to death, he would never send Nyx to his side.

“No! Someone should be able to!” Marquis Al-Tegran Franz said, raising an eyebrow.

"Oh? I have such a valiant general under my command? Who is it?" Roland raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Ms. Lilith in her prime could absolutely be!" Marquis Al-Tegran-Franz replied with a smile.

"Get lost!" Roland rolled his eyes. Judging from how much Maple Forest Orchid doted on his wife, Marquis Al-Tegran Franz would have been chased for ten miles on his dragon if he dared to say a word. Not to mention that Lilith is now a nominal sixth-order sage, and if they really fought, she would probably be about the same as a fourth or fifth-order mage.

"Your Majesty Thranduil!" Roland waved to Thranduil, who turned and stopped, then turned his stag head and walked against the flow of people toward Roland.

"What's wrong, King Roland?" Thranduil didn't understand why Roland had suddenly called out to him, but he still came closer.

"When did your impression of Gandalf reach its peak?" Roland asked.

“Gandalf? Wasn’t he active in Middle-earth in the 1000th year of the Third Age?” Thranduil was a long-time resident of Middle-earth since the First Age and knew a lot about major events in Middle-earth.

"Oh? How did he get here?" Roland raised an eyebrow.

“Of course it came from the Grey Harbor!” Thranduil blinked, not understanding why Roland was asking this.

"What does the West have?" Roland pressed on, realizing he might be about to uncover a part of the truth about the world.

“The West? There was once a continent there, said to be Aman, the territory of the gods, and we elves were said to be their favorites! But that continent has sunk…” Thranduil shook his head and sighed.

"It sank? When?" Roland asked, frowning.

“It was gone at least before I was born!” Thranduil shrugged.

"Where the hell did Gandalf and his people come from? Three ages ago! They came from the West!" Roland's voice jolted Thranduil awake, and even Thorin looked at him with horror.

"Could it have crawled out from under the sea?" Marquis Al-Tegran Franz murmured.
