Chapter 1105 Preparing for Bilbo's Wedding

Chapter 1105 Preparing for Bilbo's Wedding
"Congratulations, Mr. Baggins!"

Good morning, Mr. Baggins!

Early in the morning, everyone greeted Bilbo as he walked out the door. Seeing their mischievous smiles, Bilbo's face, already adorned with dark circles under his eyes, darkened even more!

"Hey! Where did you go last night, Roland? Why do you smell like orc blood?" Bilbo asked anxiously.

“Oh! It’s like this, Aragorn and I were drinking at the Green Dragon Inn yesterday and wandering around outside in the evening when we ran into orcs. We killed quite a few of them!” Roland explained, pointing to Aragorn for Bilbo to see.

“Hello, Mr. Aragorn! Thank you for fighting here!” Bilbo said gratefully.

"It's alright, fighting for you... fighting for this place is my honor!" Aragorn almost slipped up, so he quickly corrected himself.

"It's too dangerous for you two. How did the orcs get here?" Bilbo ignored Aragorn's words, focusing only on the two of them and wondering how the orcs got here.

“I do know that!” Roland nodded seriously.

"???" He didn't speak, but everyone's eyes instantly focused on him. Several people's gazes began to wander. Roland, the cipher master, are you going to set off firecrackers for the brothers? Did your conscience awaken and you're going to confess?

"..." The crowd exchanged knowing glances, deciding that if Roland spoke nonsense, they would immediately shake their heads in denial! Roland losing face was one thing, but everyone else's dignity couldn't be thrown to the ground, especially Thranduil. The others would die in a hundred or two hundred years, but he was different! His long life would allow him to witness the epic's transmission firsthand! He wouldn't just die then!
“What do you know, King Roland?” Thranduil spoke first, frantically giving Roland meaningful glances.

"Huh? Your Majesty Thranduil, are your eyes uncomfortable?" Roland looked at Thranduil, who was blinking wildly, with a shocked expression on his face.

“It’s nothing…” Thranduil said, sounding somewhat weary.

“That’s right, Mr. Aragorn wants to reclaim their old lands, so the Dúnedan will no longer protect the Shire! They will return to the old capital, probably because they didn’t need the Dúnedan to clear out the orcs and went south!” Roland explained.

“Ah…” Thranduil nodded. So that’s what you wanted to say. I thought you were going to start confessing!
“That’s right! I’m sorry, Mr. Bilbo!” Aragorn nodded.

“Ah…” Bilbo pondered for a moment.

"Alright, stop thinking about it! Let's go! Let's go to town to buy things!" Roland dragged Bilbo outside.

“Buy? Buy things?” Bilbo stammered.

"You're getting married today! If you don't go buy it now, when will you?" Roland retorted.

"???" Bilbo's legs went weak and he stumbled backward.

"Good morning, Miss Anne! Today is your first day of marriage. Is there anything you need? For example, the style of the wedding?" Roland smiled kindly at Anne Boleyn, who was peeking out from behind the door.

“…I…I can do anything!” Anne Boleyn said, mustering her courage, before slamming the door shut.

“…I…I…haven’t gone back yet…” Bilbo’s voice trailed off as he looked at the closed green gate.

"Let's go! You're a grown man! You're more cowardly than a woman!" Roland grabbed Bilbo and pulled him away.

“Yes, Lord Baggins! A man should be magnanimous and decisive! Show the courage you had when you were on your expedition to Lonely Mountain!” Thorin encouraged.

"The courage of the expedition to Lonely Mountain?" Bilbo was taken aback.

"Of course! Women love it that way! It makes you feel safe and shows your manly spirit! Just imagine when you appear before your princess fully armed on a tall horse, aren't you her prince charming? Be brave! Go for it!" Bai Yi nodded seriously.

"Oh no! We forgot to invite Anne's parents!" Thranduil slapped his forehead. Just having the girl there wasn't enough! A wedding needs the blessings of both sets of parents! Although Bilbo wouldn't need them now. "Her...her parents have passed away!" Bilbo sighed regretfully.

"It's alright! Your brothers will wish you well!" Thorin came over and patted him on the shoulder, speaking with utmost sincerity.

"Did she agree? Should we... ask Anne..." Bilbo Baggins asked incoherently, looking at everyone.

"Hiss!" Roland scratched his head, somewhat speechless.

"Pure wood!" Bai Yi said with a look of disappointment.

“I think you’d better not ask…” Bard shook his head. If you ask, you’ll probably be sleeping on the floor tonight! Even if Bard didn’t know the customs of the hobbits, he knew the significance of a man and a woman being alone together in a room. They had been guarding outside all night yesterday. If Annie really didn’t want to, they would have let her go. But it was obvious that the two of them had a quiet night, and Annie didn’t seem to want to leave this morning. Wasn’t the result obvious?
“That makes sense! I think it’s sacred to ask a girl how she feels and confirm each other’s feelings!” Aragorn suddenly said, his eyes full of longing. It was obvious that he was fantasizing about Alvin!
"I am holy to you, Thunder!" Roland blurted out.

"Come on! Our groom! Today we're going to make sure everything is perfectly arranged for you!"

……

"This outfit... isn't it a bit too..." Bilbo said with embarrassment, after all, it was too flashy! Roland pulled out a custom-made suit of armor from somewhere, and when Bilbo put it on, the sunlight shining on it hurt his eyes.

"Cool!" several humans exclaimed in unison, only Thranduil and his son exchanged a glance and remained silent.

……

"Ah! This smells wonderful! This is it!" Thranduil declared without hesitation, choosing two perfumes: one for Bilbo and one for the bride!
"This...this? What perfume should I wear?" Bilbo asked awkwardly.

"Let's go! Next!" Roland ignored his feelings, picked up his hind armor and left!

……

"Franz! How did things go?" Roland asked, looking at Franz who had appeared beside him on horseback.

"Don't worry, Your Majesty! Lady Anne has already hired the best tailors to rush the work! The wedding dress will be ready before noon!" Marquis Al-Tegran-Franz nodded.

“What about Caslo?” Roland continued to ask.

"He's still haggling with the tavern and some suppliers! There's a lot of stuff to prepare for the banquet, so I sent him to persuade those unscrupulous merchants!" Marquis Al-Tegran Franz smiled mysteriously.

"Persuade a shrewd merchant? Are you kidding me? Does he even have that ability?" Roland's eyelids twitched. How come he hadn't realized Caslo had any business acumen? In the entire kingdom, only Ruhr knew how to trade, and that guy was now a royal merchant!
“No! But I set a reasonable price range for him, and told him to refer to that when buying!” Marquis Al-Tegran Franz nodded.

"Can he negotiate the price down?" Roland asked doubtfully.

“Oh, is that so! I had him ride a dragon and carry a sword!” Marquis Al-Tegran-Franz smiled slightly.

"..." Roland's lips twitched. Fine, fine! If you can't lower the price, you'll resort to violence, huh?
"Have him hurry up! It would be undignified if the guests arrived before the food was served!" Roland nodded.

"Impressive! Handsome! No wonder you are the lord of the Charles!" Roland turned and patted Bilbo on the shoulder.

“???” Bilbo was stunned.

“Roland? What lord?” Bilbo exclaimed in shock.

I had high blood pressure and dizziness yesterday, so I couldn't type anything. Sorry, brothers.
